I'm preparing a form and I was able to find the Javascript to remove the red required border from text fields after they've been filled in, but I can't figure out how to remove the red required border from my radio buttons after one of them has been selected. It looks confusing and as if they still have to complete something if the red border stays around the buttons after they've made a selection. Is there a code or function that will remove the red border? Here's an example of where I need to require that a button is selected, but once it's selected it confusingly is still red:

How do I insert a page break or remove white space at the bottm of a page in a PDF I created?

The Stamps option isn't available when trying to customize toolbar.  I have Adobe Acrobat Pro and Standard but neither appear to have this option.   Save is greyed out.  Can someone assist on how to fix or explain why this can't be done.  

PLEASE ADOBE stop adding macros to Microsoft office startup folder.  Almost all schools and university disable macros.Most user have them turned off by default.It generates error messages and or popups on all Mac (and some PC) computers every time a users runs MS office.  It forces admins to endlessly have to fix your updates/installs. The follwing files cause problems!Excel > AcrobatExcelAddin.xlamPowerpoint > SaveAsAdobePDF.ppamWord > linkCreation.dotm

I used to be able to select "File / Create / Combine Files Into A Single PDF" and combine files into a single PDF.This no longer works.It now generates a new left-hand window that shows multiple PDFs instead of the pages of the PDF. I can no longer view the pages of the combined PDF but only the two files, stacked "on top of" each other.I can no longer save it as a standard PDF but now only as a "Portfolio" PDF.Upon saving, it no longer can be opened in Acrobat Pro DC and now has an error screen telling me to open it in Acrobat X.How can I restore the ability to combine files into a PDF?

I created a custom dynamic stamp by copying and revising the "approved" Adobe default stamp. How can I share this custom stamp that I created for others to use? Is there a shared folder that I would place the stamp file in? 

I have a few users walk to me with this issue, the have a form that that fillable text boxes. Everything works, but when you go to edit the box, if you back space the text is still there. This is not an issue because once you click out of the box it updates. But if you back space and then start typing the text overlaps until you click out of the box and then it updates. This cause some of my users to get confused. I was able to duplicate this issue on an ipad and iphone running the latest app version and ios version. Any tips? I have tried different PDF forms as well and same thing.

I'm creating a fillable form in Adobe Acrobat Pro but also need it to be printable so it can be completed by hand. Within my form fields, I would like the default appearance of each dropdown list field to be blank. This will allow someone using the form on paper to have an empty box to fill in. How can I do this?

I had to reinstall because AA Pro DC was still crashing. After reinstalling, I no longer have the "Reduce File Size" option under FILE. I have to go through the menu File => Save as Other => Reduced Size PDF.I have the same installation of the same version on another PC where the file reduction feature via "File=>Reduce File Size" is still available.Can anyone advise on the problem that this option has completely disappeared from the menu?

Hi, this is my first post here.I'm new in using Acrobat Pro, and I have a problem while opening pdf files.If I save from Illustrator  a new file with same name of previous versions, Acrobat will open the previous version instead of the new one.To open the new one, I have to quit Acrobat (cmd-Q) then reopen.I think that's a cache-raleted isuue, but I didn't find any preference about. Thanx! 

Whenever I try to use the organize tool, it opens a tab in my browser, rather than just opening the tool within the Reader DC app itself. This is ok for one-off uses, but I use it a lot in work, and the only option to save locally from the browser is into my Downloads folder. Is there a setting I need to change so that I can use the Organize Tool without using the browser?

Windows 10 Pro, recently re-installed and licensed Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.23 with latest update.  Adobe Acxrobat and webpages won't print using Adobe PDF function under print this page or File/Print. (an error occured while printing the document) Docs and webpages prints fine using Microsoft Print to PDF driver in Firefox 62.03, even Firefox Convert current web page to an Adobe PDF file and other printer drivers, just not Adobe PDF function listed under Printers.  Thoughts?

Hello, I have been trying to open a PDF that I have accessed recently and whenever I try a pop up message reads "There was an error opening this document. Access denied." I went to preferences and unchecked "Enable Protected Mode at Startup" then selected "yes" but nothing has changed.

So I want to shrink it to the same size as others, specifically, to 8.263 in x 11.695 in. I read the article here which uses Preflight to scale a page. But maybe because I am working on Windows 10, the "Scale pages to specified size" fixup does not exist (please disregard the one I created in the screeshot below):So, I decided to create one according to this article. However, I don't know what I should set in the "Adjustment" option. What is worse, since I only need to shrink the first page, I don't want to apply the fixup to all pages. But I did not find "First page" or "Specified page(s)" that I expect in the dropdown menu of "Apply to".So, can you please tell me what the "Adjustment" option I should choose for shrinking, and how to specify "Apply to" to apply the fixup to the cover page only? I created a form field while editing a pdf and I accidently created two. The form field tab number is zero and when i right click on it and hit delete it does not delete. if i enter any information into this box the information does not stay. I have no idea why this one form field will not delete. any other new one i make will go away. please help

I have a copy of Acrobat Standard DC (2015) purchased with my Dell computer in December. When I started up this morning, I got a message "Error 28000: Installation of Acrobat Licensing Module has failed." I went into Arobat, which said "Installation Problem - IMSLib not found". I also got a message "Adobe Application Manager, required to verify your license, is missing or damaged. Please download a copy of AAM from www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager".And the update failed (error 28000 - and directed me to rollback options).That link takes me to CC desktop, and I tried installing that program, which resulted in a "failed to insatll - error code 50" message.I tried installing the latest update from inside Adobe, but got "What next? I tried renaming the OOBE folder in program files (x86)/common files/adobe but it says a file is in use (everything is closed and I shut down any adobe background tasks I could find (one by one)).Ideas? Suggestions?

Hello, i got this message from my Adobe Acrobat DC saying the following ; An error has been detected with a required application library or file and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application.Hence, i proceeded to download adobe reader only to find out i can't restore my pruchase of the pro version. Please note that i've been using the 2018 version of Adobe Acrobat Dc Pro, and i didn't sign in unfortunatly into this app, and now i cant benefit from the unlocked features. What am i supposed to do now?  Thank you

Hi Guys,I've built a 21up sticker sheet (A4) with a PMS dieline for the cutting shape. And then that has turned into 553 individual pages. The usual printer that uses these artwork files is OK with this setup. It has now been sent to an external supplier which wants the dieline removed (so just artwork on the page now). Just seeing if there is a short cut to remove the PMS colour or give it a 0% so it can't be seen. Can I remove the PMS colour for the dieline with an action in acrobat. It's a lot of work to have to re-PDF all the individual 553 pages again.Thanks,Trevor

Testerday we did the Apple IOS Sequia Update to version 15.3.2 Suddenly all the pdf files are not showing fonts or text and the background is gone bad.    Can anyone help? I have re-installed the app, cheched the settings and cannot find any visible errors.    Please if you can help, email me [Private info removed] this is an urgent request as it is affecting my collegues.    Anyone else with the problem? I have attached the 2 files examples. 

In "\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{98D9A6F1-4696-4B5E-A2E8-36B3F9C1E12C}\LocalServer32", the command '"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\AcrobatInfo.exe" /PDFShell' is registered, which is obviously incorrect. The correct path should be "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\AcrobatInfo.exe".I hope you can fix this bug soon.

I'm suddenly being inundated with a pop up message saying "update to the latest version for continued access to adobe document cloud". How can I turn off this message? I have zero interest in using the cloud and prefer not to update. I've been burned too many times by updates. The current version works fine (other than this constant pop-up message). I want to continue using it as is but need to stop this message. Thank you.

(Mac oS X high Sierra, Pro DC Build: 19.21.20058.359605) This started happening with last Acrobat Pro DC update - while working ongoing on an ai or indd file and saving a pdf to my desktop, the pdf does NOT update. In other words, if I make a change to the ai or indd file and save over the pdf Acrobat will not update the file. Even if I delete the pdf and save a pdf to the desktop with same file name the change will not take effect. Quitting Acrobat and reopening does not help. I have to change the pdf file name in order for the change to take effect.  Below is three tests from one file, saved pdf, save over, and quit and resave. The right side is the pdfs and they do not update. No amount of quitting or deleting older pdfs is fixing this one. I appreciate any help but please do not suggest the following:1) quitting acrobat and reopening (doesn't work)2) changing file names constantly (file names have to follow a set guideline per my employer)3) deleting and reinstalling Acro

I have one question about changing the order of executing the fixups  in Custom Preflight Profiles...Ive build a Custom Preflight Profile. It needs to be executed in right order in order to make changes in a way it should be done...Its custom DTP problem of fixing the dimensions book in PDF format...Ive made a Custom fixup. It consists of 5 Fixups and i need them to be executed in right order... i mark them from 1-5  http:// but when i run the fixup it changes the order of execution so it ends up like this...of course because of changed order fixup didnt fulfill its purpose...is there some way to force order of executing the fixups?i couldn't find the logic behind this onethank you!

I can see the entire file with the built-in preview for Mac and even web Acrobat but couldn't do it on the local Acrobat app. It's so frustrating, could someone let me know how to resolve this?
