Hi all,I was excited a while back to hear Adobe was working on this feature, and finally in the Premiere Pro 2017 we have team editing.Has anyone tried this new feature? Are you finding it effective? Are there limitations? One of my concerns is the time lag of uploading changes to Creative Cloud to serve to other editors on your team. For big projects, I could see it taking more than a few minutes for changes to circulate. Unfortunately, I am not a CC Business subscriber so I can't test myself at the moment.
So my friend and I are trying to work on a project together. We already uploaded the media to the creative cloud, so we both have the same footage. The only problem comes when we try sharing the changes made on the project. Once we hit, "Share changes", all we get is the shared footage into the media browser but not the changes we make into the timeline. Matter fact, the timeline is blank. Is there something we're not doing/doing wrong? Do we have to edit different parts of the project into another "main" project? Am I completely wrong for thinking this would work in any way like google docs?
I am working in a team project, and it has seemingly deleted multiple sequences on it's own. The sequences no longer show up in previous versions or auto saves either. I've even done testing of creating a sequence and publishing it, then deleting it and publishing it, to see if it would show up on a previous version. And it did, which tells me it was not accidently deleted by an editor. There are also a few sequnces that are now completely blank in all versions of the team project, even though they had been worked in with plenty of media in the previous month. This is now the second team project that this has happened. This is for a big client and the missing sequences had massive changes that they want to keep going with. What the heck is this glitch and how can I recover my sequence?
Hi, i've recently started a Team Project in After Effects, (I did it mainly because i wanted to work on a project on two different computers, depending on if i'm in the office or working from home, i have never used the feature before) so i imported some files from my drive and everything works fine for those, but i dragged some files from my creative cloud library and every time i restart After Effects, the files from CC Libraries are missing and cannot relink them, i have to drag them again only for them to dissapear again when i reopen the project. Its the same account in both computers and so far i've only tested this in one of the two, so is there a way to either fix this "missing footage" problem or relink the files with ease? I dont know what to share, so i'll paste a screenshot of the file on CC Libraries and another of the missing file in the project folder.I hope someone can help me to resolve this, i dont want to have to relink the file every time i reopen or convert th
Having a problem with Markers disappearing when working in a team project. My collaborator will make markers on the source media, update it, and I will see it briefly but then they disappear for all of us. Based on some earlier threads it seems like this was a bug issue at one point. What is the cause of this? Can I retrieve the markers? XMP preferences are unchecked for all of us. I've also looked through the auto-saves and don't see them. No one is importing new media so I don't think that there are new clips overwriting the old ones.
Hello, I have two PCs and I subscribed to Teams Project to make use of both PCs at the same time for editing and rendering. I have two accounts so I log in as different users on two different PCs. When I finish editing a clip on my first PC, I publish changes then switch to my second PC to render the clip so that I can continue editing other clips on my first PC. I also use the second PC for time and memory consuming effects such as Color Balance, Warp Stabiliser etc. This allows me to work on clips concurrently and use all hardware resources concurrently. This saves a lot of time. However since the sequence is locked, I cannot work concurrently on the same sequence so I create separate sequences for each clip. The problem comes when I try to combine all sequences in a single final sequence which I will export. Rendered previews disappear when I combine all therefore I cannot use previews during export. How should I keep rendered previews and use them during ex
My team and I recently updated Premiere and it rolled out some new Team Project features that have drastically hindered our workflow. We work with a lot of multi-cam sequences/syncmaps and with the new "Sequence Locking" feature, we've now found it impossible to work out of the same syncmap (creating ins/outs, adjusting gain, etc). Our only workaround is to duplicate the sequences and designate a timeline to each editor, but it's a messier solution than we hoped for. Is there any way to disable this feature and go back to the "resolve conflicts" feature that existed prior to the update?
Deleted Linked Comp in AfterEffects, Premier Pro Project disappeared in Teams Project. How do I recover that team project? I didn't publish when everything disapeared (weeks of work). I closed premier, opened but it still didn't show anything.
Hello, I'm currently working in a Team Project with about 10k assets, shared with 3 collaborators. I've had to restore a few sequences from prior versions over the past few weeks and the duplicate sequences/media have been piling up. Yesterday, I consolidated all the duplicate media via the somewhat functional "Consolidate Duplicates" option in the Edit menu. Since then, whenever I make a small change, I go to share changes and the dialog window wants me to approve 100's of unrelated assets as changes. Example- I'll make a small change to a selects sequence (change sequence timecode). When I try to share this change, the share changes window will display 100's of untouched assets with "edit" under the action column. This has only started happening since consolidating duplicates and is making sharing much more cumbersome with longer wait times. Can anybody advise as to why this is happening/ how to fix?
This is the first time we have used team project internally and I have just encountered this error. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling After Effects, taking plugins out, restarting our Macs, Signing out of Adobe ID. Nothing works yet two people in the office can load the project up and I started the project in the first place. See below for screen shots. After preparing team project for editing. The following error appears;Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Hi all, So far, all of our editors have primarily been silo'd in their own verticals in our team, specializing on certain types of contnet. I'm working on broadening the team and introducing more collaborative workflows. So, we're embracing Team Projects. This is also coinciding with our on-site servers being moved to cloud storage (hence another reason for moving to Team Projects.) When someone creates a Team Proejct, the project is created in the cloud. What happens if they stop working for the company, and we don't have access to the CC account. IT has a policy of shutting down accoutns ASAP. If they've invited anyone else to the project, I'd assume it's still available to everyone invited to it. But if they didn't invite anyone to it, is the project lost at that point unless we can get access to their CC account? Also, when these projects are saved to the CC , does that go against the storage limit for your CC account? The project files are tiny, so I'm sure it'
Hi,I'm working on a teams project that over the last two days has dropped it's autosaving feature. It's been set to autosave every 10 minutes but it's now gone hours without saving. We've managed this by saving as a new project locally to servers but would be keen to hear from anyone else if they've had a similar issue and found a solution? Please let me know if you want more info, I'm happy to discuss in more detail. Thank you,Joe
For some reason, Premiere Pro wants me to commit footage repeatedly, although I have already committed those clips right at the beginning. Can someone explain why this is the case? Does this have anything to do with my local footage references? I am using an external hard drive. Due to constant problems, this is very unsettling and we don't know if we want to continue with the team project at all. I wish Premiere Pro showed exactly what was changed and why it must be published.
the past 2 days ive been working in a team project. I drag in media from the GRaid into premiere and put it on my timeline. Come back the next day and its offline. I right click and choose relink and I point the computer to where the file lives. (same place as yesterday). After I point it to the file it remains offline..... Then I right click and choose replace and designate the same file to replace it with.... it continues to stay offline.... When I start up the project it doesnt even warn me that these files are offline. this is not normal. And the werd part is: the relinking window was telling me the files lived in a folder called 03 PULLS when I had never put them in there to begin with, the files have always lived in a folder called 01 SOURCE. So then I would drag the files from the external hard drive into premiere and manually swap out the offlinen versions with the online versions. Come back the next day and they're offline again. The only fix I found was to take the files on t
can the same adobe user use a premiere team project on separate computers at the same time without running into major issues? (separate operator on the 2 computers) we have a Premiere team project that me and my coeditor are using. So that's 2 people already. I wanted to put a 3rd person on our Premiere team project. Let's refer to this person as Logger. I suggested that we add the logger's email address to the teams project, but my coworker opted for the following: Have the logger use Coworker's laptop that already has Coworkers license on it. And Coworker will use their own desktop computer with the exact same license. (And I had my own personal license that was separate from Coworker's license on my own computer). So now Coworker and Logger are working at the same time, in the same project, same license, but DIFFERENT SEQUENCES and separate computers. And coworker started to run into the following issues:first Premiere told Logger that I was editing their sequence (Which
Has anyone run into this bug recently where you go to a video file in your bin in Premiere and right clicked on it and choose "reveal in finder" and it points to a music track on your external hard drive instead of the actual video file that you're looking for? I've ran into this a handful of times on premiere (normal/local premiere project file) and then yesterday on a Team version of a premiere project file. I've come across this bug sporatically not just on my iMac desktop but yesterday on imac laptop. and I'm pretty sure I've seen this bug on the last 2 versions of premiere. Does anyone know how to fix this? Current laptop specs:premiere 23.5.0 (build 56)mac os ventura 13.4.116-inch, 2023 Macbook Pro
The company I work for edits their shows using team projects. We've recently run into an issue in which an editor was let go and no longer has an adobe log in. He had unshared changes before he left and we thought to just remove him as a collaborator. Unfortunately he was the owner of the project and we are looking to change ownership or find another way to remove him from the project. Anyone have a workaround for this?
I need to open a team project but I am unable to open it on my PC. It freezes during the processing of the loaded elements ("Geladenen Elemente werden verarbeitet" / "loaded elements are processed"). I now tested it on my weak notebook and could open it without problems. I have deleted the cache and the team project hub folders but it didn't help. I also tried to load it on a different windows account but this didn't work either. What can I do to get the project working again so I can continue working with the rest of the team? I was reading up on team projects for creative cloud and it seems like a very useful option for me and my coworker. However, I saw that in order to invite the person to work on your project, you invite them using their adobe ID email. The problem is that we use the same adobe account on different computers which the company has provided. Before I sign up for creative cloud, I want to make sure this won't be a problem to share with the same email. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks
I have been trying to get a team projects invite from my client and I'm unable to do so. This has also impacted file sharing and other things. It seems to only occur with this one person, works fine for everyone else. Me and this client are under the same team projects license, maybe this has something to do with that. Any advice or a fix would be greatly appreciated.
I created a team project to enable remote collaboration for my team, as we are located in different states. I shared the team project and its associated clips with them. These clips are stored in the cloud and have been shared with the team. However, when they attempt to open the project, they encounter an issue where the sequence appears in red. Despite having shared all the files with them, Adobe is unable to locate them. I'm wondering if I made a mistake or missed a step. Our intention is not to edit the project simultaneously. We simply want the team to have access to the project, allowing multiple people to view our work and make edits if necessary.
I have a template from Artlist as a local project that I am trying to copy parts of into a Team project. It does not seem to be working. Computer:Windows 10Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900X CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHzNVIDIA RTX A4000 16GB DP*4 Graphics Card64.0 GB of RAM Premiere Version: Premiere Pro v23.5
There's a folder within Team Projects Local Hub called "synchronized" which is taking up over 100 gb of space. What is this folder? Can I delete its contents?
I was working within a team project yesterday and then the program crashed on me. When going back into Premiere and trying to open the Team Project again, it goes through the first few steps but then gets stuck on "Processing Loaded Assets" and never moves past it. I've tried loaded previous versions and it happens to. I've tried reverting to an older version of Premiere and it doesn't work either. And, I've also tried renaming the Team Projects Local Hub folder. None of this things have resolved the problem. Are there any other things I can try?
Hi! I keep getting this error when opening team project. I've tried going through the media browser route but it also just crashes, any thoughts or advice would be great! My PP version is up to date as well as my mac. I have also tried restarting. [Moderator note: moved to best forum.]
