SUMMARY: My app often crashes whenever I switch workspaces. It's not every time, but often enough that I've gotten in the habit of saving before trying to switch workspaces. DETAILS:I'm using Premiere Pro Version 24.03 (Build 2) on a 2022 MacBook Air with macOS Sequoia 15.0 (though the issue was occurring prior to this OS).I've noticed the crashing specifically when switching to the Editing workspace from the Assembly workspace, and it has also occurred when switching between other workspaces, but I'm not sure which ones.

Video Player is freezing , sometimes the project panel where our files are shown automatically scrolls to down. freeze ,fails to open projects sometimes , we have to restart app to fix the problem, its happening frequently ,lagging even after fully rendered,

I just updated Premiere Pro to 24.2.1 but it won't download the Machine Learning Models and just stays spinning/loading endlessly. Any help? Thanks!

Everything is fine while editing, there is no noise in the background and the voices are fine but when the file is already exported and I review it in any video player with normal speed, the entire video becomes high pitched and there is a noise like grain in the background.   It happens with ALL video projects, on 2 different computers... I already restarted the computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the programs.   Link to Google play deleted. MOD

I tried everyting that I could think of to get my edit system up and running: - Uninstalled and Reinstalled the program- Updated everything- Ran the creative cloud diagnostic with "no issues found"- Reset all preferences Running Mac Sequoia 15.0 (updated today)Premiere Pro 24.6.1 (trying an older version now) Any helo would be appreciated.  This has eaten up about 3 hours of my workday, and client deadlines are quickly approaching.  

Hi,I have created a 1 minute promo clip and would like to have it at around <1 mb but still retain some quality. At this size, I would expect it to only be viewed on mobile devises.What would be the best format and settings for this?TIA

Hey,  I'm finding I'm getting some audio/video glitches after exporting media. Basically when I playback the exported file, at some point it will stop for a few seconds (though I can see in the timer bar it is still playing and the picture will freeze and the audio will drop out) and then it will resume again. I have tried various different types of export, and they all have glitches in different places, I've tried it at least 6 times. It's hard to share video examples as each one has done it in a different place. I have tried changing the export from hardware encoding to software encoding and tried rendering it and exporting to media encoder, which didn't work either. I cannot change it from GPU rendering in my sequence settings.  When the edit timeline was unrendered, there were no issues at all. I've also tried rendering the media as a ProRes 444 and this has audio glitches but not video ones i.e. the sound cuts out, but the video keeps playing, unlike in th

hey.  I'm trying to set up a mask and track it according to a video i'm watching but it's not tracking the mask.  it just stops and hangs.  Any reason for this?

Hey guys, I've been having this problem since there was an Adobe update a few months ago. Why can't I add a constant power inbetween my audio tracks? Both the clips have handles, there is quite a bit of space on either side, but Premiere is only allowing me to add the effect at the start of the cut.  One hint seems to be that when I drag one of the clips forward a bit, Premiere allows me to add a constant power at the end of the clip that centres on cut. But then I am subsequently disallowed from adding a centre on cut at the beginning of the clip. These are clips with a lot of extra audio (handles) to work with on either side, so this doesn't make any sense. Someone please help me!   

Envato Trippy Punch Effect impoterd to my Media browser. My mov on V1. Click V2 ready to import Effect. When I try to drag the effect file onto V1 ( or any other teime line tracks ..I still get the closed hand icon and no go. I have ytried numeraous Clciking on's of the V1 V2 blue openings. I am tyrying to import effecvt file on top of my orriginal film ( the effect is not a transition). Any clues to what I may be doing wrong please.?dave  

Hello everyone! So I wanted to re-open a relatively old PP project on the 2024 version of a short film project file I edited a year ago to add laurels to the timeline.  Normally, the project would take forever to re-link media (see image below) from my external hard drive, but for over a month now, I haven't been able to work on the project at all because shortly after I open the project and while the "Relinking media" progress circle at the top works, Premiere Pro suddenly shuts down and closes all of a sudden. I've worked on other projects on the same computer and none have this problem.  After looking on different forums, many people pointed out that it could be either my GPU (Nvidia) that needs an update or rollback or that I'm using RED camera footage (I don't know what the issue could be here). I'm using proxys to work the RED footage and I have lumetri color grading applied to all the clips on my timeline. I'm not sure what the problem could be - I'

In Premiere Pro V23 we have found that if you are playing a clip back in the source window, you cannot switch between any other panel pinned in the smae quadrant. 

My Premiere Pro project is freezing. I have tried 3 computers and put the project onto a different external hard drive that has a read and writting speed of 2000+MB/s. I have started a new project and only brought in 10% of the footage but still it freezes and is slugish. The audio plays fine, its just the image. I am not having this issue with other projects. Im sure its an issue that has moved from one hard drive to the other, i just dont now what it is. Has anyone experienced this or knows what i can do to fix it?I have tried 3 Mac book Pro's M2, M3 16gb+ the external hard drives are WD 4tb and an X10 4tb. The footage and files are less than 2tb. Premier Pro is up to date. thanks

I am trying to export a DCP from a project using Premiere 2019 and every time I do the program freezes. It doesn't crash and when I look at the force quit menu is shows that Premiere is still working. It also is crashing at different points in the project. I have exported a prores422  version and have tried to convert it using Media encoder and that too failed. I am now trying it on Premiere 2018 and hoping that works. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

Hey you guys!I can't drag/resize a clip in my program monitor when I double click it, which used to always work. I was thinking maybe there's a new button I've not heard of or something? The only time double clicking the program monitor to reposition a clip actually works is when I double click (on the program monitor) the shot I want to reposition and then scroll over to another clip, double click it (on the program monitor), then come back to the clip I actually want to reposition and double click it (on the program monitor). I've reinstalled premiere a bunch of times and I've also switched back and forth from using "mercury playback engine gpu acceleration (cuda)" to "mercury playback engine software only" under my project settings and the issue persists no matter what.It's been a while I've had this problem and I can't stand it anymore so I thought I'd just ask all my fellow editors out there.Thanks so much, have an awesome day!

Somehow I haven't found more than a random redit post with no solutions in the 2 comments it had on this, but this bug is absolutely breaking me. Basically, whenever I try to feather an inverted mask, premiere decides to feather whatever I'm masking on the video border too. I really wish I could make it stop doing this, any help is apriciated. The audio in Premiere Pro 2024 is very glitchy. It works normally after exporting, but annoying when editing. Any adjustments I should make? 

Hello everyone, I created my captions with the auto captions feature and then converted it to a graphic. Then I made vector motion changes to one of the text and I select "vector motion", copy it and then I select all of the other text and click paste. Nothing happens. The same thing happens when I select a text and copy it and when I click "paste attributes".

Hola, he tenido problemas ultimamente al trabajar con Premiere Pro 2024, al momento de trabajar cualquier tipo de video en cualquier formato, regresa segundos de una forma salteada, no deja que se reproduzca de manera adecuada. Pasa lo mismo en previsualización y en la linea de tiempo, ya actualice los drivers de mi tarjeta grafica y nada, actualice mi sistema operativo, cree proxies. Recientemente cambie a una computadora más potente. 64 de ram, 4 Teras de SSD, tiene icore i9 de 13va generación. Trabajo bien en After Effects pero Premiere sigue con este problema.Alguna idea de que más podría cambiar desde Premiere?Video referencia

Is there a good "temporal noise reduction" effect or plugin for Premiere? I just started using Blender for animations, which produces a lot of noise when using default denoisers for animations. Other solutions are very time-consuming and complicated. VR Denoise in Premiere doesn't work well. I tried the Neat demo, but it was too blurry. However, I tried DaVinci Resolve's Temporal Noise Reduction, which works brilliantly. But delivering it back to Premiere creates huge files at the uncompressed default. I usually use jpeg sequences (not available in Da Vinci) since they use up less hard drive space, and the quality at 100% is OK. But I would have to recompress the video back to Premiere to make it manageable in size, and it'd lose more quality.  ...Or should I render it as a non lossy tiff sequence and then deliver it back to Premiere...using what type of file so that it is comparable to the original jpeg sequence in size and quality?   Any ideas?  &nb
