I was editing a pdf and after saving it it no longer lets me edit the fields that I have to fill in.It's also cutting off my text so I can't see what I have written.I think I was doing it within Firefox at the time. Any ideas how I can make it editable and recover the missing text?

Hello, community.  I use three PCs on a daily basis: a personal laptop, a personal desktop, and a work laptop. I use Adobe CC on my personal laptop and desktop, and my work laptop is primarily for email—which includes viewing PDFs using Acrobat Reader.  When I first set up my work laptop, Adobe Reader prompted me to log into my Adobe account, which I did absentmindedly. It then detected my subscription and offered to upgrade my copy of Acrobat Reader to a full version of Acrobat. I knew I was only allowed to install CC on two computers, but I went ahead with this, hoping perhaps I could move just my Acrobat license to my work PC and keep using the other CC apps on my personal PCs. And if not, surely the upgrade was reversible, right? Turns out, no, I can only use Acrobat on my work PC if I log out of all Adobe apps on one of my other PCs. Fair enough. Hi, I purchased the license last month, and until recently, everything was working fine. However, I have now received an email stating that user no longer have access to the application. When I log into my Adobe account, the license has completely disappeared from my account dashboard. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter urgently and restore access to the application, as we rely on it for my daily work.

I have a series of documents that are used regularly, that have four pages in the middle that contain text fields for the user to add information (all other pages have fields too, but those will always be filled out and will always need to be printed).  Each document is 15-20 pages long and the four pages I'm concerned with are in the middle somewhere (for this example, we can say they are pages 3,4,5, and 6).  If a user fills out the form but only needs to complete pages 3, and 4, is there a way to make a print button that will print every page except the two pages with text fields that have no user data (in this case, pages 5 and 6)?  I'm trying to avoid having users print two pages without data, and also trying to avoid users having to go to  the organize pages tool and delete pages before printing.  I know they could choose print page range and choose to print pages 1-4 and 7-15, but they won't.  I'm just hoping someone has a print button that avo

Hi there,I'm an academic and I have been using Acrobat for years without any problems. One thing that I do is that I have a database of articles and will use Acrobat to search for keywords. Up until recently I had no issues, but no wI get this message. "Search has skipped *** files because either these files are corrupt or you don't have permissions to open them".  I've tried everything to get this working again, but it just won't which is really problematic for me. Here are some things that I tried: I extracted one file to test it on just one file - didn't work.I can open this one file - so it can't be corrupt and I have permission, right?I made sure that the file wasn't on iCloud, just in case.Checked for updates. Any ideas? All I can think of now is the recent Mac OS update. Would really love a solution... Sam

How can I clean up the Document Properties of a pdf? Under the Description tab, I want to remove the Title, Author, Subject and Keywords info and under the Custom tab, I want to remove the Name and Value information. I'm looking for an automated process because I usually have dozens of pdfs that need to be cleaned up.

Can I turn off the "View Summary" prompt without turning off generative AI features in Acrobat? I would like to leave generative AI features on, but I don't need to be reminded every single time I open Acrobat that they exist.

Hi everyone, sorry for my bad english. I'm using a specific form everyday at job with ACROBAT PRO to collect some datas.I spend too much time to complete it and take photos to go with. Actually, I would like to link a button to a script that launches an specific APP like the native microsoft camera (or else) to save some time. The idea is to save some time to attach my form and some photos to make a complete report and save it in my folders. Is this possible ?  (Obviously, the perfect thing for me would be to get a button that launch camera and attach the image by itself inside the pdf, but i think ACROBAT cannot do this at this time.) Best regards,Ben  ps : i'm using surface pro X, W11

The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document to a different location.”Observed Behavior:When attempting to save changes to a PDF located on a mapped drive, the save operation fails with the above message.If the user renames the file, changes the folder, or saves it locally and copies it back, the operation is successful.This issue only affects PDF files; other file types (e.g., DOCX, XLSX) save without issue in the same directory.The problem is not isolated—multiple users are affected across the organization.Issue onset: Around April 1, 2025.Adobe Acrobat and all other software are fully up to date.The issue persists even after reimaging affected machines and reinstalling Adobe Acrobat.Folder and file permissions have been reviewed; users have full read/write access.Troubleshooting Steps A

Any fix out there for this? Just trying to save a pdf. Come on Adobe, every new version just adds to the bugs. 

Right side tool bar is annoying in Acrobat DC . How can this be fixed?

When I open the program or a pdf, it stays open for a few second and then automatically closes. 

After updating from Win10 to Win11, when opening Adobe Acrobat, an error pops up saying: "Resource File Corrupted   . The Resource file might be corrupted.  Check CustomeSymbol File if it is corrupted".  See screenshot of the error.  When clicking OK, everything seems to work.  This happens when opening a PDF or opening Adobe Acrobat. However, we have done everything, checked for corrupted files in CMD, did a repair of the install, uninstalled, and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat.  Killed the User's profile.  It will not come up if we run Adobe Acrobat as an administrator.  It also does not come up when logging in as a different user.   Any research shows that a "customsymbol file" is associated with Adobe Illustrator, which is not installed.It also indicates that this file is ".ai" which is not found on the computer.  Any ideas?  

In file explorer pdf file preview pane doesn't shows the text comments added in the pdf file. It the text comments displays in adobe acrobat. this issue is there ony with the pdf files created after may month.

Hello,I have a multipage PDF with about 500 pages. The pages contain variable content, so each page looks slight different. I am looking for a way to shuffle the page or in other words to automatically and randomly mix pages in the page position. So that i.e page one becomes page 300 and page 488 becomes page 2 and so forth. I do not want to do a manual page move.Any idea?

I have a subscription that includes 2 licenses, and I am the Administrator. I am a business owner and yesterday I received a bank loan document that required my esignature, and the bank uses Adobe Sign. When I logged in to submit my signature and selected 'Sign', Adobe defaulted to a former HR mployee who used to use the 2nd license. I spent over an hour trying to determine how this happened and how to change it. Can someone tell me how to remove this default or how this happened? If I want to change it, then I have to use my mouse or fat finger, which I prefer not to do on an important document, and want to use a preselected cursive font.  Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, I'm a newbie to acrobat and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.When I scroll my mouse over the areas that need to be filled out, it allows me to click as if I should begin typing - however, when I type, nothing happens. I attached the pdf for reference. If anyone has any tips on how I can get this to work, please let me know!

Yesterday, I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat on my Windows 10 PC. I could only open it as an Administrator, and I repeated these steps twice. I thought it might have been related to Malwarebytes Premium, but I no longer have that on my PC. Today, I uninstalled and reinstalled it again, and now it won't even open as Admin. Malwarebytes Premium is no longer on my system. Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening?
