A user regularly compiles large PDFs (typically 100–300 pages) with bookmarks for executive and leadership review. When attempting to save these documents—particularly those with extensive bookmarks and structure—Acrobat Pro takes anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes to complete the save process. In some cases, the application becomes unresponsive for extended periods.From what she’s found online, this appears to be a known issue with Acrobat Pro, but we’d like to know:Has this been addressed in the latest version of Acrobat Pro?Are there any recommended settings, preferences, or steps that might improve save times for large, bookmarked PDFs?Is there a best practice for handling documents of this size and structure in Acrobat?

It shows the background in yellow. I've tried everything, searched for updates, turned off the barrier, or set the Windows schema, and nothing works.

My Acrobat suddenly stopped priting through my Brother Printer. It was fine, now it just prints blank pages. How can I fix this please?

Ich möchte diese in ABC001 bis ABC099 umbenennen ohne 100 Dateien einzeln zu bearbeiten.Am liebsten wäre es mir, wenn ich die Dateien auch gleichzeitig als PDF/A speichern könnte. Gibt es dafür eine Lösung? LG Rene

Hi, I am completey new to forms. I am trying to create a form with a drop down menu on the left, and 9 text boxes to its right that will each have a different value dependant on what is chosen from the drop down menu. There is a tutorial on YouTube that is explaining essentially the same concept. Yet even when I follow that tutorial to the letter, I have a problem where nothing is showing up in the text fields. The drop down menu works fine, but the text fields do not populate. I have the 'commit selected value immediately' ticked so it isnt that.Below are screen shots of the initial setup, the code (based on the YouTube tutorial) and the end result Any suggestions are appreciated!    

I used to be able to select the "organize pages" tab under "all tools" and drag either one or multiple pages into my files to save as a separate PDF. This was quicker than going through the print to PDF option, but now nothing happens if I attempt to drag and drop. Does anyone know the solution? It's been about a month or so since it hasn't allowed me to do it.

Acobat Pro 2024.22.20759 on my Mac (Intel) Sonoma Version 14.0 (23A344) is running extremely slow. Any task including opening file is taking ages! I find it after the last UI change of Acrobat. Tried re-install, but problem persists. Anyone can help?

I am trying to log into my adobe account on adobe acrobat on windows 10, my account is linked to my gmail account, when i click on sign in with gmail a message comes up saying "we have opneed another browser to authenticate sign in" or something along this line. However there is no open browser for me to sign in, what do i do? Thanks

My custom stamp isnt showing up with the current date and time when stamping a document. Im not sure if its the saved location where my stamp is saved or the JavaScript im using.

Any PDF I open, I navigate to the Document Pane and keep getting the notice "In Document Pane. Content is empty."When I open the PDFs, I sometimes get the prompt to prepare the file for screen reader and sometimes don't. Neither case makes reading the PDF possible.Using Acrobat version: Continuous Release | Version 2025.001.20529 | Unified AppMac OS version: Sequoia 15.5 on a 2024 Macbook Pro Any ideas? I have to review page proofs for my forthcoming book and the deadline is tight. I usually use Preview, but they insist on Acrobat. So far I am not having fun.

I am sending a document out for e-signatures, when I have put in 10 emails it stops letting me add, is this a limit that is set? If not how do I get more than 10 people to sign one document?  

I have the basic Adobe license for documents and editing. I have shared a document with another user in order to edit it (triple checked permissions, they are all set to ALLOW). however, neither of us are able to make changes to it without "saving a copy", which defeats the purpose of the main collaboration.  Now we would have to share the docuement each time we make changes.   Is this intentionally difficult or am I doing something wrong?  

I just want to pass along feedback that I hope will reach the team that authors Acrobat. The updates in 23.0 are terrible. A few things that have ruined my productivity:• The new e-signature interface is confusing and hard to use. I used to be able to prep docs and send to clients in a few minutes and now it takes 4x longer because the tools are no longer intuitive. Please go back to something similar to how it was. • The view scale in a doc doesn't appear to work. If you have a document that has different size pages, you used to be able to easily have it display to fill the screen and now it just sits there and does nothing. • Since when do Adobe apps not have a toolbar at the top? You took away so much of the user interface that it now takes twice as long to edit and author a document as before. Please bring back the interface and stop hiding tools. This is counter-productive. I have microsoft 365 v 2408, build 17928.20538 on a windows 11 v 24H2 (10.0.26100.4061)- when i add in the adobe pro com add -in to microsoft , i get the following error message 2 or 3 times every time i open an office document. ------ custom UI runtime error in acrobat pdfmaker office COM Addin - an error occured while calling the callback: "GetImage" ----In outlook - when adding an attachement, the PDF documents do not show in the recent list like they used to. I have already tried uninstall of office and adobe pro, and then reinstall. Any advice on how to make the com add in work? i have waited through different updates and tried to select the add in again - but the error messages never go away. 

Recently when I open any document in Acrobat, I can examine it for a few minutes before the app crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Creative Suite cs6 multiple times, and the app does the same thing. Acrobat version 10.1.1Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6 on a Macbook Air  

I'm filling out a pdf form in Adobe Acrobat (Windows 10). When typing in Amharic, letters apears at first but turn into dots when I press space/move the cursor. The form doesn't save the Amharic text Properly.  Tried: Adjusting keyboard settings, different PDF readers (Foxit works, but need Adobe).Issue persists: Even with the latest Acrobat updates. How can I fix this to ensure Amharic text displays and saves correctly in Adobe?

Does anyone know why I cant open my documents? 

Hi We are creating Interactive PDF from InDesign with Tagged pdf option enabled for Accessibility tag. In some other place we found there is span tag which is automatically generated, There is any issue if there is span tag. Inside LBL there is span tag please let us know we need to remove it or retain as is.  ThanksGanesh.R 

I've used emojis in my file names for years on my Mac because I'm dyslexic and find them easier to read. I've never had an issue opening PDFs until recently. Now, every time I try to open a PDF that's saved inside a folder with an emoji in the name, it crashes instantly. Hello,On June 2nd Adobe released their latest version of planned updates -  25.001.20521. After a week if waiting (today is June 9th) they are still not available in the catalog files:https://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/AcrobatCatalog-DC.cabhttps://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/ReaderCatalog-DC.cab I understand that this is a backend issue and I'm just curious to know when this will be fixed?

Hi all, I'm encountering a roadblock when trying to merge and email using the Acrobat PDFMaker add-in for Word; despite having set my default email client with Acrobat (which is also my computer's default email app), I get the "MAPI logon unsuccessful" message when I attempt to email the merged PDFs.  I see that other people were encountering this issue a few years back - has anyone ever gotten this error and managed to resolve it?
