Ich möchte ein Dokument digital per Unterschriftenlauf signieren lassen. Das Problem: Es ist ein zweistufiger Signatur-Prozess vorgesehen. Alle Zeichner, die das Dokument unterzeichnen müssen es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nochmals zeichnen. Es gibt als zwei "Signaturrunden" und es ist von Anfang an vorgesehen, dass jeder Zeichner zwei Signaturfelder hat. Erst wird die "erste Runde" von allen gezeichnet auf dem jeweils ersten Signaturfeld und dann zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt die "zweite Runde" auf dem jeweils zweiten Signaturfeld. Die zweite Signaturrunde soll von dem Dokumentenverantwortlichen eingeleitet werden, der die erste Signaturrunde als letzter mit seiner Unterschrift abschließt. Wenn ich aber nun einen Unterschriftenlauf starte und zunächst nur für jeden Zeichner ein Feld vorsehe, wird nach Zeichnung durch den letzten Zeichnet das Dokument als final signiert gespeichert. Ich kann keine weiteren Unterschriftenfelder mehr hinzufügen. Lege ich gleich pro Zeichner zwei Felder an,

Hallo zusammen,  wir haben eine Problem mit der AcroRdrDCx642500120577_MUI.exe installation. Wir verwenden windows 11 23h2 multilanguage iso bedeutet wir haben diverse sprachen in der Iso instalation. Grund installation ist EN_GB.wenn wir nun den AcroRdrDCx642500120577_MUI installieren und der user switcht sie sprache z.B. auf DE wird die Sprache im Acrobat nicht geändert. auch wenn ich versuch die Sprache händisch zu ändern. es werden mir die aktuelle system sprache nicht angeboten der Arcobat MUI bleibt immer auch English. Hat jemand eine idee. Oder muss ich die Sprachpakete extra nachladen und installieren? MfG Tobias 

Why does Acrobat have "non responding" errors multiple times a day.  This is VERY annoying

Hello As advised by the support helpline at Adobe - see below. We use the Adobe Acrobat for Microsoft 365 plugin with Microsoft SharePoint. Normally when you open a PDF in browser (Edge) - you can add a signature and save it.  When you open another PDF, the signature previously added is retained for use.  That feature has stopped working in the past week.  The signature is not being retained. We suspect this is a bug/glitch - can anyone help?Regards

Up until recently, I have been been able to save a copy of signed pdfs to our network. The last few signed documents I have been sent (as attachments via email)  do not allow me to do this. I don't want to make any changes, nothing has been password protected, all I want to do is save a copy for my records. All of these options are greyed out and Acrobat is telling me that the document has password security on it even though the person who sent it to me said they didn't password protect it. Printing a copy or converting it to/from another file format is not acceptable. Please help me troubleshoot this.

How I can download acrobat 9 pro, I have serial key but do not have CD.

How do I disable this maddening black box that appears whenever I try to edit one of my own documents? This is not the standard tool bar that can be docked. It's something entirely new. In the image below, all I'm trying to do is move the text box down so that it isn't overlapping the dollar amount. I can click on the box, the borders become highlighted as usual, but I cannot drag the box anywhere.It just started happening a few months ago and I've wasted so much time trying to work around it, I'm ready to dump Adobe all together.Any help will be greatly appreciated! 

I'm using Acrobat Pro 2020 and Word for Windows 2007.Starting quite recently, whenever I create a PDF using the Acrobat PDFMaker Office Com Addin, all the images in the resulting PDF display the file path as a Tooltip when I hover over them. This is ridiculous because the file paths are on my local drive, which no one I send the PDFs to has access to. But I can't see anywhere in the Addin's Preferences settings that enables one to turn this awful behaviour off. (I don't even understand how the PDFMaker knows what the images' file paths are,  as I can't see them in Word, only in Acrobat).This definitely didn't happen with PDFs I created using the Acrobat PDFMaker Addin in the past - but I'm not sure when the behaviour changed. My short term workaround is to use the PDF printer driver to create PDFs from Word documents, instead of using the the Acrobat PDFMaker Addin - but this is very unsatisfactory.How can I turn this behaviour off?Many thanks for your help.Dave

I am ready to pull my hair out.  I was hoping 2025 would fix the painful issues with tagging a document.  Here is my problem:Word document (100% accessible) - converted to PDF.Opended PDF in Adobe Pro 2025 and used the prepare a form tool.Spent about 3 hours tweaking a few field names and the tool tips, manually adjusted the reading order and adding radio buttons as well as a few calculation  formulas. Ran the accessibility checker.  Had issues with all of the radio buttons I added.Went to the tagging pannel.  Couldn't figure out how to get it to recognize the radio buttons.Tried Automatically tag PDF.  That wipped out the entire tagging structure, rebuilt it and now I have ooodles of tagging errors.   Had oodles of document structure errors. Totally messed up the accessibility of my document. Went to the Reading order pannel.  Cleared the document structure and tried to manually assign the structure types.  There are three se

Hi there, this is no doubt a qyuyestion that exposes my ignorance. I have created a series of files and emailed them to myself and others, however now cannot open them and all have this message: 'This PDF file is protected You'll need a different reader in order to view this content: Download a compatible PDF reader. This PDF Document has been protected. The reader you are using does not support opening files protected by Microsoft Office' How on earth is this possible as I do not recall actively adding any protectuion to these files. How on earth can I open/read these? 

I know there has been a lot of talk about this topic. BUT -Why is it, that I have two similar PCs in my office - both run standard windows 10, and acrobat pro dc. But on one of them some PDFs looks like jibberish - weird characters that don't make any sense.It's not just from one source, that the PDFs are unreadable. Someone wrote that it was generated from companies using "not-adobe" programs to create their PDF, but thats not the case, since I have two PCs where one can read the PDFs and the other can't. What is the solution - there has got to be one!

Hi,We have a requirement where we will pass a file(jpg,tif,pdf etc) to OCR system through a service and in return the OCR system will extract the text from the file and will send that text in response of that service request. Does Acrobat Pro DC supports this kind of requirement ?Thanks!

It seems I was able to find old answers for old versions that are no longer valid.I have the Acrobat reader, version 2025.001.20577 and I don't want to have to turn the rulers on every time I open a file.Isn't there a default setting? Edit - Perference - General or any other catagory doesn't have a selection. I hope someone has an answer. Thank you...

I have been using Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat Pro and Enfocus Pitstop to create print PDFs for well over 10 years using the same process, the process has not changed. On Aug 14th, the appearance of Pantone 152 U changed from orange to green, and I can not figure it out.

Hello, I am trying to install Acrobat; however, it does not want to download past 45% and then prompts me with Error code 136: (Unable to install the product). I have reason to believe that it is because it still has Acrobat Distiller and Acrobat installed; however, when downloading the remover tool, it is not able to find them. What can I do about this?

I am trying to convert some photocopied bank statements into a more usable form. I am able to successfully use the OCR scanning tool to create a pdf file which contains editable text and images. Now I need to know how to extract the editable text from the resulting file line-by-line like the "Read out Loud" tool does.  If I simply try to use the mouse to select the main body of the page (which contains a table of transactions with mm/dd date on the left, a description, and a dollar amount), as I drag the selected area across the page, the selected area expands upward and downward to include editable text at the top and bottom of the page, which I don't want. If I then paste the selected text into a plain text file, I get a completely jumbled result which cannot possibly be parsed into what I want. The issue seems to be that the copy operation proceeds in a kind of vertical columnar manner from left to right, over the entire page. It is obviously possible to process the editable te

HiI am switching laptops.  When installing my Adobe XI Pro (7.0) onto the new laptop I made sure to deactivate my license on my old laptop before adding in the license to the new installation and when I log into my Adobe account, it does not show any activated devices. However, the product is still registered with my email and shows when I log into my Adobe account.  However, on my new laptop, although the install was successful and I can use it, it is now past 30 days, and I'm trying to activate it in a new laptop. When I log into my Adobe account to register the product again, I keep getting a message saying my serial number is already in use. I spoke to customer service and they said it is out of warranty. This license was only on my old laptop, which I removed the installation from.  There is no other computer with it.  Any suggestions on how do I activate it in my new laptop. Hallo zusammen!Ich habe einen PC mit einem Wechselrahmen und zwei Festplatten auf denen je ein Betriebssystem ist (win11 und win10) Ich wollte von meinem Abo den Acrobat pro 17 auf beiden Systemen installieren. Auf der ersten (win11) funktionierte es gut. Bei der zweiten wird meine Seriennummer nicht akzeptiert. Ich hätte zu viele Geräte aktiviert. Gesehen habe ich aber nur eins. In meiner Verzweifelung deaktivierte ich es. Trotzdem kann ich den Acrobat nicht aktivieren! Was kann ich tun?Steffen

Having an annoying issue while upgrading users from Acrobat Reader to Acrobat Standard/ Pro, depending on license.By default we install Reader on everyone's machines. When a user requires a version of Acrobat with more features we assign them a license and go about upgrading it. Sometimes when I am upgrading Reader on Windows machines, I can go to 'tools' within the application and one of the listed tools will be 'Edit'. Clicking this prompts the application to check the user's account for a license, sees that they have a Standard/ Pro license and there's a popup saying Reader can't edit PDFs but since a license is possessed, it will upgrade to Standard/ Pro in the background. Perfect.Other times (most of the time) this does not happen, because the 'tools' tab doesn't list all the features that better versions of Acrobat have, so there is nothing for me to click to prompt the upgrade. Hi all. I’m running Acrobat v25.001.20630. It’s always been tricky to know when updates are out. I know you can manually check inside Acrobat, but it doesn’t always show an update. And unlike the CC app, there’s no update popup or alert, nor does it appear alongside PS or PremPro in View Updates. Is there a way to update Acrobat directly from the CC app with the others? If not, could this be added in a future update? It’d make it easier to keep all apps updated together and be notified easier.

As early as January of this year I was able to select hundreds of .msg files from Outlook and convert to individual PDF files using the Acrobat tool from Outlook. This was a quick seamless process and valuable tool. What has changed and is there another solution?
