Hi,I'm having issues getting Substance 3D stager to consistently work. I'm not sure if my files are too large (100mb-200mb), or if my computer specs arn't up to scratch. I've got an i9, 32gb ram with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. Ever time I create a slightly more complex file, it crashes and then seems to corupt that file to the point where I can't open it again (It just shows the loading screen indefinetly). I've downloaded the NVIDIA Studio Driver as recommended, and I've even created another user profile on my computer (As recommended by the chat support as the fix to the issue).  I have no issues with other rendering programmes, so can you please let me know if there is any additional drivers/patches that will help it run more smoothly.

Hello and good day 🙂 So in Adobe Dimension I was able to add more than one graphic to an object. Is this something that can't be done with Stager? I only appear to get the option to add a single graphic.  Thanks, James

Hi! Its the second time for me this happens. And I dont know why. When I click on "Create new" Ill get to the "design" page. But the background is all black and Im missing the checkerboard pattern so I can not start working with my 3D file. Why is that? 

Hey, I am a long time user of Painter and I finally downloaded Stage to test. I went through the tour and tried to render the final default scene, it never finished. I thought oh well, maybe this is too heavy for my GPU so I went back for a clean scene and added only a backdrop and a plane. I am trying to render in 512, max time 60 scs, full res. It simply never ends. My screen is showing me the "it can take some time etc" warning and the render never completes after several minutes.Bit disappointing.I have just read the forum posts and went to check my NVidia drivers, they are all up-tp-date.Anyone knows what could be causing the render to never finish?Tks!

Stager Photoshop render file contains a "Depth Information" layer. If I make 'changes' in the Depth Information layer?   How to I reapply this depth info change back in the rendered output layer?

When rendering with 450+ samples, i get white boxes in some of my renders. Not sure but i think these white boxes are "cameras" These white boxes are not an issue when rendering in lower quality. This makes me render all my content in low quality. I'd like to figure out why this issue exists. 

Hello,  I would like to make a moon in Stager. I have downloaded the color and displacement maps from this site: https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/details.cgi?aid=4720 I had successfully made detailed looking moons in Photoshop before they got rid of the 3D features. Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me seem to figure out how to:A) fit the map to a sphere without it looking stretchedB) if I apply a height/displacement/bump map to nearly anything in Stager, it comes out looking clumpy and absurd  I would greatly appreciate some guidance. Hi. Is there a way to applky images to basic shapes, such as spheres, generated in Stager? Is there a way to turn shapes into models or something? Thanks very much.

Two questions on working sith Substance Designer Materials:  I've built a set of materials in Designer and saved them out as a .SBS file. Unfortunately when I drag this into Stager, it only recognizes the first material in the list. Is there some way to get Stager to recognize the full material set I created in the .SBS? Barring that, I have exported each material as an .SBSAR file. This is not ideal, but at least works. Below you can see where I have added a custom MATERIAL_LIBRARY with the subcategory of PAINT. Is there some way to generate or set a preview sphere of the material instead of the SBSAR icon? This is going to be extraordinarily difficult for my designers to sift through 75 different paints without any kind of preview:  

Hi! What is going on with Substance Stager? it's ridiculous!! There are too many bugs it's becoming impossible to work. I cannot save documents, everytime I try to save a new DCXTMP file is created prompting me an error. I'm using Dropbox to store my files, could this be the problem?

Hello. I have an issue with black boxes appearing when my render is complete (see attached). These do not appear when render is in progress only when completed. Im using a Mac Pro (2019) with AMD Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GB graphics card. Please advise 

Is there a way to knockout shapes in stager to create new compounds like the pathfinder options in Illustrator? Ex. I have a wall and want to knockout a space for a window.

Stager is not opening and shows this error. The latest version of Stager is installed. I'm using a MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Max with 64GB of memory.

HII have an issue when i open (or import) previously created files in Dimension into stager - that you get an excessive amnount of cameras - 99% of which arent actually in the file originally (they must be default ones) and they may the file really slow to do anything, and when i try to delete them after a while Stager crashes, IS there someway to turn these off or stop these unnecessary cameras from being imported. This is really buggy ans stager should be able to handle bringing in a dimesion files. Help please.  

Please add feature to:   1.Add the same image into different selected maps (normal. metallic.. etc). That can be done with additional windows or panel where we can choose certain map that we need.  2. Ability to have link maps. That will allow to simultaneously custom them at once for different maps window for several properties.

Hello, I have this problem with both stager and dimension while with other remote adobe applications they work fine.The strange thing is that if I start the application from the computer and leave it open and move to the notebook remotely it works perfectly. As soon as I close it and try to reopen it from the laptop remotely, the application opens, I see everything except the grid and the contents in the working window. I have in both machines the minimum requirements, updated the graphics card drivers, tried to disconnect the monitor of the main pc ... nothing. I await some suggestions to solve the problem. Often I have a strange bug that happens when I work with Stager. I am not able to open menus on control bar  after clicking with mouse. (ex. File, Object, etc.) It happens not only for Stager app but with others also.  The solution is to log out and log in into my windows 11 account. Would be interesting to know do anyone catch such a bug?

Uniquely among apps, Stager (possibly other Substance 3D apps, I haven't checked) completely fails to implement the standard Windows kbsc UI components.  [Alt]+[letter] is a convention that opens a top-level menu in virtually every PC app; it even predates Windows. [Alt+F] usually opens the File menu, [Alt+E] the Edit menu, etc. Pressing [Alt] on its own shows underscores on the key character of each top-level menu item (File, Edit, etc.) so that pressing that character opens the associated menu. How does one create a spherical light source? I would like to create a sphere which radiates light and glows. Suppose I import a simple landscape photograph of a field as a background. I then create a sphere hovering above the landscape, and now I need the sphere to glow and illuminate the landscape. I would like the light to emenate from the center of the sphere. Thank you!

hi,is Substance 3D Stager useful for game developing? (as other in the adobe pack) there could be issues about license if using 3D stager default assets even if it's already bought? for a solo-game developer what type of package i have to choose? (team or alone users)?   

Hi! I'm new using Stager, but I've used Dimension in the past. I have a request at my job to make an LED screen, I did it last december with Dimmension and just adding Glow with no problem.But I don't know how to do this on Stager, because if I add emision to an object, it becomes white glowing but I cannot see the image. I imported the .dn file into stager but if I change the colors picture for another one, it doesn't reflect the changes, it maintains the colors picture.This is what I could do but it's not "turned on", this has an emision of 0.25. Other Adobe programs run on the same machine, as they should*, but Stager doesn't allow me to log in.  (Stager is a bit buggy in general, and not just because I use it on an old machine.)

  Hello,First Dimension stopped working, now Stager stopped working. It does not open its own documents after saving - all of them. Reinstalling the application and the whole CC package does not help. The error keeps popping up and is impossible to work around. A week of work is gone.Both programs work and function, but after saving and closing they do not open their own files - no matter what they are, even empty ones. This also applies to a newly created document - I open the program, create a new document, save.
