I am trying to right click on a comp and open it in the essential graphics panel. The option is greyed out. What works is to use the dropdown Master (Select a composition) menu in the Essential Graphics panel, but if you have many comps, this is almost impossible to use.Is it because I am using Team Projects this isn't working? Thanks! kind regard, Kjetil
I've been working with Team Projects for about two months now. Today all of the video media suddenly went offline. Nothing has changed on my computer that would explain this. I'm still using the same external drive with the same files as I have been. My computer is a Mac OS 10.11.6, and I'm working with Premiere Pro CC 12.0.1. I tried Edit>Team Project>Media Management, nothing happened when I clicked on New Media Mapping, or Edit Media Mapping. I also tried shutting down the program and relaunching, and switching my external drive to a different port on my computer. It still shows the video media offline. I'm using proxies from Red footage. I was having trouble sharing changes yesterday, and had to shut down and relaunch several times, but other than that I can't figure out why this is happening.
I cannot use your suggested fix as I am working within team projects and cannot create a new project every single time Premiere has a glitch which is every single day with 2018. A team project is created and worked in by multiple users in multiple remote locations, This "fix" is not acceptable.
Hallo,I'm encountering bugs with Premiere Pro CC 2018 again and again.. And since it's super annoying to hang on the adobe support phone line for minutes just to report them. I'm now rather putting them in here.First:I can't use the label option in a Premiere Pro Team Project properly. It always colours the whole Audio, and not just parts of it (as it does in normal Premiere Pro projects - there I can for example make a cut, and just color part of an audio)Second:I'm using the parametric equaliser in the audio track mixer window of premiere pro.And after a while it has a bug which doesn't let me move the settings anymore. When I take out the effect and put it in again I can move them, but after a while (I believe from I start the audio once on... it has that bug)Does anyone know how to fix this, or any way I can forward these bugs to Adobe other than calling the support? Thanks already!Bernhard
The concept of team projects has been something I've been waiting for a long time. There haven't really been any other viable solutions other than Avid, so I'm glad adobe is finally stepping up. I never tried it in the beta phases, as I couldn't rely on software in a professional setting that wasn't stable yet. Now, it seems like they've begun to work out some of the kinks and I have a few questions.Regarding the files being hosted on adobe's servers:I've heard some stories of people getting stuck in a "limbo" sort of state, where they can't save or access the project since there were issues with the adobe servers.See this article:The Fatal Flaw in Adobe Premiere Team Projects and Why Frame.io is DAF - It Ain't Easy Being an Adobe Pimp — Dare Cinema I'm curious to know if Adobe has addressed these workflow issues? How do backups work, is there a way to have local autosave files in the case that there are issues with the cloud, what is the comparable failsafe like simple autosave files
Hi! I had this issue before but with a regular project. It was solved by deleting cache from Premiere and Encoder, but it seems like it doesn´t work for Team Projects. All assets for the project are online, if I export through Premiere the render outputs fine, but when queuing into Media Encoder, it doesn´t work.Everything is rendered as offline mediaI tested both regular and team Projects and they work fine, is just this particular one. I saved a copy of the project and it didn´t work, same problem. Made a brand new team project, imported clips from Media Browser but it didn´t let me import sequences, and when trying to copy clips from the source sequence to a brand new sequence, it says "the operation could not be completed due to insufficient system memory". I´m on a Mac Pro, with 26 GB of RAM assigned to Adobe. I made a reset of NVRam and no luck either. Am I missing something? Thanks
Hello there, this issue is driving me off the wall and is a show stopper at the moment."Synchronization Failure - The Project could not be synchronized due to a network error. Please try to open the Team Project again". I cant load the project at all, it gets stuck on the "Loading Project and user session descriptions" Now, before you ask, we have checked all network connections and permissions, IT says it all checks out.I am on Windows 10 Enterprise v1703intel Xeon CPU E5-1620 v3 @ 3.50GHz64.0 GB RAM64-bit Operating system, x64-based ProcessorI have uninstalled and reinstalled all CC products.I am working on a PC my other team members are working on Mac. Yesterday one of the syncs on the MAC failed in mid sync. We tried to rebuilding the Cache and Local Hub folders, once we did this and restarted on the MAC, I was getting the same issue on that system as well. We restored the old folders and the project was able to load again. This isn't the case for the PC. I have run out of id
Under the Adobe Licensing agreement you are allowed 2 installs for each login. I am wondering how this works with Team Projects, will it respect this same principle? For example:I am working at the office under my Adobe Login. I then head home to finish up the amazing work. At home, using my same Adobe Login as the office, I make some revisions. When I share these up to the cloud, will this hose my project in some way. Is Team Projects smart enough to differentiate between these changes made in 2 locations under the same login? Thanks everyone.Thought I would ask here before I go and just break stuff on my own.
Hi there,I'm currently trying to open an old team project (from summer/fall 2017) and I cannot seem to get it to open up. It usually will get stuck on the status bar for the first four "loading" sections but never make it past that. After about 2-3 minutes, it closes and goes back to the previous screen. All that I really what to do is get a copy of the final project so I can back it up. It's a pretty extensive project so any help recovering this project would be appreciated. Other team projects have been able to open up just fine. Thanks!
Hellow to Teamwork supportMy needsI need to upload a large number of independent AE template files to the Team projects to adjust them with other creators in Team project platform. After one of the members make the requiring adjustment, I need to be the only person that can download the final version of the team workspace. So my question as follows:1. Can I control that no team member can copy, download any of the materials I upload at any giving time?2. Can any member work on the templates with the plugs I have on my PC?3. How many members can I add?4. Is the Team project is a secure space for me to upload all my templates and share the workspace?5. Is there any storage limitation on the account?6. can I terminated the monthly subscription at any time?I thank you in advance for the answers.Lior
I want to access the autosaved versions of my Premiere Team projects, but I don't have an option for Browse Versions or Browse Auto-Saves as I believe I should have in a Team project. I appreciate any help, thanks![Moved from regular Premiere Pro to the Team BETA forum... Hi, I want to send a sequnece non-destructivly from Premiere Pro to Audition but I can only send clips. I select the sequence in the project panel then go to "edit>Send to Audition" but the whole option is greyed out. When I select a single Clip in the Sequence I can go to "edit>send to aution>clip" but of course "sequnce" is greyed out. What's wrong with me? Potentially going to start using the team collaboration in Premiere to edit a full length doc with 12 TB of 4k rushes. Can premiere handle as a team project one that will have a lot of sequences and a lot of bins by the end? Anyone got any real world experience?Seems like it was really buggy when it came out but has settled down, am I right ?
I have tried everything,Via dynamiclink or copy paste: when I try to import in After fx a secuence from Premiere Team Project all media dissapear and a new one with strange names imposible to link open an unreadable composition. Bringing the secuence straight I can see the video in one layer, not the shots.XML is not an option, same problem.EDL with a full Documentary is crazy.PLEASE, does anybody found a Workaround to solve this problem? Am I doing something wrong?I am guest in the Project and we are working with local storage, mirrored Disk , one in Usa and the other in Germany. Everything was happiness until we wanted to test some postpros in AE...Thanks for helping...
After setting up a team project, I attached proxies to all my 4K footage. It looks great and I like that I can use the on/off switch to work with proxies yet also see the RAW. However, after doing research, I have learned the dangers of committing 100% to the Beta team project and decided it would be safer for us to do a regular project. The problem is when I "convert team project to project", the proxies are no longer attached to the clips and if I go to look at the clip properties, the proxies are gone. Please advise![Moved to correct forum... I created a team drive project a couple months ago. It's been smooth sailing and the project is in final review.Today, during a review meeting, when I launched Premiere Pro, the project does not show up. I see I am logged into premiere pro, the project assets are in cretive cloud, but the activity tab shows a date stamp of October 24, 2017, and a never ending wait animation, that never seems to time out.My only other colleague on the project says he can open the project but a bunch of assets are offline.Does anyone know what this failure is, and how to recover from it?the only changes to my machine were an update to OS X High Sierra from Sierrra, but I seem to recall the project has been opened once since that update.I really don't want to have to edit this whole timeline from scratch again.
Hello,I am having trouble relinking media in a Premiere Pro Team Project. My company flew in a freelance editor to help with a project and he's only here this week. I have a 2 computer license and so I wanted to see if we could both be signed into my account on different computers and both have access to the Team Project. The Team Project had already been created by a different user. We have separate hard drives with identical file structure of the Media that needs to be linked. When we signed on to the Team Project on the 2nd computer, he "Offlined" all the media so that he could relink to his hard drive. This was not working and so we figured we couldn't both be signed in the same team project on the same Adobe account. We got him a new license and he was able to join the team project and link media. However, back on my computer, my media is offline and cannot be relinked, even though it was previously working fine. It seems that I am only able to r
I currently have 24 team projects that are not accessible. They are all from before October 4th, 2017. The team projects created beyond that date are fine, and any team project I create now will open fine. If I try to open one of the affected team projects, it brings up the small window that says "Loading Team Project" and gives the elapsed time and a progress bar (as it normally would). However, I've waited hours before and the window will just hang and never open the project - even with small project files that would typically open in a couple seconds or less. I created most of the team projects, but a colleague created others. Neither of us are able to access the same 24 projects.I've been on and off the phone with Adobe customer support the whole time. My case is still open and has been escalated, but on four separate occasions they've promised me a return call from the "senior team", and on all four occasions, the window in which they said they would call passed, and I was forced
My team and i recently began a team project - but then I had to go on the road so cloned the drive while one editor continued editing so that I could also work (in the jungle away from internet). When I returned (and before went on the road again) I converted the project to a regular project. (not team) This morning in a rush to deliver the project I saved the project to the shared NAS storage at my office. I also redirected the Media cache and Media files cache to the NAS. This afternoon I started getting 'Error while writing to drive' warnings. And then 'Disc Error while writing to file' and then 'Error while trying to access drive'So I closed down and reopened. And now all my media is offline. When I highlight the clips and attempt to relink the clips, the usual like-for-like (can't find x, relink to X) that usually results in Premiere automatically relinking ALL the files DOES NOT WORK - because it's trying to link the file (with a regular name) to what i can only imagine are Media
So I'm running through the idea of introducing team projects at work and trying to see where there might be potential issues. One of the things I've come up against is how people are able to become collaborators on projects.Hypothetically, if the project owner is absent, or no longer works at our company - how would a new team member access the projects? Is there a way to have a default group maybe where everyone on the team has access to all shared projects? Also, I'm a bit worried about how our shared projects are organised in the browser - will it always just make a big list of projects that you are a collaborator on? Or is there a way that you'd be able to browse for projects in the usual way and click on a project file to open it?
HiCan someone help me with Team Projects for Premiere Pro?I have been struggling to get things working in our team. I have two of us working on a project. I have uploaded my proxy files to my creative cloud online folders. But I cannot seem to add my colleague as a team collaborator.I get this error:an error occurred while renewing the access token used for communicating with the Team project serviceSo now only I can work on it locally...when I try to invite my colleague it tries to add him for ages but then returns with a fail.It tells me to restart the application, but this doesn't do anything. Please advise.ThanksMax[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from regular Premiere Pro to Premiere Pro for Teams... When two different members are editing the same project separately, if they use the same name for each of their hard drive (with all footages in, same folder structure), would this help avoid relinking problem, because the path of footages are the same?
I've been having issues with a Team project, it wasn't sharing for some reason, but other than that was working ok and saving on my machine fine. A couple of days ago it crashed and since then I have not been able to reopen it, when it tried to load up it will just take me back to this screen.I can also not open it when trying to access it from Media browser and although there is a log of all of the autosaves, there is nothing in the autosaves. I've tried a few ways of trying to restore the project including using the TeamProject recovery, but have had no luck. Is there any other ways to save this project??
Hello, The scenario: Two editors on a team project. OSX and Windows10. Both have the source material on local drives. Everything worked so far. Now my editor has 700 clips offline. Random it seems. No luck relinking filepaths in the teamproject media window. it now shows parts of one footage drive "Offline: Not usable Media connection" (I have to translate it from the german version, sorry). Adding a new filepath does not change anything. When I look at the clip preferences it says Offline: Importer can not be opened. When I try to reconnect or even replace the clip manually Premiere won't let me. "General Error". We deleted (backup before) the team project hub folder. nothing. jumping back to previous versions of the project shows the files offline as well.Picturelock in three days. The project works on one machine perfectly on the other one not. There is not even the chance to relink files manually!Help
