Adobe Print to PDF print preferences has multiple drop downs with buttons to the right of them, These are hidden by the UI not auto scaling properly(at all), Short of taking the users computer and reimaging it, we have found no solution. DPI, Resolution, Zoom, Adobe specific UI scaling, Clean removal and reinstall of acrobat. Short of re-imaging the computer is there an actual workable solution thats been discovered since this issues has been around for at least a year now. This is a new laptop freshly imaged for a user. I have a 200 page PDF file, and I need to split it into multiple smaller PDFs, each containing 25 pages. Is there any free and easy-to-use software that can do this quickly?

Hi there, We're using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC ver 2018.011.20038 and when we redact a document, the text becomes blurry for some reason. I've already tried reinstalling Acrobat but that didn't help.I've looked through all the options in preferences but didn't see anything wrong. Has anyone ever come across this issue?Thank you

Please tell me how to shut this "feature" off?! I've never intentionally used it, but I guess Adobe feels free to upload anything I do to their server? This isn't acceptable for me - please help! 

Good Day Pros,                 I am reaching out today as I have a situation where I have a text box " % Body Fat ".  I am looking for a way that if a number is entered in it will add the % sign to the backside of the number. If the text W/S is entered, it will just be W/S. Is it possible to do this?

The company I work for forwards some monthly service invoices via email as .pdf files, as some customers still demand invoices in this manner. Recently, one such email was intercepted, from the recipients system, and the bank routing information changed to a fraudulent account. Luckily, the bad guys reached out to our customer in an 'attempt' to explain the routing number change and our customer called us. I am currently part of the team assembled to implement additional security procedures for this process, and am exploring avenues for additional layers of security for the process. What I would like to know is if Adobe has moved beyond the basic password for pdf file security, which can be bypassed with any screen shot software, and into other methods that would prevent pdf file tampering? I'm also open to any suggestions from this group of experts! Thank you, in advance, for your assistance and'or suggestions!

How do I remove Acrobat from my ribbon in Word for Windows 10?  I didn't ask for it to be installed, but Adobe apparently thinks it knows more about what I want then I do.  It is rather useless as I can generate a pdf without using it.  It takes up valuable real estate on my ribbon.Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

I would like to permanently prevent Acrobat from installing add-ins for Microsoft 365 applications.Acrobat installs add-ins for Excel, PowerPoint, and Word in ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup. It doesn't ask for permission to do this and there is no option to stop it from happening.I can turn the add-ins off from within the Microsoft applications but they turn back on when I relaunch the applications. I can delete them from the Startup folder where Acrobat places them but Acrobat just replaces them. Has anyone figured out a way to permanently stop Acrobat from doing this?

the issue started today, window 10 PCs, Adobe XI launches then closes within a few seconds.  Anyone else experienced this today? Wondering if its a Microsoft or Adobe update. 

In the last few weeks, when I click on a new tab, the PDF document for the new tab shifts ever so slightly to the left (depending on the document's sizing and placement... sometimes I think it shifts down instead). When I release the tab at the top, the document shifts back to the center of the screen. The shift is minor -- probably a few millimeters, but it's very annoying because I'm often comparing document designs, and I will switch between tabs to compare any changes. For example, maybe I'm reviewing a postcard where we changed a date. I want to make sure nothing else changed in the postcard except the dates and a quick flip between tabs used to do the trick for me, but alas, no more. Yes, I know I could use the Compare feature by Adobe but 1) it sometimes misses changes or catches too much or 2) it is far more cumbersome than a quick switch between tabs. I've looked through the Adobe preferences and can't find anything that turns off this feature. iMacCatalina 10.15.7Acrobat Pro 2024.004.20272Canon PIXMA TR8620 wireless printer/scanner/fax I'm getting all kinds of messages when trying to create a PDF from scanner. I will go to "Create" from scanner and click "Scan". I immediately get an error "Failed to open session on device (-9921) and then it will scan. In the next screen, I will select the item I wish to scan and select "Color" and click "Scan". Again I get another error, "The Selected Color Format is not supported". I could not do anything except Force Quit out of Acrobat since it would not let me do anything. After restarting, I went through the same scenario and when I got to the same spot that it locked up, I was able to click "Ok", but then it threw another error when I selected "Scan" stating "The operation is not allowed, since scanning is in progress", but the printer/scanner is sitting idle.I am able to accomplish the scanning using the utility program that came with the scanner, but I would prefer not having t

I have a Mac Studio with 32 gigs ram. When closing PDFs that are on my local drive, you get the spinning color wheel for several seconds. I can't understand why this app needs so much time to just close a document. Does anyone know of some settings that speed this app up? These are PDF files of like 4-6 megs in size and this should be so slow.Thank you!

I am working on a form and have included drop-down lists and list boxes (where people can choose multiple items). I need all the lists to be accessible as the population I work with are blind. The lists are not tagging naturally during the document tagging process and I cannot find a way to associate any tag I create with the items listed in the actual drop-down or list box fields I have created. If I create a <L>; <Li>; ,<Lbody> tag heirarchy I am not finding a way to associate the tags with the phrases on my list. I am including a screenshot of a drop-down list I have created.  I have a staffer who uses a screen reader and has told me the boxes are not accessible. Is there a solution to this?

When a user prints a document using my printer, the driver receives a PDF along with some details like document name, selected color, number of pages, etc. This information comes from the CUPS backend, and then the driver uploads everything to the cloud.However, I’m facing an issue when users print from Adobe Acrobat. If they check the “Print in grayscale (black and white)” box, the PDF content is correctly converted to grayscale. Hi,I am wondering if it is possible through API development to create a pop-up prompt when someone first opens a PDF with multiple choices. And depending on the choice selected, the PDF would then navigate to the pertinent page. Ideally, it would be even better if I could make something like this work with a PDF Portfolio and have it navigate to a specific document in the portfolio. For example, I would like it to prompt the user to ask what language they would like to view the document in. Upon selection, it would navigate to the document in the selected language.  I am less-than-savvy with coding, but willing to do the research and put in the elbow grease so long as I know the functionality is there.

I'm a relatively new user. I have document pages that have multiple links that need to point to the same document elswhere in a different folder. Is there a way to choose all these links in one page, change their properties (assign the same Page x of x) all at once or am I stuck with editing each link property one by one? TIA - Paul O.

I have my personal browser with 3 different access with 3 different google accounts each has their purpose. 1 personal and other 2 for business work etc etc... But when I download PDF files from other browsers it always askes me to sign in again on the app directly. And when i do, it says Sign in on your browser. We've opened a new broswer tab for you to sign in. Once you've been authenticated you will automatically continue here. And when i go to the browser, i am getting this error all the time. 7963ed6c-37f5-4c96-b374-f06e5c74cbd0This error message is a dead end for me, no result on google, no way to contact adobe for help. I don't even know why i am posting it here.

Bonjour, je crée des formulaires d'inscriptions où j'ai inséré des champs calculés multipliant et additionnant des montants selon les options choisies et surtout selon les nombres saisis. J'envoie ce formulaire à 90 personnes. Le montant total se calcule parfaitement pour la majorité des utilisateurs mais pour environ 30%, le calcul du montant total ne se fait pas. Bien sûr, les personnes remplissant le formulaire ne peuvent pas non plus y accéder pour saisir un montant, ça c'est normal. Je ne peux trouver la cause du problème puisque sur mon ordinateur, ça fonctionne très bien.Le cas se produit  aussi bien sous Windows 10 que Windows 11, sur Mac ou PC.Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider à ce que mes calculs se fassent sur tous les ordinateurs ?Je joins un exemple, en saisissant des nombres dans les cases vertes, le montant total doit se calculer.Merci beaucoup pour votre aide.

I just want to try the Acrobat DC free trial with the credit card info thing (i used empty card). But it never lets me cancel my trial subscription until billing issues starts popping out. I even tried to follow the How to cancel your trial or subscription tutorial in Adobe but theres no cancel options only manage payments. How can i cancel my trial?

I’ve downloaded the latest version of Adobe Acrobat on my Mac (running Sequoia 15.5). When I log in and attempt to open certain PDF files, they display as a gray screen.These same PDFs open correctly in Preview, so the files themselves are not corrupted. I’ve also tested using a different Adobe account and encountered the same issue. This doesn’t appear to be related to macOS Sequoia, as I experienced the same problem on my previous operating system.Interestingly, some PDFs—typically ones from businesses—open without issue. And some display partial gray areas. However, any PDFs I’ve scanned myself consistently fail to load and show only a gray screen.
