Hi all, I have an Adobe PDF file with multiple pages and I would like to remove some sensitive information by using the redact tool. When I select some text, mark it for redaction and apply redaction, this redaction is applied on (almost) all pages of my document, while I just wish to have it on the one page. On the other pages I have different areas I wish to redact, not the same one. I know there's a functionality to apply redaction to all pages, but I didn't check this. I don't see an option to uncheck this, so I also can't make sure it's disabled. I've even tried to enable it and then in 'page selection' filled in that specific page. It still applied it to almost all pages. I've read in another post that I needed to save the document as an Adobe PDF instead of just saving as PDF. I've done this, still have the same problem. I've been trying to make this work way too long now and I feel like I've tried everything! I hope someone can help and let me know how I can get this
Hi everybody,After upgrading my laptop to Win10, I get an activation limit reached error, when I try to launch my copy of Acrobat X.But I am not trying to install a third copy on a third computer.I cannot fix it by removing the previous installation on the same computer; I cannot see it anymore.Nor can I fix it by managing activations from my Adobe account, where I only see activations for my new Adobe suite, not for the Acrobat X license I purchased previously. How could I fix this? Thanks a lot in advance.Giancarlo

I've also tried reinstalling with the cleaner app. The Adobe Cloud and other apps works fine, but I can't run the Adobe Acrobat (also the free version). Hi everyone, I'm new to Adobe Acrobat and currently trying to decide which Adobe app or subscription would best suit my needs. The Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps plan seems like the most comprehensive option, but it's also quite expensive—so I want to make sure I choose wisely. Here’s what I’m looking to do: Convert a wide variety of file types (especially images and documents) to and from PDF Handle large files, particularly high-resolution images, without a 100MB file size limit Perform these tasks from a high-end mobile device, but ideally with access on desktop as well Download, export, and edit PDFs with ease I was considering the Adobe Acrobat Premium subscription, but from what I’ve read, it seems to limit PDF conversion and export to files under 100MB—which would be a problem for me. Can anyone with experience recommend the best Adobe app or subscription that fits these requirements? Preferably one that includes both mobile and deskt

Hi,I have a PDF form with interactive fields where I can enter text. I would like that when I print the contents of the page, only the contents of the textfields will appear on the paper. Is there such an option in the PDF print settings ?
Hello,I have a pdf file containing multiple scanned images. I would like to improve the quality of the pages altogether by increasing the contrast and decreasing the brightness. It would be nice to modify them all at once and not page by page. I first wanted to use Photoshop for this purpose but it looks like it is not that straightforward. It also looks like there is not such available feature in Acrobat but you may be aware of a nice and efficient technique. Thanks
In Adobe Acrobat, when I am using the Draw tool with my Wacom tablet, there is a distinct delay before the beginning of the stroke is registered. I first noticed this issue a few years ago, and haven't been able to find a good solution in all that time. Here are the conditions under which I have and have not seen this problem:Delay: using Wacom tablet to draw in AcrobatOn my home computer (Windows 10 with a GTX 1060 6GB graphics card)On my former work computer (Windows 8, then Windows 10)Note: Unlike on my home computer, where this behavior is always present, on my work computer the first stroke after opening Acrobat was always perfectly normal, with no lagWith a Wacom Intuos Pro Pen and Touch Medium (PTH651)With a Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch Medium (CTH680)Over the past few years (i.e., through various Windows, Wacom driver, and Creative Cloud updates)Note: I think there might have been a period of time when the problem went away for a few months on my work computer, but it could be th

Yesterday I tried to install Photoshop CS6 on another Windows 10 device.During setup, I got the below warning: "Adobe Acrobat 2020 (Classic) - SetupYou have Adobe Acrobat DC (64-bit) (Continuous) already installed. Please uninstall that product before proceeding with this installation." I might be wrong, but I only know of just 1 install, i.e. on my Windows 10 desktop PC.AFAIK users are allowed to install Photoshop on another device, i.e. 2 installs(?) Hence I logged into my Adobe account in an attempt to get some info about the 2nd install (laptop? VM? No idea) This is the info on activated devices. "Activated devicesYou can install Adobe applications on more than one computer, activate them (sign in) on two, but use them on only one computer at a time. To activate apps on athird machine, you'll need to deactivate (sign out) on one of the two current computers first. You have no activated devices" Now it is getting a bit complicated. The installe
Help. In Adobe Acrobat X, when using the TypeWriter tool I can no longer change the font color from red to black, or change font size. I don't know what's wrong. It used to be there would be a little window that would pop up that you could change the properties of what you typed, like size, color, different fonts, etc. It's all gone now. What can I do? Thank you
I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a macbook running iOS Sonoma. I created a guided action to batch convert MSWord files to PDF files, and selected "keep orignal filenames" when prompted to specify settings, then saved the settings. However the converted files have different filenames instead. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Can I add a placeholder web link that will be created later to a PDF, making it editable in Adobe Reader without accessing the editing section?
I have a 6-page form (Employee Evaluation), In order to make the form as "uniform" as possible, I have created the entire form as text fields. This allows uniformity of fonts and makes editing/updating easier over the long run. The field titles are text fields set to read-only with default values. Ex: "Employee Name:" is a read-only text field with default value set to "Employee Name:" When tabbing through the form (page 1), I can set the tab order to go to the actual text fields in the proper order, the read-only field titles are at the end. Normally this is fine but tabbing through the last field on page 1 still tabs into the read-only fields, instead of advancing to page 2. I do it this way because the "Text Plane" is not the same as the "Field Plane", so to speak. Is there a way to disallow the tabbing into read-only fields?
Hello,I experience issues with Acrobat on my new MAC (on PC, Arobat on the same licence worked fine). On scanned PDFs, right click on the image to "Recognize Text" causes no effect. When selecting Scan and OCR from All Tools, the Scan and OCR menue does not open, instead it causes selection of the Convert menu. So far I have Logged in/out, deinstalled+reinstalled. Checked my licence is active. Thoughts?AndreasAbout My Acrobat - C&PArchitecture: arm64Processor: Apple M4Build: 25.1.20467.0AGM: 7.1.11CoolType: 10.0.3JP2K: 4.0.2.54782
I am using Acrobat to create a fillable form, similar to an order form. There's a series of rows with a numeric quantity which needs to be totalled. I have made the quantity fields numeric with two decimal places and added the calculation for the total. It works fine in Acrobat preview. After I save the form, exit Acrobat, and open the form in my browser it does not work properly. When I open the PDF in Acrobat again, I can see that all the field properties have reverted to the default format and the calculation has been removed. I am working on a standalone Mac with an up to date OS (Sequoia 15.4.1). I am using Acrobat on a free trial. I have opened the PDF using Safari and the Mac's built in preview. I am being very careful about making sure that I am using the right file, created a folder that contains only that PDF and am consistently using only that file. Here's what I'm seeing, using a simplified form for the example: 1. Empty Form in Acr
Hi all, how did you successfully cancel your subscription? I took the trial and cancelled before 7 days, on the 5th day to be exact. They have been trying to bill my account ever since and I tried so many times to cancel, today they succeeded taking my food money 😔. I logged on again to cancel, now they are trying to take 2k from my account apparently for cancelation. Please help me, this is too much for me 😭😭
I was working with a PDF document using Acrobat Pro DC. I needed to respond to questions and place text in table cells. The "Fill and Sign" tool did not work with this document so I used the "Edit PDF>>Add Text" tool. I had no problem clicking on the pages (about 75 pages) and entering the text. I saved the document. Later I had to add more text and edit the text I had already added. Again there was no problem. The third time I needed to add or edit text I looked at my previous additions and half the text disappeared. The text box where the text had been was still there just was empty. Some of the text boxes still contained part of the text (e.g. in a City, State, Zip box the City and State disappeared but the Zip was still there). Can anyone tell me why this happened and can I do anything to prevent this from happening again?

So my job involves opening and locking hundreds of pdfs a week. I've set up a macro in the action wizard of adobe to automatically encrypt it with a password and save the file. What I've recently tried to do is set up an AHK script which will click the action wizard start button, run the adobe script, and then close the pdf automatically. The issue I'm running into though is it seems like running the AHK script somehow prevents the Adobe Action Wizard macro from running. The mouse will click on the "Start Action" button but nothing will happen. Was wondering if anyone else had some suggestions or ran into this issue themselves with AHK.
While we can disable the Generative AI featuers via preferences, it does not disable the AI Assistant button. And if you click on it, it wil be prompted with an option to re-enable it. If I choose to disable it - I want the button to disappear also!! This is a security concern within our company. AI must stay disabled for ALL applications! Does the Group Policy and Intune options to disable AI also override all user attempts to enable it? Thank you! Concerned User
Looking for guidance on restricting duplicate entries in PDF form fields. Is there a way to prevent users from entering the same contact information in different fields on a PDF form.
The "Ask AI" prompt is annoying and unnecessary for Adobe. The main issue or "bug" is that when you go to search the document (CTRL+F) the "Ask AI" pop up block the search bar so that you can't see what you have typed and how many instances it has found. You have to click off of it to make the "Ask AI" prompt to go way. However, if you reclick on the search bar the pop up covers it again. This should have been caught in testing. Customers are tried of being free Beta testers. Have enough pride in your own product to hire your own people to beta test. Also, don't add AI to everything. I only use Adobe because I need to view PDFs not because I want a computer to think for me. By adding AI to the system you have introduced unnecessary additional risk.
