How do I set up OWA (Outlook Web Access) as the default email for sending emails from inside Adobe PDFs?  I went to preferences, Email and tried to add other.  I added my email address and password...and what I thought were the OWA settings, but I was not successful when testing.  Help!

How do you save PDF files to print on large format printers?

Greetings! So basically I would like to automate a manual process I sometimes do hundreds of times a day. I have to manually place a stamp onto PDF's, so I wanted to create a guided action that automatically places it in the top right corner of a page. My javascript skills are lacking, and below is my code in the guided action. I can't figure out the placement as this just puts it in the bottom, and it also only selects the most recent stamp I used. Would anyone know how to update the code to place a specific custom stamp in the top right of a page? PDF's I receive are printing with part of the left side of the page cut off - how do I change the left print margin in Acrobat Standard XI? I can't figure out how to increase the left margin and this is driving me crazy.

Hello, I am attempting to get app.alert to display a message onscreen via the "Run a Javascript" menu option. Hello,   I am in the process of creating a contract template for our company.  We would like to be able to send this document out to our customers for them to sign.  I would like to assign a different contract number to each document that I resave (save as) under a customer's name.  Everytime I do this I would like to have the contract start with a new distinct contract number.  I will be working off of the master template (file).  I would like the number to start with 100001.  Currently, I am using this JavaScript but it is only putting one digit at a time.  I started with a 1, then number 2, now I am at number 3.  Only one single digit.  My field is titled Agreement Number.  Can you please help me with a solution?     var f = this.getField("Agreement Number");if (f.value=="") f.value = "100001";else f.value = util.printf("%04d", (Number(f.value)+1));

I have many pdfs that simply need the same boilerplate pasted paragraph. The paragraph I created is center-aligned using 3 different fonts. But all formatting, alignment and fonts get lost when I try to paste it. I tried pasting this paragraph from Libre Office Writer into Acrobat Pro as well as simply copying an already formatted paragraph from Acrobat Pro itself and pasting that into the same or other Acrobat Pro pdf documents using the keep formatting option. Neither works. Any suggestions?Thanks

I am doing a massive overhaul of our forms for my job, and I have written several scripts to lock all fields when a button is pressed or to automatically insert today's date in a field so the user cannot backdate the form, but I am wondering if I could write a script that turns the borders of my form fields off when the document is printed. I need to keep the borders so that users who open the forms in Adobe Reader can see the fields, but I don't love the look of that when the document is printed. I would also love for the borders to turn back on after printing. I only have basic Java/JavaScript knowledge, and most of the scripts I've "written" have been adapted from various responses I've seen posted here. I'd love some feedback on this particular issue!

Hello!I was messing with the JavaScript Editor window and unintentionally pressed Windows + Left Arrow, making the window fill the left half of my screen.When I try to resize to a smaller size, it just doesn't work. Is there any way to get this window back to normal? It's too big!(Restarting the program does not solve anything at all.) Thank you.

I recently updated my hard drive on my PC. I would like to reinstall my Adobe Acrobat X Pro software but in order to do that my understanding is I require my license key. In order to get my license key I need my serial number. I have logged into Adobe and gone to my products section at https://account.adobe.com/products but nothing is listed although I know I registered the product. Is there anyway I can sort this. I still have Adode Acrobat X Pro working on my old hard drive on the same PC and so have access to it. But as I say I would like to move it to my new SSD hard drive. You advice would be appreciated thanks.

hope the title is clear enough. i can easily add hyperlinks to a pdf but i want these 3 hyperlinks to, instead of open in google chrome (how we have our pdfs set up), i want them to open in another program which is used for pdf markups.

I have a PDF file with pre-stated modules to fill and return to the company who made it.If I fill it using Acrobat Reader there is no problem but if I fill it using Acrobat Pro when I save it appears a javascript warning and then the filled file is rejected from the main system where I'm uploading (there is no problem if I use the Reader).As it's not possible to have both Pro and Reader in the same PC, I find this obviously very nervy. Any solutions?Is it possible to make Pro "downgrade" and work as a Reader? I am making a form with a dropdown box containing a list of schools in our area. Is there a way to make the form field populate when the user tabs to it and enters in something on their keyboard instead of the user having to use a mouse to select which option to choose?  In other words, if the user is inputting data in each field, how can I get this particular dropdown box field to populate with a name of a school just by having the user start typing the school and then pressing the tab key to move to the next field once the school name comes up? Or is that even possible?  I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro Ver 2024. Thanks in advance 🙂

Hey Adobe community. I have tried using the help chat with this but go around in circles.We sent out employee updates each week, which require the employee to sign the document. The signed document then needs to be saved to the employee's file.As we sent in bulk, for some reason, the signed documents are not returning to our admin email and only are accessed through the documents tab within Adobe. This means we have to open each one, download the document, upload, and then save to the relevant folder. If I send a single update, though, I get an email back, and it is easy to see who it is from and save the PDF directly. Saves so much time. Is there a setting I have missed to make each signed update come back via email? Really hoping someone can help. Thanks heaps.

So I am using an arbitrary mask for a French form. If I apply the wrong format, it will give a warning. (eg. 999 999 999 for social security number format). Unfortunately, I do not know how to get that warning in French, unless I do so using java script. Can someone help me with a custom script I can use to replace the English warning?Thank you so much!

Hello, when using comment's with Acrobat DC there is always my computers user name showing up.Because of i am using my PC for job and private i want to completely hide my username from documents.In the settings i can enter all userdata but not the username which is greyed out. 1) How i can change the authors name when commenting? 2) When changing the authors name, is the computers username still saved in the documents metadata? If yes is it possible to change this aswell? Thank you very much in advance 🙂

Issue: Editing another user's comment or annotation in a PDF changes the comment username to the editor instead of maintaining the original user's name in Desktop versions of Acrobat Pro. This is not tied to the preference "Always  Use Log-in Name For Author Name." Impact: This is change in behavior and disrupts with managed multiple reviewer workflows. Often a person project managing routing wants to clean up/clarify comments before routing to different audiences. This workflow is frequently used in anonymous workflows or workflows where not all information is appropriate or clear for the audience downstream. Often our files have 500-1000 comments for proofreading. Being able to clean up comments instead of replying reduces amount of comments in a file, streamlines the conversations, protects sensitvie information, and means files are less likely to crash or need to be split into multiple PDFs.  For the examples below, users have different names set for login

I added a long table (that overflows to a 2nd page) to my Articles panel, thinking it will be read in Acrobat. Unfortunately, the whole table doesn't show at all. Even if I tag it manually using the Accessibility feature (Reading Order), that doesn't work. What could I possibly be doing wrong?The table should come after the <Sect> and unfortunately, it isn't there.

Hello! I'm tagging  a document to make it accessible, and it contains a figure with a caption that both labels the figure and contains standalone text. For example, "Figure 2. This is the caption of the above figure." The PDF assocation Tagged PDF Best Practice Guide: Syntax states: "In tagged PDF, <LBL> elements are not limited to lists, and are always explicitly contained.  <Lbl> structure elements may be used whenever content serves as a label for some other content, for example, “Fig: 123” in a caption for a <Figure>." This and other guidance make me think that tagging such a caption as stated (a caption parent tag for the whole caption with a label child tag for the labelling text such as "Figure 2") would be best practice. However, I can't find guidance on how to correctly create such a tag structure in Acrobat Pro DC, or what the corresponding container structure as viewed in the content panel should look like.
