Specifications for OBJ /FBX import into Stager to retain materials and rig poses from Cinema 4D?I have scoured the internet, ask Adobe support...Facebook groups...  crickets...

Hello, i struggle with rendering a scene:Rendering is ok but i miss the layers with the material, mesh or depth maskings. The layers of the three are just black...I rendered an other just simple scene, and it worked well...Is ther a way to check what i might have done wrong?MacBook Pro M1, Monterey 12.6 , 16gb ram, Stager 1.3

Simple bottle with a label applied. I've tried every setting I can find, but I cannot eliminate the aliasing on the label edges/details. Substance 3d StagerMacBook Pro 2019, latest OS. 

When using Dimension, clicking on the gizmo handles allows for precise movement, which has been a critical part of my workflow. I work with hundreds—sometimes thousands—of elements arranged in specific patterns, which need to be moved in object space, not world space. Am I missing something, or is it not possible to do this in S3D Stager? 

Hi there,as new user on windows pc and after register with Adobe CC the Stager app with strange behavior.Stager will not read any file to place on model, I tried psd psb jpg file and always get error window, please see screenshot.What happens here? There was no problem at all before as (domain) user. Now I work as local user only.

Mais je voudrais savoir si Stager permet aussi d'obtenir un film dans cette disposition. Comment procéder alors ? An option to flip objects horizontally and vertically can be very helpful. Please add this feature into Stager.

I've built/lit a scene with physical lights that I'd like to save for future use, like some of the Environment light scenes. Is it possible to save/export the setup for a future project?Thanks,Jesse

Hello, I've just started using Stager, and I'm trying to figure out how to get the material to show up better upon rendering. It looks great in the 'real-time' render, but then doesn't show up at all in the final render. I just uninstalled and reinstalled, so all settings are default. Thank you!

Hi all, My mesh exported from Blender looks a bit strange in Stager interactive mode, this goes away in Raytracing.... Can I chage something so my mesh looks correct in interactive also? Thank you.  

Hi everyone! I've been having an issue and was wondering if anyone knew what the solution was: if I remesh something in Blender (Sculpting > Remesh) and bring that new model into Stager, the displacement doesn't quite work. I've attached a few images to show what I mean... This is a stock Blender sphere rendered in Stager. You can see the displacement working fine.  However this is what happens when I remesh that exact same sphere. Each polygon is behaving like a seperate mesh, completely seperated from each other. However I know that that's not the case, it's one solid, clean object with no overlapping vertices.  Has anyone seen this before? Any known workarounds?

Hello !In 3D Stager, I have one object in my scene. I duplicated the object, and it made the duplicate of the object with the same material I had added to the orgiinal object. ( So far so good ) I then tried to change the material on the second object ( a duplicate of that first object ) but --- it changes the material on my original object !I don't want this to happen, - any help appreciated ! I have seared high and low for an answer and cannot find a thing, thank you if you can help ! 🙂

Hello there! I'm an animator in the video games industry and photographer for fun. I recently found stager while trying to previs some of my photography ideas in 3d. However, there is a bit of a disconnect between how popular photography lights and modifiers work and how I can replicate those effects in Stager. If, for example, I could bring a 5' octobox into a scene with a 1000w bulb and 2 x 1stop baffled diffusion, I would have a very good idea of how the light is behving in 3d and the real world. Would it be possible to have a feature like this in the furture, or create those lights/assets in Substance 3D? I'm a bit of a noob. Any help/thoughts appreciated.  Eric

Hi, does anyone have any tips/tricks for creating atmosphere in Stager? I'm looking to include haze/fog or dust particles and have light interact accordingly.  Also, I've found that light and light reflections will always beam toward my camera as opposed to just affecting the scene as positioned. For instance, I have an ocean plane and I put a light over it beaming out in one direction. When I move my camera, the light does not continue to beam in that one direction, it just follows the lens. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks,  -A

Hi guys, i am trying to figure out how to add a selected object in my viewport to any of my libraries. The plus is greyed out and drag&drop doesn t do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello dear Community, I recently started using the program, and unfortunately, I have a problem.I'm not exactly sure what the problem is and how to fix it, but I'll attach photos to make it easier to understand. When I put together the scene in the design section, everything looked perfect, but when I started rendering, problems began. The final photo is unclear; grainy reflections are everywhere, and the colors are not as beautiful as in the preview.What can I do to improve the final product? Which options did I click wrongly?  

Hi everyone, I'm brand new to Stager and have read that it has its limitations with label quality and rendering but still hoping it might work for the current project I have going on. The only problem I'm having right now is the decal I'm importing and applying to a jar (cylinder) is "broken" or choppy in the back of the jar. The front of the jar (which is the front/middle of the design) looks fine but the two ends that wrap around the jar are broken. See example attached. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this? Not sure if it's an issue with the model or artwork but this happens with multiple different art files and I've tried both AI files and PNG. Thanks for any help.

If you're having this issue and cannot resolve it on your end, you're not alone.I called Adobe and their technician spent an hour uninstalling/reinstalling, using the creative cloud cleaner, app cleaners, they were givin control over my computer, uninstalled/reinstalled CC & Stager, tried logging in under a different log-in, they exhausted their solutions out and were not able to fix it.Adobe said they needed to escalate this issue to someone higher and that they will call back in 2 business days to see if a different technician could resolve the situation.

after i installed trail version of Adobe 3D stager i have this some weird screen issue is it only happening to me or is it randomly happening to the users

According to Adobe: Unfortunately, the team uncovered an engineering issue tied to Named User Licensing so Substance 3D apps are not broadly available to all Named User License customers at this time, and the solution will not be available to all such users this academic year. However, I have added ASU to the priority list for access and will keep you updated if anything changes.In the interim, if there are students and faculty who are not able to wait for the issue to be resolved, they can get free access to Substance through the link below, if they create a free Substance account: https://substance3d.adobe.com/education/ As far as I can tell, this simply requests a Substance3D edu license, which does NOT include Stager and doesn't seem to allow accessing any of the Adobe Substance 3D apps through the CC desktop app. I already have that edu license and it only includes Designer, Painter, and Alchemist.   My question is, how i
