the snapping in premiere pro is weaker than my will to live!

What is the point of having snapping thats so weak that you still have to line it up by eye? there literally no reason that it shouldnt be stronger since it can easily be turned off with a very easy to find bright blue button.

i am editing podcasts and live streams down to 10 minute youtube videos. the amount of times i hit undo after dragging everything left to fill the gaps ive cut is preposterous. 

this problem takes so much more time than writing this post when im making hundreds of cuts in a session.
