Hi folksI'm getting an error running exportCurrentFrameAsPNG function in the sample ppro panel.It's complaining about an illegal parameter type.I'm also having issues using activeSequence.exportFramePNG(time, outputFileName);It is ignoring a burn-in track I have on v3, and only exporting the video on track v1. Is that expected behaviour? Clicking the export frame button in the UI does export the burnins, which is the metadata effect applied to a video clip.I'm on mac premiere 2025. Many thanks

Hello,I've been successfully using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 for quite some time now.  But my recent video has some exporting issues.For some reason whenever I export my video to an MP4 format (H.246), the export will either take 5+ hours (for a 20 minute video) or it will take 15 minutes (same exact work area).  In both cases I end up with an unreadable .mp4 file and an additional .m4v file (no clue why this suddenly gets created, it never has before), but in the latter case (when it only takes 15 minutes to export), the output file is only about 24 bytes.The ONLY thing I've done different in this video than past videos is I used 2 MP3 files (audio only) for an intro and outro music on the video.  I always make sure to choose 'render entire work area' before exporting. Does anyone know why my exported files are unreadable using the above information?  I've made dozens of videos prior to this one all using the same recording gear with no issues during export.  The

Importing footage from the Canon R5, which was shot on log 3 Cinema, as I go to override the color management from 709 to log3 Cinema, in Premiere, it looks exactly as I want it, but once it encodes, the image turns gray, and unsaturated, as if the colorspace didn't change.   

When I am done editing my projects, I transfer my data to my NAS (SynologyDrive). When I try to connect my data with the new location of the data, I can´t see my NAS. Under "Network" i only see my Icloud but not my NAS. Does anybody know what I can do to fix that?

I recently updated to version 25.1.0 and started experiencing an issue with the timeline needle.When I press play, the needle freezes repeatedly, making editing extremely difficult.How can I resolve this issue? 

Hello, I'm using Premiere Pro 25.1. When I toggle full screen, error ''A low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Player (Player:76)'' pops up and nothing happens. This happens in my custom workspace. When I toggle fullscreen in another custom workspace, the image ''pops out'' of the program monitor, but the size of the image increases only slightly. I have a three monitor setup at home and at work. At home this issues doesn't happen, it happens only at work. At home all monitors are full hd, at work one is 4k - is this causing the issues? If so, how do I fix it?Thanks

I am sure this almost impossible to debug but Premiere Pro 2025 very often crashes with a BSOD after closing the application. Since it takes a while before it happens (5 to 10 seconds) I suspect it has something to do with cleaning up memory or the CUDA household. I switched to 2025 Beta, which does not seem to crash, but today I closed the Beta, forgot something and restarted the application. Pro was probably still cleaning up resources and boom. A new BSOD.  Pro report it wasn't able to close correctly on restart, even though my work was saved and the App was normally closed. So I usually don't lose any work. This happened a lot until I switched to the beta, and only one time I had to revert to a backup project. I already refreshed my Windows installation, checked my memory and removed all non essential software. I ran WinDbg on the mini dump and it reports a 'kernel64 issue' which doesn't seem to be related to drivers or 3rd party stuff. Besides it only happens when I shut

Stamattina ho provato ad aprire un progetto a cui sto lavorando, lo carica velocemente fino a metà e poi si blocca. Ho provato ad accedere a premiere e ad importare il progetto di cui sopra in un progetto nuovo, ma si blocca lo stesso. Per verificare, ho provato ad aprire altri progetti su cui avevo lavorato più volte, non riesce ad aprire nemmeno quelli. Ho provato a creare un nuovo progetto inserendo delle clip a caso e salvandolo, per vedere se chudendo il programma e provando ad aprirlo funzionasse: niente. Cosa devo fare? Penso sia un problema di Premiere e non del progetto in sè, dal momento che non riesce ad aprire nemmeno progetti a cui ho già lavorato più e più volte. 

when i press play for playback, i get the below issue. this is random - sometimes it happens and sometimes it does not. when it does happen i have to restart/keep trying till it fixes itself and dissapears this is a screenshot of the issue - it flickers on the screen i am running win 11 on alienware with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 everything is up to date   

Hi Community, I work for a company that is phasing out a program that we use to create Photo Presentations on, and normally then publish those and recordings direct to physical DVD Discs from it.I've just had a quick look at Premiere Pro, as we already have Adobe software for our image editing and recording edits, but seem unable to publish directly to a physical disc. I tried the following:File > Export > Media > MPEG2-DVD & changing Multiplexing to the DVD setting**as shown in some google basics.This hasn't worked however, it just created a file on my deskop.Is there a setting i've missed for Premiere Pro to publish directly to the DVD disc itself?We work on Window 10 Machines, and projects are done in HD 720 if that helps.Thanks for your time, Simone

Hi, I am stumped. My preview in Premiere Pro is perfect but after exporting the video is lagging up to where it looks more of a slide show with still images. I tried different solutions: Creating a new sequenceChange the renderer in File > Project Settings to: Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Software Only)Restart and export againDifferent exportsettingsHow can I fix this?  

I recently had a catastrophic failure in my Windows 10 machine - I lost an entire 6 months of work on 3 projects - Every exported video, every sequence, every timeline - gone into nothingness  - It would be nice if there were a way to synch projects with Creative Cloud to save a copy automatically to the cloud when a "file save" is done locally.  Save one to the project directory and automatically save one to the cloud - is this something that exists and I do not know about or is it something that Adobe should be providing as part of the creative cloud service?  I saw an auto save feature for team projects, but nothing for a one man show freelancer like me! If I am missing something, chastise me, but point me in the right direction!If I am not wrong, then please tell Adobe to add this as a feature to the Creative Cloud as it would have saved my hide and not cause me to lose some valuable work, time and opportunities due to a machine failure!BTW - I was able to talk

Hello and happy new year to the group. For some time now all my versions of Premiere Pro CC have been crashing when I go into Settings. Whatever choice I make from the settings menu the program stops and exits. I tried reinstalling version 23..... which I had uninstalled a few months ago but this also has the same problem. Only my old 32-bit CS5.5 does not have this problem. I tried manually cleaning the cache by deleting all the files but nothing changes. Since the last time I used the Preferences I have not changed anything in the hardware of the Windows 10 PC which I update regularly. The Preferences in Media Encoder however do not present any problems. The preferences generate the crash even if selected from the initial window, the one from which you then choose whether to open an existing project. I also tried resetting the settings and the plugin cache at startup but nothing, if I click on one of the submenus of Preferences Premiere closes. All the other menus and submenus work r

I produce commercials in many cities.  Each city had their own project.Now I have lucid link and changing to Production with each city being their own project within production.  Starting fresh.I have one project within production that holds all the video from all of the cities.  I have separate projects for each city.  That way multiple editors can be working with the same footage doing commercials for different cities. When I come back from a shoot I put the interview on a sequence and cut it up so when I edit I only look at the couple minutes of good material rather than the whole 12-minute interview. Can I bring these old interview sequences in to the new production style of doing things?  If I go into the project within production for that city and import the interview from the old project it brings in the interview video clips too (RED) and I'm wanting to not do that.  I'm wanting to tell it to link to the video clips within the project I s

Hey guys, I've run into a little problem using any effect that affects the border of an image. I have a PNG of a logo with a transparent background, and I'm trying to add a glow effect to the logo. The issue is that the logo's edges are flush with the edges of the transparent background. This results in the glow effect being cut off by the edge of that actual PNG. Are there any efficient workarounds for this?

Using CC 2025...whenever I add a marker while the playhead is paused, it automatically opens up the Marker Dialogue Box (where you can fill in comments, etc.) This is a bit annoying, as I have to close it each time. Usually in the past, I would have to click the add marker shortcut (M in my case) twice to open the dialogue box. Any reason why this is happening?

Hi,Sorry if this is something ridiculously basic, but when I open the 'new sequence' window up, it is longer than my laptop screen.. cannot resize it or pull it up so I can't even get to the bottom of the window to click to start a new sequence. Am I being profoundly stupid?

After updating the version, I found that the function of the scroll wheel on the Program Monitor has changed to zooming in and out. This is a completely stupid decision. In most cases, it was just fine for me to use the "Fit" option, and the original function was very handy. Now, after I use the scroll wheel and then press the "~" key, it doesn't show the "Fit" view anymore but a fixed proportion instead. It's so annoying!!!   Why isn't it the case that you hold down the Ctrl key and then roll the scroll wheel to change the proportion?  

How to delete a project in this panel?  

I have a computer with 64GB of RAM, and components like the graphics card and CPU cost over $400 each. Ever since installing Premiere 2025, when I open a project or load multiple video clips, the RAM usage hits its maximum, then a graphics card recognition error occurs, causing the computer to freeze. After about 20 tries, I noticed this pattern.Could it be an optimization issue? It used to work smoothly...Now, I tried switching back to the 2024 version, and... it works!!"
