Hi everybody. This might be really obvious but after searching in Google and YouTube I couldn’t find the answer! How do you paste the content of a track, either one clip or a sequence of clips, from one Premiere file into another? Weirdly I managed to do this with an audio file with no problems but when I copied video which has no attached audio I could not paste it into another file! Thanks for your help.

Hi everybody!In the 2nd picture you can see something written on the flipchart.I'd need to have what is written on the flipchart in the scene that's visible in the 1st screenshot as well, however, as you can see the Person in front of the flipchart is moving their arms around.Is it actually possible to do something in order to fix it or nah?Thank you~

I have a number of completed episodes with their own captioning data, and multiple audio tracks. So each episode is a multi-track sequence. Those sequences are nested (and chopped up) in my Editing Sequence, where all the episodes are being re-edited into a shorter version of the story. I can see the captioning in my Editing Sequence. (Disappears if I enable multi-cam on the nested video assets, but I don't need that so multi-cam is ONLY on for audio.) Everything seems to work great, if I only wanted to burn-in captions. But I'd like to export them instead. The captions toggle does not turn on. I can't copy/paste the caption data from episode sequences because the episodes sequences are not where the editing takes place... the captioning data would not align with the Editing Sequence.

Today I updated Premiere to the latest version, and black lines started appearing every time the transform effect affects a layer. I'm editing some TikToks where, when using transitions with the transform effect on an adjustment layer, black lines appear on the video. I noticed this when I disabled layers one by one until I identified the effect causing it. Also, when applying it to subtitles to achieve a wiggle effect, they consistently have black lines above them. I assumed it was a display issue, but the black lines persist even after rendering. I also opened previous projects where I had no issues, and the lines started appearing in those projects as well. I didn't find any answers on the internet, and the problem started today right after the update. Does anyone know how to fix it? I can't work with this issue 😞 Adobe Premier Pro 24.1Windows 11  

I have recently updated to the 2023 version of Adobe Premiere Pro. My project is quite large but I have been patient. It is stuck on the media pending screen for all my footage and I can't edit my project.    This used to work before I updated. I am attempting to setup keyboard shortcuts.I go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts... and nothing happens.The window does not appear. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+K does nothing to bring up the window either. I tried Rest to Saved Layout, no changes.I tried Reset app preferences (holding down shift on application load), no changes. Adobe Premiere Pro 25.0Windows 11 Home Version 23H2AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, x64-based processor48.0 GB of RAMNVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

Hello Adobe Community,   I’m developing a video effect plugin for Premiere Pro using the C++ SDK. The plugin works as expected during interactive playback (e.g., when I drag the playback scroll and hold it), and the effect is correctly displayed in the preview. However, when I release the playback scroll or export the media, the output frame turns completely black.   Key Details:   •The plugin correctly processes frames using the Render function during interactive use. •The issue occurs specifically when the playback scroll is released or during export. •I’ve ensured that the input frames are accessed and processed using PF_InData and PF_OutData structures. •My plugin works well within After Effects, not a single issue.   What I’ve Tried:   •I verified that PF_Cmd_RENDER is implemented correctly and that pixel formats are managed properly. •I tested with various frame setups and ensured input/output buffers were correctly populated.   Questions:   1.

Hallo zusammen,Ich hoffe, mir kann jemand helfen, denn ich weiß es nicht mehr woran es liegen könnte. eine komplette neu Installation von Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 hat nicht geholfen.Dieses Problem tritt auch nur an meinem Rechner auf. Am Laptop funktioniert es.Wenn ich das Programm öffne, bekomme ich mehrere Fehlermeldungen:Ich habe dem Ordner, der auch leer ist manuell alle Rechte gegeben und der Ordner ist nicht schreibgeschützt. Die Löschung des Ordners hat ebenfalls nichts gebracht.Wenn ich auf "Ok" klicke, kommt sofort folgende Meldung:Wenn ich zu dem Link gehe, komme ich auf eine 404 Seite...Wenn ich beide Meldungen weg geklickt habe, habe ich teilweise große schwierigkeiten Videos im Schnittprogramm abzuspielen. Ich hoffe, mir kann jemand helfen!Ich nnutze Windows 10 64Bit neuste Updates sind auch Installiert.Gruß,Florian

When I import images, they show up in the media browser and I can drag them into the sequence. But the images don't show when I play the preview or in the source section.

I just installed the latest version, Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.  Now I can't get my .png transparent image files to show up in the program.  When I import them I just see all black.  The png file is not there and yet there is nothing wrong with the png file.  Something is wrong with Premiere Pro CC 2017.  I've tried exporting the png using different color types (CMYK, RGB, etc.) but that doesn't work.  I've seen many posts with people complaining about this problem but I haven't found any solutions.  Please help.

Hi!I stumbled across a weird problem while working on a problem with a lot of SD footage from DVD. A quick primer to set the stage:The material in question was originally shot on film and comes from PAL DVDs. Europe deals with film on TV in a straight forward way. It is played back at 25fps and every frame is shown as two frames of video - so there is no real difference between progressive and interlaced DVDs like in the US. All DVDs are 25fps and you either treat it as progressive or 50Hz interlaced. My problem:Most of the material is fine. Every frame of film was scanned as two frames of video (top field- bottom field) when it was telecined back in the 80s and when it was digitzed those two fields became one frame again.But for a little over 30% the cadence is wrong. and it was telecined as bottom field - top field. Back in the days of CRTs this was no issue but now every digital frame consists of to fields that don't belong together. On a base level I would need to sp

After a few minutes of working on the project, the play button stops working. Spacebar doesn't work either

Hi Is anybody else experiencing the glitching problem?  I also can't change the GPU and when trying to import footage to an older version It says I can't? Any help would be much appreciated as the project is supposed to be out 6pm tonight and I cant put it out like this.  Thank You JLD

Im a new user of Premiere Pro and I have Premiere 2020 ver.14.01, im on a pretty strong PC (Intel Core i7-7700K CPU 24.20 GHz 4.20 GHZ, 16 GB RAM) with Windows 10 Pro 64bit ver. 1903, graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070.I have no trouble to start up the ptogram or even use the Learning section and using those media files for editing, but every time I try and start a own project the program will freeze when im trying to import a MP4 file. Ive tried to import by double clicking the import media section, I tried to right click-import on the file in the media section, I tried to drag the file directlt to timeline, source monitor window and everywhere else and it just freezes. Can someone please help?

For some unknown reason when I import video into premiere the video glitches horribly when played on my timeline. The source footage when played outside of premiere [in a program such as QUICKTIME], plays completely normal. After reading many threads regarding this topic I have done much trouble shooting [deleted media cache, changed audio hardware, decreased playback quality, imported into new project, upgraded premiere pro, ect.] but still without any luck. I am working on a mac, and also updated it thinking it may be caused by the computer and not premeire. I am still using the same equipment [luminex G7, same SD CARD], as well as the same settings within premiere that  I have on previous projects, which is why I don't understand why I am having this sudden unresolved issue. Hi everybody, after two days I opened (till this time normally working project) and see this ↓↓↓ some clips are online few seconds and teh rest is offline. When I want to link media, there is error message "the importer reported a generic error". Do you know, how can I fix it? When I export XML, there is the same problem after it's imported. I am working on Adobe premiere and using Epidemic Sounds for copyright free music. I was able to download one audio file to use but it won't download anymore and I keep getting the message "We were unable to open the file on disk". I have tried downloading with wave and mp3 but I get a different error with wave. I have made sure I have media feature pack downloaded on my windows 11 PC. I have updated both Adobe premiere pro and the Epidemic music app. I do not know what else to try. Please help me troubleshoot.

Is it possible to insert GPS information on GoPro clips as an overlay in a Premiere edit, like the ones GoPro Hero 5 Quik editor can insert (below)?I have the .kml file from Google Maps and I'd like to sync the gps time with the clip time and add the speed, position, etc, on my Premiere edit.Thanks in advance

Previously, editing was easier. When selecting all subtitle tracks with the '(A)' tool, modifications were not possible in properties panel. 

When i edit my videos and i play them every second or two it randomly blinks a black screen. Also happens when i export the video. Anybody has any solutions?

Getting this error after trying to import .MOV video after bouncing it to quicktime from Pro Tools. Didn't find any answer on what is actually going on. What does it mean that clip has "complex edit list"?
