Questions

I have a lot of people who need to check and comment on PDFs within the company. Once everyone is done, I then make the amends etc. But then some people need to compare comments made, with the new version. I need to stop any new comments being added to the first PDF, so that they're not added by mistake later. Is there a way to disable new comments but still show existing ones?

Can anybody understand what is this and why is poping up when I open a PDF document. Hi I have a licensed software. If I close this crap the original document is closed as well.

Hello,The regular version of Adobe Acrobat is what I'm using. When utilizing the Convert functionality to convert a PDF with a table to Excel, the percentage value is rounded to four decimal places. Other numbers without "%" are not affected by it, though.I require that the percentage number stay the same as the original. When selecting Create PDF function, the explorer window only shows files that I have currently saved as PDF in Windows 10.  It doesn't show .docx files I want to create a PDF from.  This makes absolutely no sense.  Why would I want to create a PDF from a selection of PDFs?  I am only going to want to create PDF's from other formats, most likely .docx.  This is the main reason I purchased Acrobat.  It is much simpler to edit documents in Word and save them as PDFs than to edit PDF documents in Acrobat.  So there really is no need to pay monthly for Acrobat when I can accomplish creating, editing and saving PDFs in Word.   I have Acrobat build 24.002.20759 and run Windows 10 Pro 19045.4412. I swear I have been able to find .docx files to select from my File Explorer in the past when I select Create PDF and imported to create a PDF.  Unless I have gone crazy.  Today, not able to even see .docx files in the Fil

I am lefthanded and I would like to know how to change the direction for the mouse-pointer IN the pdf documents. I use a software changing the direction of the mouse pointer in general and it works very well everywhere but NOT inside a pdf document. How to get the mousepointer to change direction inside a pdf document?

Why did my TIFF barcode I added to the PDF become JPEG after converting the PDF to press-ready?

Is this possible? Rather than having to backspace/delete all the text of the default (such as select an item), when the default is clicked the field is blank for the custom text to be entered.

We're using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.010.20069I'm volunteering for a non-profit that would like to be able to allow parents to download a child registration form pdf, fill it out, then click on a submit button within the pdf that will email the filled form directly to a designated email for the company. The form is completed, the button is in place and we can get it to work in preview mode; however we've tried a few different save-as options and none of the subsequent files have submit buttons that work on user computers.I've tried two different versions of the submit button, one uses "submit a form" action and the other uses javascript, both button versions work in preview.For these two button versions I've tried "Save as (Adobe PDF Files(*.pdf))", "Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save)", I also tried "Distribute form (for review)" (wasn't editable as intended on the cloud).  For the downloadable files I've tried

Hello,One of my users is using Acrobat Pro 2020 and upon recieving a signed document, she can no longer delete pages, etc. I've reviewed other forum posts on this topic and many of the suggestions are to just save a copy of the PDF if any edits are needed.The unusual aspect of this, is she's never had this issue with any other signed documents until today. My question is three-fold:When does the "Not Allowed" setting get applied? Upon signature? Something else?Is it possible to change the "Not Allowed" setting without making a copy of the PDF?If the "Not Allowed" setting is expected after the document is signed, why might this issue not have cropped up before now? Thank you for your consideration

Hello, i did a quick search but wasnt satisfied with the language i found regarding my question. I have a fillable form i wish to send with email via a button on the form using javascript. When i do this now, acrobat attaches a live fillable file, and not a printed pdf. This is for a class certificate, and must be sent as a printed pdf and not the editable form.Can someone please help provide the java code to accomplish this? We have a weird issue with Acrobat DC PRO (and DC Reader, too) on a Mac Pro opening with stale versions of a file.For example, using InDesign (CC 2017) say we export to PDF, save it on the desktop (or a network share does the same thing).  Open it in Acrobat by double-clicking it on the desktop.  Looks good.  Close Acrobat.  Back to InDesign to make a change.  Export again, same location, say REPLACE.  Double-click the file on the desktop and up comes the PREVIOUS version of the file!  Using PREVIEW, we can see the file itself is the correct, newer one.If we change the name of the file, it opens correctly and shows the new version.  Rename it back to the original file name, and it opens the previous version again.  Acrobat Reader DC does the same thing (we use OPEN with... to open with Reader).  Somehow, Acrobat is caching the file and not updating its cache.Acrobat has this behavior on 2 of the 5 Mac Pro systems in our office.It seems

Despite my having a monthly subscription for Acrobat, I am constantly prompted to activate/subscribe, spend yet more money for any type of operation I perform within Acrobat (organise, combine, etc.).   Please fix this - I am obviously paying for a below-standard product. When I change the text color, the color box shows the changed color, but the actual text color does not change.These are what I tried – 1) Add/Remove Programs – Repair Acrobat. 2) Regedit > Expand HKEY Current User >Software> Adobe > there is no file other than (Default)

When im trying to open a pdf on any browser i get the “Failed to Load PDF Document” this is happening with chrome, edge, and explorer. Can anyone help me solve this issue. 

I'm trying to create transparent fill shapes (with an outline) in Acrobat DC, and there is no "transparent fill" option. Where did this go?? I've been able to create outlined shapes with transparent fills in every other version of the program.

Acrobat Pro (latest) defaults to bold face for new bookmarks (this is new, two days old for me, possibly after a silent update). Is this just me or generally true? How to revert to normal behavior? tx

Hi, I have a medical pdf form. There are text fields, check boxes and digital signatures on the form. I have an issue with body chart, where patients required to indicate their pain areas. Please see image below and let me know what possible ways are availabe there in acrobat to complete this form? What are the easiet way to indicate pain areas in this body chart.
