In the 'remarks' window:Properties --> General --> selecting 'making properties standard' does not work?

The Acrobat PDF reader has become much slower in the last couple of years, especially when you open a large drawing or document. When you compare it to other programs or the normal browser, Acrobat is really slow. Is this because of the large number of features offered? or is there something in the settings I can do to make it faster?A suggestion would be maybe create another program to read drawings and design submissions.Note: I have a powerful machine, so I do not think it is a hardware issue. Also, I like the offered features.

Its been reported in our organization by Governmet Auditor, We do have vulnerability in our adobe product however we have updated Ato the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader v2025.1.20432.0 is still using vulnerable openssl library v3.0.14, however the new v3.0.16 is available. I am wondering if there is a planned fix for updating the openssl library from Adobe in order to mitigate vulnerabilities related to openssl library? Thanks in advance.

My eyes are sensible and i would like to modify all of my PDF with GREY background and Orange text, i figured out for the background but for the text i have to do all of text box separetly , is there something faster to convert all of the text to orange ? I tried select everything with control+A but only 1 page is chosen.

Hello,  In Adobe Acrobat desktop version I am unable to 'drag and drop' documents using the 'Combine File' tool for any document attachments in Outlook. I am however able to drag and drop the email itself which has the text of the email, but the attachments no matter the format (e.g. PDF, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) will not attach. It doesn't look to be any error so when you're dragging across the item, the expected icon appears to indicate there is no error, however when you drop the item nothing ever appears. I am wondering if this is some sort of preference setting or security setting that is preventing the document being attached. I can open the documents absolutely fine and combine 'all open documents' absolutely fine (if it's a PDF) however this drag and drop functionality is quite important for how we use this tool, especially for other document types to a PDF. It's not an option for us to save and upload in combine file due to the volume we process. &nbsp

Acrobat makes my user of Apple 'Pages' complicated - too many features/choices

I've searched previous posts and not found anything useful, logical or coherent that can make any sense of the issue - and before anyone chimes in with the "PDF's aren't meant to be edited this way" hokum, first answer the question of why the text box function exists in the first place, or check boxes, or any form tools at all for that matter.I have tried every trick recommended on this forum and elsewhere imaginable, and unimaginable - short of making each text box an image file.Is there a work-around or a legitimate and actual fix for the incessant merging of text fields within a form during the form creation process? 

Hard to explain! But .. my clients send me marked up PDFs, since this update if they have used the delete and insert feature, and it says one comment in the comment bar, if I delete the comment, I get another one underneath which is the delete of the thing I've already deleted and still says one comment in the comment bar. Previously these were combined so you didn't have to do two deletes of the comments. Just one? (basically it says 1 comment, but then it decides it's 2 comments?). It's doubling going through comments.... How do I reload an old version of acrobat to check? Anyone else having this issue? Thank you!

It seems that all images I insert into acrobat have a border and I cant remove them. Border doesn't appear in other applications. !Acrobat

Hello, I currenly have buttons on my PDF that, when selected, will generate a template after the current page. I want to switch this to a drop down list so it doesn't crowd the PDF. Would someone be able to help me with this? As an example, I have 3 drop down items (MT, UT, RT), when I select one, I want the appropriate template to spawn. The templates are names the same as the drop down item selections. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

How do I create a link in Word that will take me directly to a specific line in a pdf?  Not just to a page but to a specific line.

I'm writing this message because I have a document that's having a link created (The button was pressed by accident) and it's been stuck on 'Conversion in Progress' since yesterday. I want to uninstall and reinstall to fix the issue, but my concern is that if I do reinstall, I'm scared that most of my documents on my iPad could be wiped out. Has this happened to anyone? What approach did you take to handle it?

I am trying to create a document in Benghali that needs to be accessible  When recieving the translation, I copy into indesign and export the PDF as a paragraph- using the standard composer it corruupts the formatting of the letters (in in design) however it passes accessibility in the PDF.When i use the Adobe world ready composer it corrects the formatting issue in indesign but when it fails character encoding in the PDFIve tried this with 4 fonts  Noto Sans Benghali, Adobe Benghali, Myriad Benghali and Tiro Bangla all have the same issues and am really stuck with a deadline looming Any Suggestions?

I am a college student using Canvas. I have to upload an editing assignment that shows edits and my comments on the edits. When I upload it, my professor can see the edits (strikethrough, etc) but not my comments. How can I make sure the comments are shown when I share the document?

Hi all,I'm using Acrobat Pro in Adobe Cloud and there are a lot of important features that just aren't working: Save as, redacting a pdf, merge pdfs, AI-assistant (which I'm paying for) and probably lots of other features. What is happening is that Acrobat freezes when trying to use one of these options so that I have to force quit. I've already re-installed the program but that didn't help. I can use the above features via the browser except for the redaction. I'm really at my wits end with this. Would be very grateful for any hints. Thanks!

We have set up Guided Actions to be able to quickly add individual additional pdf pages in any combination to an existing pdf. This helps us add selected pages and not running the full action means we do not need to add all the optional pages then delete them. However, for some users when they select individual guided actions the below error appears (see image below), and the only workaround is clicking "start" but this runs the full action then the user has to manually remove pages.This has only started happening recently to some users, are there any solutions please?   

I'm on Acrobat PROI manage 100s of fillable fields. After a recent update, when I open a form with fillable fields, they're no longer marked. You just have to know where they're at. I can click Prepare a Form and all my fields are viewable to edit. I can code one box to put a border around it and then when I exit Prepare a Form, that box then displays. It is not feasible to go back and edit all of these fields individually across all our forms.  If I open in Acrobat in Chrome, all the fields are viewable. Everything I've found as a suggestion to click/view/turn on is on a path from I guess an old version, because those selection options are not there. Any ideas? I labeled the attached images.    

I want to recreate a photo album in a pdf.  Here's what I've done:  Scanned each page in album seperately.  Open folder with all images in Acrobat.  Organized the pages with oustide cover first followed by inside page and first page of photos.  Created a pdf. Opend the pdf, selected two-page view and show cover page.  All is fine with outside cover page only.  Scroll down, opens two pages,  left half of screen is page 2 and right is page 3.  All fine.  Scroll down again and left is page 4 but right is still page 3.  Scroll down again and it's left page 4 and right page 5.  All the remaining page scroll down in the proper order. for some reason, on that second scroll, page 3 is not replaced with page 5? What am I missing?

Sauf que , justement après avoir entourer cette réponse je me rend compte que j'ai déborder sur le texte de la réponse. Je veux donc replacer le texte mal affiché, par du texte retapé par moi même sur adobe Acroat reader Po . Mais en retapant le texte,  le texte est effacé par le dessins avec un crayon blanc que j'avaois utilisé pour ne pas voir le texte entouré.Cdt

Hallo zusammen, ich verwende Adobe Acrobat Pro für Mac (Betriebssystem und Acrobat immer auf dem neusten Stand) und das Programm ist unglaublich langsam. Beispiel: Ich versuche eine Druckdatei in Originalgröße anzusehen und das Bildmaterial blinkt und ruckelt und lädt einfach nicht. Danach hängt sich Acrobat auf, obwohl die Datei nur 25 MB hat. Andere Adobe Programme laufen bei mir ganz normal und flüssig. Hat jemand eine Lösung dafür?

I am currently using Acrobat to create a new document. According to the instructions in the link below, I need to create a table with columns and designate certain columns as required and others as optional. Hey,So I’ve been trying to turn some simple CV templates into fillable PDFs — nothing fancy, just name, email, work history etc. Every time I use Acrobat’s form field detection it totally screws up the layout lol. I run a job site for freshers in the UAE and we’re just trying to make it easier for people to fill out resumes straight from their phones instead of messing with Word docs. Is there a chill way to just add a few clean text fields without Acrobat rearranging half the page?   [Link removed]

I need to convert PDF to Excel, however, columns and tabs make many merged cells and many blank columns. In addition to not separate the columns correctly, I see many not separate lines together in the same cell. I'm even thinking that Adobe Acrobat Pro DC has limitations. There is no way to define what points in columns to force break column? Nor create many columns that are useless? Hello, Actually I change the material of my PC and install the system on a new hardrive.I re install as secondary my old hardrive and now, I can't open my pdf.All of the pdf have a yellow lock and I don't know how to do.If someone could help me, I will really appreciate.
