I am setting up a scene to render on my iMac in my office, but the high resolution render keeps crashing after a couple of hours (and Stager 3D doesn't seem to have a recover/resume function).If I want to send the scene down to my beefier Windows machine in the basement (to maybe even render on the GPU if it's supported), is the save file all I need if I have imported models/textures/materials in the scene? Or do I need the whole folder hierarchy to be reproduced with all of my imported stuff in it?Thanks!

Hi allI have been through the help and contact avenues with no solution, I'm hoping someone can clear this up for me, please. INITIAL PROBLEMTo be able to import Solidworks CAD models into Adobe Stager. SOLUTIONI upgraded to teams enterprise plan to be able to import Cad files into Stager. NEW PROBLEMSStill unable to import CAD models after login in and out, reinstalling etc.Now I have two different accounts that I have to sign in and out of between individual plan and enterprise plan. I cannot use substance apps same time as all other apps. I canceled the enterprise plan out of frustration with online/phone assistance. Help! Pretty please. I just want to import Solidworks files into Stager. Surely this isn't too much to ask and was made available on the Beta Stager app. THANKS!  

Is there a way to export 3d models into GLB format without quality loss using Stager? Every time I export GLBs the textures are compressed resulting in the resolution being decreased by half, with a maximum resolution of 2K. Is there a way to export them with textures at least 4K? Would appreciate any thoughts on that! 

Hi again, 1, is there any way to check if a object is over/underexposed as in Photoshop?2, is there a way to change from the default sRGB workspace to AdobeRGB?3, is it possible to have 2 windows open (one with the camera view with ray tracing and another to arrange objects around)

One of the more disconcerting aspects of the Stager UI/UX for a designer used to working in Ps, Ai, Id, etc., is the keyboard shortcuts that don't work as expected. In particular, Alt (Option) drag is the universal quick way to copy an object. It works that way in Dimension. For no apparent reason, Stager switches to a (redundant) rotate mode, forcing a clumsy Copy/Paste as Instance or Duplicate followed by drag to position. We have "V" for the basic move tool, matching the design apps, but then there's "E" for Rotate and "R" for Scale, both of which defy logic. "W" selects the Magic Wand tool in Ai, Ps, Id and Dn, but not Stager, where it is "A." Before things become too entrenched, can the team reconsider the kbsc's globally and bring them back in line with the rest of the Creative Cloud apps? Hello everyone, I'm trying to export some 3D model from Stager to incorporate it with the "interactive media" tool of Acrobat. But every format of export seems to be incompatible. So I want to know what to do, which format of export from Stager can be used, or is the feature not possible / existing ? I'm using the Adobe Stager free trying actually, and I have the last updates on Adobe Acrobat. 

A few months ago I had the free trial version of Adobe Substance Stager and it worked fine. We recently decided to purchase the Adobe Substance plan, but now Stager no longer works on my computer. Whenever I open Stager, the viewport only shows a blank black screen. The toolbars are visible and working, but if I drag an object or material into the viewport, nothing happens. Also, I can only close the program by ending it via task manager.I am on a Windows 10 Home XPS 8900 with 16GB RAM and an Intel Core i7 processor and a Nvidia GeForce GT 730 graphics card with the Game Ready driver (there are no Studio Drivers available for this card). The Nvidia driver is up to date; Stager is up to date. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Stager multiple times, as well as trying older versions of Stager in case it was a problem with a recent update.  I am not sure if this is a compatability issue with my graphics card (which is rather old) or what. Any help/info is appreciate

I'm having problems getting my renders to complete. I keep getting the error message "A problem caused the application to stop working correctly." I need my final output to be in high resolution, however the small details like lighting acuracy aren't quite as important. I'm using the snapshot function to get files that will work for now. Any tips or settings that may help get a final render? iMac Pro (2017)Processor: 3 GHz 10-Core Intel Xeon WMemory: 32 GB 2666 MHz DDR4Graphics: Radeon Pro Vega 56 8 GB 

iMac 5k 27" 10-core i9, 128 DDR4, MacOS Big SurI had been working on a project in stager that I had brought over from Dimension (opened the dimension file in stager and then stave as stager file.sgg. I was working on modifying some materials applied to an object when the decals I had applied previously disappeared and a dialog box came up saying "A problem caused the application to stop working correctly"...I closed out stager and re-opened the file but the same dialog came up. in desperation I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled. Now the application seemingly hangs on opening with the splash screen saying "loading application..." for hours and hours on end.I am stuck with an expensive monthly fee and no Stager. Ideas?

Hey, I've been trying to stage furniture over empty photos used for real estate listings. Is there a way to make the shadows act as if there was a wall behind them without actually putting in a 3D rendered wall? See below, theres a picture of an outdoor scene I was working on. The shadows act as if theres just flat ground behind them because the scene isn't aware of the wall in the background photo. Any solutions?   

I bought this FBX. to be used for a client, which appears to be soft and round, and when placed into Stager the object becomes angular. Looking for some tips to make it soft again, let me know! Images attached of goal verse rendering. 

I'm struggling to figure out a way to change the color of materials like glass, water, beer and hard plastic. IS there a work around to be able to change the color of these materials? Thanks!

I imported an .obj model with many layers and was able to apply materials and colors to my layers with no issues.  Our render looks great.  But now I need to apply an image to one of the layers.  I tried using the graphic "decal" option in materials but the image appears distorted (I had tried this in Dimension also, but had the same result).  I found another option, applying the image as a background (in the base color section).  The image now appears normal instead of distored, but I can't figure out how to resize to fit the model.  I've tried both .ai and .psd files of the same image and result is the same.

Hi,   New to the 3D-world. Is it possible in Stager to have a meterial that have bumps outside of the object. For example I want a cube with paint on it that should look like a rough roller painted it. I tried to have that effect on this stone but the top is smooth, but i want it to have texture on the outside.   Is this possible?

I tried everything and still can't render in Substance 3D Stager without it crashing, have no idea what I'm paying for if can't use software to complete projects. I have a 12th gen intel with RTX 3070ti, its a msi notebook. I sent an email for the first to support last weekend and still haven't received a reply of a fix after sending my log info.

Even though several users probably have the problem, unfortunately none of the suggested suggestions fixed the problem for me. I cannot use the GPU rendering. I have a Nvidia Quadro t1000 max-q in my Windows laptop. I would be very happy if you could help me.Also, the program crashes when I try to render without the GPU.I also checkt my driver ist the news version.Best regards

please, help, some custom 3D files for materials or models haven't got a preview icon. I would like to see a preview for every .sbsar and .fbx files on Substance 3D Stager, Dimension and so on...I hope there be a way or they could soon update the programs to do so. Thanks a lot,Salvo

Hi, as I open the trial version of 3D stager it seems work. But, as I insert a simple model, like the ones already included in the program (like cube, sphere, etc.), the program stops to work: I can do anything, even close the program. Please, can you help me in fixing the issue? Thanks!

hi,I would like to use the material named "Silicon Shiny Print" in Substance 3D Stager, but I can't change the default text ("Your Text").In the preference there is a menu to choose the text option, but a "Text" field should also appear where you can change the default text, but I don't see it here... What am I wrong? Thank you,Salvo

Hello, I'm trying to import texture from the adobe library that are around 300MB in size, there is no loading bar and nothing happens, this is extremely frustrating

I am trying to export an image with a glass lens. I only need the image, not the background. In Stager, my background is white. When I export it to Photoshop, I can remove the white background layer, but the glass portion is no longer transparent. It still shows the white background through the glass. Is there a way to keep the true transparency of glass in the rendered image? Thank you.
