We need a way to disable the automatic LUT that is applied every time I ingest footage from an Arri Alexa/Amira/Alexa Mini. Stripping the lut from these clips every time they're imported is very tiresome.
When attempting to select an effects module in the audio panel effects tabs, the terminal list preview fails to display properly preventing a selection.
this is just a small bug. In the latest release, creating a new project works as usual and saves fine. No problems here. However, when you reopen Premiere, the file doesn't show in the recent files list. When you edit and save, it's added to the list. Also, the Adobe widely used 'SAVE' dialog doesn't use the extension to check if a file already exists (please fix it, it's been around forever and you risk overwriting something important). I've reported this a 1000 times before. So 'TEST' with extension set to '*.PNG' doesn't check. 'TEST.PNG' gets a warning when it exists.
Hi,Im facing video export issue after updating it to 2025. Video export is not working and not even encoding. Export button does nothing and timeline layers keep disappering, only appear after mouse hover over the layer
I had similar issues on 24.3 and reverted to 24.1 which is stable. Source media is from a Canon XA 40, 4K mxf at 29.97. In Premiere 25.0.0 (Build61), it was giving me multiple frame subtitiution errors. I cleared the cache, but that didn't help. Upon trying to export a 2 minute long h264 file, the system crashed. I tried multiple time, but every time it crashed. I rebuilt the project in 24.1, which I saved because it is stable, and had no issues. Another issue in 25.0, I normally set my raw files in field order. When I re-open the project, they are no longer in field order and I have to do that again. I have never experienced that in any other version I have worked on over the last 15 years of editing with Adobe. Thanks,Dave GoldschlagSr Video Production SpecialistHealth FirstMelbourne, Florida
Hey Guys! I have a problem with editing projects in two versions of Premiere Pro - my older computer - 23.6.9 (I cannot upgrade, because I dont have AVX2) and the new one - the latest update. It used to be easy to downgrade projects with online apps, but now its stopped working. Downgraded projects cannot be open in the older PP. Is there any solution for this problem?
When Ripple Deleting empty part of the Timeline, a 1 frame space is left. -Select a space without clips in the Time Line-Press command-Backspace-See how a 1 frame space is left Maybe this is related to my other bug report for 25.0.0.0 / Machttps://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/paste-insert-not-accurate/idi-p/14973621#M40199 I tested in in the previous version of Premiere Pro - the problem does not exist there.
So two bugs to report:#1 - Versions: Started with v24.1 - ish and v25 (current) We use a pretty simple folder template:1. assets2. Post3. PreExport4. Finals Have been using this structure since Adobe Cs6 and the start of CC. However, before the last update in PPro 2023 when I choose our location to output to (ex. ...\3.PreExport\versions\v1\example v1.mp4) it'll auto move the location to the subfolder 3.PreExport and rename the file name (example v1.mp4) as 3.mp4. It's been quite annoying now for over a year and was never an issue. Happens in Media Encoder, PPro, and AE. The only two solutions I found were to, when naming the file, actually type out .mp4/.mov/.wav/etc. when I name it OR to move the file to the intended folder afterwards and rename it what we need it to be named. It would be nice to go back to the old way Adobe handled it which was to not consider "." in a file path as the file name. Quite frustrating as we have recurrin
proxies do not work. i tried almost everything, nothing changes. h264 lwo resolution proxy, from a 1080 p video. its attached to the media. im sure. i toggle the proxy, but image wont change. dont know what to do. pr version 24.0. i yesterday i tried in pr v25.0. everything fine working. but in pr 24.0, proxies dont work. tried different formats and everything. please help. tks.
When I uploaded my raw video file into the project panel, the left and right audio can be seen on audio timeline and when you hear the sound it comes through both the left and right speakers. But when I drop the file from the project panel into the editing panel, the left and right audio can still be seen on the audio timeline, however when I press play the sound only comes out of the left speaker on my computer. I have tired to look up YouTube how to videos (fill left to right and fill right to left Audie effect, stereo to mono etc), but nothing has worked yet. Any direction would be much appreciated.
I transfer my files out to Da Vinci Resolve (until Premiere gets a decent temporal noise reduction effect) and back to Premiere. I render my animations as jpeg files. But the output from Resolve as a jpeg sequence is, for some reason, very noisy (and 1 GB) from a tiff sequence. However, when trying the output/delivery using h.265 (at its highest quality 80,000 kbs, CBR), it works well. It plays smoothly and without noise... and it is only 148 MBs. But I’m nervous about the tiny file size, which is far smaller than the noisy jpeg sequence... Will it have enough information for the final output render in Premiere (a lower bitrate h.265) as compared to rendering out as a jpeg sequence, 7 times the MB size as the h.265 file?
Hello, I am on Mac Monterey, with the latest version of Adobe Premiere. I have a blackmagic decklink mini monitor 4K card. I have installed the desktop video 12.1 driver. The card is well recognized by the system. In resolve, everything works perfectly and the playback is perfect. But in Premiere, the card is not recognized at all in the settings, and impossible to have a video return. The card is only recognized for audio. Do you have a solution to this very strange problem? Thanks in advance
Alright, strap in people that like problem solving. I'll do my best to keep it concise and to the point! Suddenly, Premiere Pro has began to increase it's memory usage as I interact with the software, until reaching 99% memory usage at which point I cannot scrub timeline, playback video, make cuts, etc. Premiere will then freeze for minutes at a time until it registers a single action, or stops responding and needs to be force closed entirely if more than one action is input at a time. (note going forward, this doesn't happen to all projects, seemingly random projects, despite all footage originating from the same place, and the same process of editing). *Playing the timeline doesn't make the memory usage go up, but interacting with the program using my cursor in any way does. I sent the project file to my boss and was then having the exact same issue in that project. Copying the timeline/cuts and pasting in a new project did not help, and the issue persiste
I'm not totally new to Premiere Pro, but I just got it again after some time away. When I went to use it for the first time the video clips I imported playback like a bad movie where the audio and video are off my as much as two seconds. When I preview the video clips in Quicktime, they are synched. Put them on the timeline and they are not. Can someone tell me what's going on and how I can fix it?
Working as an assistant logging/preparing a project in Premiere Pro 2023 and getting extremely poor performance across the whole program. - Thumbnails take forever to load, Media pending-Extremely laggy UI (2 second wait minimum for UI to respond to mouse clicks / keyboard commands: opening a bin, selecting a clip, menu commands)- Eventually becomes unusable due to spinning beachball and eventaually becomes unresponsive.
I've recently taken some video of a live band and within some clips the audio suddenly limits /(dips) because of the limiter in iPhone 15 Pro kicking in on events such as eceptionally loud drums etc. The audio then gradually comes up to same level after say 500ms / 750msThe Normalise Gain does not work, I know you can adjust gain of the clip with keyframes in Effects but this is a bit fiddly especially if you have several to fix.Is there an easier way to do this now in Premiere Version 25.0??I've looked in help section but 95% of help talks about the Normalise gain of several clips. This problem is to make audio level smoother within the clip itself and overcome the iphone volume limiter effect.I wanted to avoid Compression which can make audio sound constrained. Thanks for any help
is it possible to do strikethrough text in Premiere? Also, is it possible to keyframe the strikethrough? I don't see any text icon for it. I'm on a macbook. thanks!
Premier Pro not exporting video files. Now i love using my Premier Pro but it is no good if it keeps having issues .. I have no idea why it refuses to export the video files because it has been working fine until this morning and I have not changed anything. The audio exports fine but the Video just exports as a white screen. At £20 a month its very poor.
Hey, I'm pretty new to this and to not know all the proper terms. But I've been editing simple podcasts for about a year and haven't run into this problem before. When I went to start aditing my last podcast, I did everything normally. Created a project, drug my media into it, created a sequence, placed media in sequence, synchronized everything, and then opened the audio in Audition and did my normal editing on it. then I saved it and went back to Premiere. But now for some reason my audio clips are only playing out of the left speaker, or the right speaker (depending on which track I place it in). Track A1 only plays out of the left speaker, and track A2 only plays out of the right speaker. It doesn't seem to matter what audio clip I place in those tracks, same results. Normally for me, in all the tracks, everything plays out of both speakers. And when I open the audio clips in audition, they play just fine. I'm sure
Since 2018 I (and many others) have not been able to scroll through the LUTS in the Lumetri Color tab. Every time we use the scroll wheel or arrow keys, the scroll reverts back to the BROWSE feature and opens up a new window. We cannot see the LUT as it is applied to the image while scrolling, only when it is manually selected by clicking. This makes it nearly impossible to preview how different looks will apply to the image. I have hundreds of LUTS. I work with a variety of different cameras, compressions, color sciences and profiles, and not having this feature makes it IMPOSSIBLE to do any meaningful color correction in Premiere. I have to outsource everything to DaVinci Resolve for my color management. I've been posting about this on the discussion forums, but apparently even though the employees are actively responding on the discussion forums, it does not get brought up to be fixed until it's posted here. Thanks.
Why is it that with each new version of Premiere Pro, there are fewer built-in effects?I could understand if there were a need to remove effects that only work properly with GPU acceleration using CUDA, justified by the fact that many users are on macOS, which might cause compatibility issues. But that's not the case. Many of the effects being removed with each new version of Premiere Pro functioned perfectly on CPU, providing excellent compatibility regardless of hardware.I often create presets and templates for Premiere Pro, and there's even a "Premiere Pro Templates" category on Adobe Stock. So it's very strange to see such a trend in the development of Premiere Pro, considering its commercial value.Previously, a large list of effects was removed without maintaining compatibility, including even RGB Curves, which was so convenient. Now I've installed Premiere Pro 2024 and noticed that it no longer includes Solid Composite, Checkerboard, Arithmetic (and possibly more — I haven't check
Hi there!I rendered an animation in Chaos Vantage, the output being a series of png files. I imported as an Image Sequence in Premiere, and exported it in H.264 (also tried exporting through Media Encoder, with the same results):https://youtube.com/shorts/ySIaH_SlIg4?feature=share As you can see, there is very visible banding and macroblocking in the ceiling. These are the export settings (I tried to turn on Use Maximum Render Quality and Render at Maximum Depth, to no avail):What can I change to improve my render? Software used:- Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 Version 24.2.1 (Build2)
Hey everyone,After updating Premiere Pro to version 25.0, I encountered a recurring issue: every time I import an MXF file, Premiere Pro crashes completely.I attempted to downgrade to version 24.6, but the issue persisted. However, when I downgraded further to version 24.3, everything worked as expected. Is there a reason I can’t use the newer versions without experiencing this crash?System Details:macOS Sonoma 14.6.1Apple M1 Pro chipAny insights or fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
