Shot on Bolex @ 32fps instead of 24 - How do I convert to 24fps without slow motion/ fast shutter look?

Shot a music video where I need to sync sound @ 32fps instead of 24, when I got the scans back everything is slightly in slow motion, anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the footage to play at 24fps without slow motion and the jittery fast shutter speed look?

since the film was cranked at that speed, you can't simply change the speed without it looking jerky since any motion that would have happened at 24fps is going to be split into different movement chunks. You will need to interpolate with optical flow.

probably need more info. Are you talking about an old bolex that shot 16mm plastic film stock at 32 fps MOS ? And you want to convert the telcine to 24 fps ? And you want to sync it to some sound file ??

No clue what you looked at the 'scans' you got in... was that PPro in a 24fps timeline ??

maybe go with frame blending and some effect that makes it look like you did it 'on purpose' because it looked cool being all screwed up?
