I'm wondering if there are any factors that make transcription faster or slower? (For example. what else you have running on your computer, available memory, available hard disk space, other factors?) I'm currently on version 23.6, and I have the checkbox for Automatically transcribe clips checked in Preferences. Everything that I've been transcribing is in English. It eventually gets there, but sometimes I just have to leave it running overnight for it to get to done. So I'm wondering if there's anything else I could be doing on my end to reduce the time required for transcription. Thanks for reading!
To avoid having to zoom in and out constantly, I'm wondering if there is a shortcut key to move the timeline view from side to side quickly and easily? Thanks!
Hi I'm writing a small script that cuts together clips on a sequence via extendscript. I'm having trouble figuring out how to do this with multicam -- as I'd like to ensure that I'm editing with a multicam clip so that I have access to all of the angles. Is this feasible and how? Or - worst case scenario - is there a workaround (e.g. cut with the primary clip, and then option replace with a multicam sequence later. I tried dragging and dropping with the option key, but it doesn't seem like the original timecodes of the edit are retained).
Hi there!!! I've been faced a problem in Adobe Premiere Pro 24.6. Import of uncompressed avi file takes very long time. Duration is 60-70 mins. Is this a bug or it is a normal?
How to make a caracter on V2 to be behind a caracter on V1?
I have encountered a bug in Adobe Premiere Pro versions 24.5 where uncompressed AVI codec videos do not play back properly on the timeline. Instead of displaying the video, the screen remains static and the CPU usage spikes to 100%.Steps to Reproduce:Import an uncompressed AVI codec video into the timeline.Attempt to play back the video.Expected Behavior: The video should play back smoothly on the timeline.Actual Behavior: The video does not play back (the screen is static), only the audio plays, and the CPU usage reaches 100%.System Specifications:Adobe Premiere Pro version: 24.5CPU: Core i9-13900KSRAM: 64.0 GBOperating System: Windows 11Graphics Card: RTX 4090This issue significantly impacts the workflow, making it difficult to work with uncompressed AVI files in the latest versions of Premiere Pro. Please investigate and provide a fix for this problem.Thank you.

Hello everyone. i have tried looking through numerous forum topics but cannot seem to find the answers i need. i am still a bit of a novice in premiere so maybe its that, but who knows..Anyways; i have footage i shot with my Nikon 1 V2, several clips .MOV @ 1080i 60fps. when i import the files to my timeline they play at what seems to be half speed but in the same duration of time as the original footage, the audio is still playing at correct speed. this only happens in premiere and the files work fine on any other playback program on my PC.Please help, this is quite frustrating..
I started getting this error message a week or so ago. Do you have any ideas about how to fix it?
It's not opening. I have already used it but now it's just a black screen
Upon opening a couple of my files I am watching my RAM usage hit the 90's whilst I watch the re-linking circle fill. Ususally this drops back down to acceptable levels. With a number of my projects the RAM usage jumps back up to 99% after a few seconds and stays there for a few minutes until I get "Premiere is running low on resources" messages. If i leave it long enough I get a black screen crash.I am not attempting to do anything whilst this happens. There are no timelines with anything on them.Typically these projects consist of wedding footage, up to about 800 clips of varying length shot in 4K h.264 The only note i can make is that The first time it happened it was a file originally created on my laptop. The last time it happened I accidentally opened the project before powering on the DAS. I immediately realised the issue when the relinking screen popped open and closed without saving. This should not make a difference but I'm really grasping at straws for a solution here.Th
Hi there, I’ve been using Premiere for more than a decade, I’m in the middle of cutting a feature project I’ve been working on for more than 4 months with no issues at all, and I’m hitting a problem I’ve never seen before — it JUST started happening: I’m putting in occasional simple text overlays using the Text tool to create a few subtitles here and there, no more than one line of text per event, default font. Media is 4K .mov H264 and has been running flawlessly with no trouble. PROBLEM: On either side of the text event, for about a second on both sides, playback drops frames to the point of basically freezing, and then resumes normal smooth playback. It feels like the same thing that happens when the machine chokes on a large data file or a big FX render that it can’t handle in real time. It’s one layer of media, no FX, and -- this happens even AFTER I RENDER and have a green bar. I’m doing some crazy compositing in other areas of the movie with multiple layers o
Latest version of Premiere as of the time of writing thisWindows 11Nvidia 4090128 GBS of ramSSD storage with all the space I need on dedicated internal drives Premiere will, out of the blue at times but specifically after saving my work become non-clickable, the program is running fine per my task manager however I am unable to click anywhere in Premiere and have to force quit and reopen the program, this has resulted in corrupted autosave/recovery files and lost work, saving the project file to the existing project file and saving as a new version both seem to be common triggers for this, it's severely impacting my workflow. Things I have tried that have not solved the problem,- There are no nest audio sequences so that's not the issue- I've turned the waveforms on and off several times to no effect- The problem doesn't seem to exist Premiere Beta, which is a trade-off as Premiere Beta has a recurring audio i/o error I can't seem to shake Anyone have any ideas? I'm up a
i used to use channel blur a few years ago, but i notced that it has now been moved to the obsolete folder. i am assuming it has moved because there is a new and better way of applying this effext to clips, but i am not sure how to. any ideas?

I was working on a project in Premiere Pro 2022 v22.04, and I used the proDAD Mercalli Pro (v: 2.0.126.1) plugin and it was all good. After I updated the Premiere Pro to 22.05, the Premiere Pro found the Mercalli plugin offline and it is no longer on the list of plugins. i tried all the methods, even uninstalled the plugin completely, and even when reinstalled it no longer sees the Premiere Pro 2022 v22.5 Mercalli 2 plugin, what can I do? Of course I can go back to 22.04 temporarily, but I would like to ask Adobe experts to fix this problem.
I am trying to import a file from adobe stock and its giving me an error "File uses unsuported video compression type "CFHD" Never had an issue downloading anything from Adobe Stock, If anyone has an asnwer for this I would appreciate it.
Using the example of a Movie as your project, Was the original design of Premiere Pro intended for each sequence to be a scene? If so, is there a way to access some sort of Master Sequence Timeline, where you can easily combine all your sequence scenes into one place and edit them there as you wish? I know you can copy and paste and nest, but from my limited understanding, if you do create a sequence that you use as a Master Sequence Timelime, anytime you want to make a minor edit, you woul need to go back to the sequence-scene, make the edit and then copy and paste it back to the master sequence, which is not worth the hassle. Any guidance or insight you can share on the most efficient way to structure your workflow for something this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, kindly.
Adobe Fonts won't load in unless I open Creative Cloud Desktop. When I open premiere, it goes to the first font on my list, not the font I chose. So I have to open the creative cloud desktop app in order for the fonts to load in, very annoying.
i try out different methods as about mention this community and you-tube on left it's orignal color and middle is with some ways provided in tuitorials.how to fix it.
Hi, after the Premiere Pro update for 2023, I ran into the problem of changing the rendering. I need to do the work and adapt it. Previously, I always chose Software Only, but now I can't choose the right type of render. My operating system ( MacBook pro 14 m2 pro, macOS Sonoma 14.1 )

Greetings Adobe Community, While working with caption blocks on the timeline and manually editing them in the Program panel, I have noticed that the Text panel and the Graphics panel, by default, opens up while performing an operation that could be independent, especially in a custom workspace. To say another way, after the caption blocks are set from the transcript and text style, the only editing area that needs to be accessed is in the timeline (double clicking and/or rolling the caption blocks) and the text in the Program panel. There is no need for the Text panel and the Graphics panel to always be opened when editing captions. This can cause the playhead to freeze or skip, and by default overbloats the editing space (good thing I use a 42 inch long monitor!). After checking various toggles in Preferences, I could not find anything apparent, but is there a way to keep the Text panel and the Graphics panels 'closed closed'? There is no need for these to always be opened w
