Questions

The more I use the app, the more problems I encounter. At first I couldn't color grade any clips, still can't, it doesn't show up or change in the slightest even if I render it. Now I can't even do basic effects like blur. The effect doesn't show up, like all the other effects I've struggled with, rendering doesn't change anything, starting a new project doesn't, uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere doesn't either.  

Why were these transitions removed???? They were my FAVORITE. I don't care if it slowed down my exporting process and I want them back.

Please help me. I have class recordings that are approx. 9 hours long, and I need to watermark them, but the watermark needs to switch corners every 10 seconds. I have read about creating one and have inserted one in the video for the entire length. Furthermore, I understand about setting markers to switch corners, but it's 9 hours long! I can't try scrolling every 10 seconds and changing the position, as I would be here next year still trying. Can someone please give me instructions on how to: Set a watermark to switch corners every 10 seconds without doing it manually.Either have a method to save or have it be easy to remember/repeated. This is only Day 1 of a 2-day class that's repeated for 3 different subjects several times a month. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this has to be done quick, so our classes are not pirated; and this is how the boss wants it,

everyone knows alt+left click u can select only 1 link/group stuffbut somehow it just reverse ?when i left click (without alt+)it turns up that i only select only 1 sutff in link/grouphow do i turn it back  ? 

I have a problem... On our editing islands, access to the “internet” is blocked (access to websites and so on). We only allow the ports responsible for communicating with ADOBE's servers on the firewall.But now we need to use the AI service, which apparently needs internet access. I would like to know if there is a specific port for this communication, or do I have to allow internet access in the editing islands? 

I was editing a project, I clicked on a tutorial and it changed everything, Nothing works the way I'm used to, Is there a way to restore back to how I always done it?

So i am making a film for my film photos and I am trying to export it but when i do some of the photos are blurry. The first 3 photos are fine and then the last two are just always blurry no matter what. I have tried putting them in a differnt position and still the same problem. I have tried to render effects in and out and out and in and this didnt work, maybe I did it in the wrong order? 

I can no longer get a transcription in order to create subtitles for a video. I've checked that the language is set to French, selected the correct audio track, and even tried other clips or audio tracks that worked before, but when I start a transcription, at the end it says 'no dialogue found'. I’m using the latest update. Can anyone help?

Hi all, This sounds simple, but I'm stumped. I have 1000's clips, all need scale adjustment.   Some of the clips have already been altered in the position and rotation.   I only need to copy and paste the new scale size, and NOT the rotation and or other attributes in the "motion" category. Am I out of luck?  I don't see how I can do this without altering all the other settings.   Thanks so much for your help! Letty

So I'm editing a podcast with 2 cameras and 1 split screen as a nested sequance and i wanted to ad transition between splitscreen clip and individual camera clips via transform effect, so when split screen appears its not just a simple cut, but second camera sliding from over the screen and first slide a little bit too. And also i wanted to use this effect multiple times throughout the podcast. And i tried to use adjustment layer with key frames for that matter, but when you use transform effect on a layer above clip and change the position, clip that layered below of the clip you adjusting is not seen, there is just black background. Im definitely doing something wrong, maybe there is another way to optimize the process

After double clicking a nested sequence, it opens in a new tab in the timeline, and if you continue creating nested sequence & double clicking, more & more tabs open. However, I would like find a shortcut that would go to the previous sequence tab (main sequence) in the timeline? 

Premiere Pro – v24.6 - Bug Suspected Report: Sequence Settings panel/screen will not fully display – “OK” button to commit changes cannot be invoked.“Sequence Settings” panel/screen does not fully display in Windows 11 – 2024-08, so “OK” button at bottom cannot be clicked to make Sequence settings change.  [Adjusted PC screen display, resizing panels, and multiple other attempts – but could not get “Sequence Settings”  panel to 'scroll down' or otherwise display bottom approx. 30%].

Uma mensagem de "erro generico ao vincularmidia" aparece.Para resolver eu preciso escrever a extensão manualmente. ex; Caso for um arquivo de video com formato MP4 eu tenho que escrever ".mp4" se for um audio MP3 eu tenho que escrever ao fim do nome do arquivo ".mp3", assim vale para os .MOV entre outros. Quando irão resolver isso???Porque logo eu vou ter que migrar para outra plataforma de edição porque o Premiere fica dando problema toda semana!

Hi, I have been using Premiere Pro for 2-3 months now and have created several videos with no issues. Since yesterday, however, Premiere Pro does not respond to clicks in the timeline or in the menu. The main menu works fine and some other features can also be clicked on, but the timeline does not react to my clicks any more. It is no longer possible to work with the program. Importantly, if I open older projects they work just fine. If start a brand new project, it works fine at the beginning and after a few edits the same problem occurs. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Wondering if there is a way to update a video's transcript with word edits made directly to its captions once they've been generated.  I find it easier visually to proofread for needed edits as the captions appear in the program monitor + simultaneously make any necessary splicing/merging/timecode adjustments for each caption's text block. Is there a way to do this, or perhaps a good alternative that I'm not aware of?

When I have 2 timeline windows open and I drag an audio clip from one timeline to the other, it COPIES the clip, and then appears on both timelines after the drop. How can I adjust it so when I drag a clip from one timeline to the other, it no longer appears in the original timeline window?----Also, when I drag a clip from one timeline window to another, after I make the drop, if I were to press play, by default it will automatically play the timeline on the original timeline window. How can I set it up to automatically switch to the new timeline window after the drop has been made? Thanks!

Hi everyone,I'm encountering a recurring issue with Adobe Premiere Pro that I hope someone can help me with. Guys, I have a problemafter updating my Adobe Premiere Pro version to 22.3, there is something weird happenedthe first thing is adjusment layer now don't do anything to the clips under it track if I apply a color correction to it, and I tried to nest the clips beneth the adjustment layer but nothing happenedand there is another thing happened, before this version I was able to apply a color correction on the Master clip in the Effect controls, but now there is Master clip in the effect controls, instade I only see the (Source) in there instade of Master clip can you help please?

Super-beginner 'videographer' here.I'm new to this but I am an artist, so I'm not a stranger to color in general.I've shot a bunch of footage that I'm now editing, and I'm struggling with color correcting it. The camera white balance was set to daylight, but I was shooting indoors.There are very bright windows (daylight) in most of the footage. I'm wondering which of these three aproaches would be better for correcting:(all in Lumetri)1) Adjusting Temperature/Tint2) adjusting the saturation of specific hue ranges (ie: bringing down red-yellow).3) use color wheels to shift shadows/mids/highlights separately? I've been trying out combinations of these three and can't quite land on something that looks natuarlistic. Hello,I've got a lot of MiniDV tapes but after uploaded PP on the lastest MacBook Air M1, impossible to choose DV in capture format, only HDV but it doesn't work ... Is it a problem with M1 ?   

I am having a lot of trouble with my 1440x1080 footage and I'm desperate for help. My camera accidentally recorded at 1440x1080 instead of the 1920x1080 that I usually use. The original footage looks fine, but I am having a terrible time figuring out how to export my footage so it doesn't end up looking like garbage. I've tried tons of advice I've found on the internet (and in this forum) but none of it results in footage that looks anything like the original. In order to show the problem, I used VLC to take snapshots of the footage. They both look okay! Hey there, Having some problems capturing miniDV tapes to Premiere. I have CC 2019 on a mac osx 10.15 and everything is up to date. I've had this miniDV camera for over 12 years and have captured footage through it many times. I use firewire and connect the camera like always. Last time I captured a tape was maybe a year ago so some kind of CC 2018. So when I tried doing it again on the same camera same computer it didn't work. I'm able to get the Capture window to Play, Pause, Stop the tape but no timecode pops up and it says "Wrong Input Format. Try Changing Camera Format or Capture Settings." So I've tried going through settings but this is a very consumer type camera where I can't change a lot. I've tried adjusting setting in the capture window and that doesn't work either. I have even installed past versions of Premiere to see if that changes anything. I did notice at some point there was an option for DV or HDV. Now in recent updates I only see HDV, could that have something

I need some opinions on which imac to get to run Premiere Pro. Looking at iMac M3 8core CPU and tossing up 8 core vs 10 core GPU and 8gb vs 16gb vs 24gb unified memory. Is the higher end necessary for the efficient running of premiere pro, or is that overkill? Have people successfully run premiere pro on 8 core gpu and 8gb um?
