New CPD File - 100s of broken links

I'm using RoboHelp 8 and my CPD file keeps getting bigger and bigger (~16,000KB). If I delete it and open the .xpj file, the CPD is smaller (~1,800KB), but 100s of links are broken.

I tried selecting the Options > General > Clear project cache (.cpd) before opening any project setting, but the same thing happens.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Debbie

I justed wanted to add that by broken links I meant that in the Project Manager under the "Broken Link" folder, there are 100s of .html files that need to be restored.

Deleting the CPD file should not on its own create broken links. Were you doing any moving / renaming / deleting of files beforehand?

I did move the files off of the network, which did not help the problem.

I then moved it back on the network.
