I cannot set an e-signature and get the following error: "You can no longer request e-signatures with this user profile." Does anyone have a resolution?

Hi! I am on a mac and used Acrobat to edit a document with over one hundred pages. I did a significant amount of editing and then realized I should hit save. When I did, an error popped up saying, "this is open in another window and cannot save" and then the document crashed. It was 'loading' for hours when I was hopeful it could still recover. I eventually forced quit Acrobat and I am looking for the temporary files. I have the auto-save setting on. But I cannot find anywhere in my mac where temporary files are saved. Any suggestions? Other programs will automatically reopen documents that weren't saved if my laptop restarts. I am about ready to cut my losses and start over, putting hours in to recreate what I lost, but I am worried I still have this issue and the same thing could happen to me again because I don't understand what I did wrong.

I have called Adobe support several times now asking them to do an "activation count reset" and none of them will perform this simple task. I even asked to speak with a supervisor and all they would do is arrange a call back. Any suggestions? They act like they dont know how to do an "activation account reset" and just want to push and sell a monthly subscription. I bought the Acobat X Pro CD with serial from a computer store on March 3rd and tried to activate it, but it keeps saying it was already activated on 2 other computers and that I must deactivate it on the other  2 computers. I only have 1 computer, so I dont understand why its saying anything about any other computers. Support as I mention is useless and all they want to do is sell you a monthly subscription to something I dont want. When I called them, all I said was I need "An Activation Reset" and gave them the serial number and my name an email address. He tells me that that product Acrobat X Pro is no longer support

I have a form sent to me so I can't edit it. The text box is where I can write by name, but I also need to sign that part. I'm able to fill that part out and put a digital signature over it. But the signature is always hidden by the text box. I thought this might be just a visual error, but saving it / sending it back to the company, the signatures are still behind the text boxes. Does anyone know how to make the digital signatures come out front? Attached is the blank form. Clicking the fill & sign lets you fill the text boxes. You can add signatures, but it always gets hidden by the text box. 

Recently I have to convert and combine a huge amount of .eps files (about 10.000 files), creating a pdf file of QR codes, and these codes have to be centered in the page. I have tried many things but didn't work, the QR code always stays on the left of the page. Please help!

Hello, I'd like to display Image1 if a field totals a score between 48 and 54, display Image2 if a field totals a score greater than or equal to 55, and hide both images if they don't meet that criteria. I've tried with a the image as a Button and as a straight-up image. I can't get it to work where they're hidden unless they meet that criteria OR to display if they DO meet either criteria. Please help. 🙂

Adobe currently in certain fields is converting the number to the attached image (1.#r). IF I click the field it goes back to a number. Is there a way to change or make it show as the number 100% of the time? (instead of 1.#r) Adobe acrobat 2020.05.30574I cant attach many images as it's private information.

Users of older perpetual licence products may not be aware that Adobe Customer Service are no longer able to reset your Activation Count if you hard disk fails or if you mess up the deactivation/reactivation when transferring your software from one computer to another. You will therefore eventually lose the use of your software.Whilst I understand that Adobe may no longer wish to support these older products, they have no right to block our lawful use of them. It is my opinion that the withdrawal of the reset service is an appallingly dishonest action by Adobe intended to force us into costly software upgrades.I have written today to the Adobe UK office at Maidenhead to request that my Activation Counts are reset to remove spurious activations, and that they restore a long term mechanism for activation resets. I have advised them that I will seek to recover my software license costs from them, should they fail to do so.I am making this Community post to request that other UK users join

Ive found that when copying and pasting comments in Acrobat, sometimes the comment is pasted in the same place as where it was copied from relative to the document, other times it pastes to the same location it was copied from relative to the viewport, and other times it just pastes to the center of the document. Is there any way to decide where it pastes to, or am I just at the whim of Acrobat? The behavior feels random, but I'm hoping it's not. 

Hallo,ich habe die Tage meinen PC neu aufgesetzt und Windows 11 zum ersten Mal installiert.  Nun habe ich versucht mein Acrobat Pro zu installieren. Leider kann ich es nicht aktivieren, es tritt ein Syntax Error auf. Ein Screenshot befindet sich im Anhang. Ich logge mich im Browser ein, aber es passiert nichts. Auch der Button, der auftaucht für den Fall, dass es nicht funktioniert, hat leider nicht funktioniert.Ich habe bereits die Schritte in der Fehlerbehebung (Link 1) versucht:In meinen Browsereinstellung ist Java Script aktiviert. Ganz unten in der Anleitung sind noch ein paar Links und Fehlercodes aufgeführt, keiner davon hilft mir weiter. Hello, I have two PDF documents on my tablet. First of all, I worked on one document and created several bookmarks. Then I moved to the second document and saw that the bookmarks from the first document were shown in the second one. Why is this happening?

Does anyone have a script for Average Time of Day? for example Time1 11:00 Time2 12:00 average time of day would be 11:30. Thanks

I have a scanned document, a simple list of text. It's crooked, and I want to straighten it.I know that the 'enhance PDF' will produce a list of options, one of which is 'deskew.' I've done that. It didn't help; the document is still crooked. Am I missing something? I just want to rotate the whole image by a small amount; I don't really care if it's automatic or I have to do it. Acrobat Pro DC for Mac, Yosemite 10.10.5. The scan was with a cheap HP all-in-one, if that matters, but it shouldn't.Thanks,/s/ Rankin Johnson IVrankin@briefwright.com

Adobe PDF showed a new feature that allows you to use (firefly) their AI tools to edit images in a PDF.   The main issue I have is one of the pictures is split across pages.  1/3 of the image is on the bottom of the previous page and 2/3 of the image are at the top of the next one.   This would be an amazing feature, select the pieces of the broken image, stitch them together, and replace them in the document as a whole picture at the top of the next page.   There is no easy way to do this currently, but this sounds like a job for AI. 

Occasionally Acrobat will remove custom calculation javascript from a field property - open text field properties, go to  Calculate.  Usually there is a snipit of the javascript viewable in the Custom Calculation  Script box but sometimes the javascript will show for a second then the field seems to reset back to 'value is not calculated'.  It seems to happen more often on forms that have a lot of custom calculations or validations.  Sometimes closing the form without saving and closing Adobe too will clear the issue, sometimes I have to completely restart either my laptop or desktop (depending on which I'm using). Even then the issue can continue.   I can't use Undo as the removal is not captured in the edit history. Laptop - Acrobat PRO (subscription) 2024.005.20320Desktop - Acrobat PRO 2017 classic 2017.012.30262 Any brilliant suggestions what might be causing this and how to stop it?Thanks

I've looked all over in the community forums and tried a few things that people suggested  I am having trouble finding the right script to calculate hours between a start date/time and the end date/time. I am not sure if the problem lies with the input fields or the spot where I am inputting the script I never have to work with scripts - just need some help this one time. 

I'm seeing this error when I export pdf files from InDesign:"An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem." There is another post about this, but even though it says it was solved it really wasn't. Also, that post is 5 years old so I thought I'd try again.  I looked at the pre-flight panel in InDesign, and it said "No Errors."  InDesign and Acrobat are both the latest versions: InDesign: 18.4Acrobat: 2023.003.20244macOS: 13.4.1 The error message is so vague, I am not sure where to start. "An error exists..." is so Sartre-esque. Everything looks good, there are no missing elements or artifacts.  TIA everyone   

Hi, I have a problem with the AI assistant. The size of the document is 336 pages (4.6 MB) (attached). I use Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2024.003.20180 It does not work both on the app and on the web: It is either "An error occurred. Please try again." or "Something went wrong. Please, try again".   I work on Mac Sequoia 15.1  How to solve the problem? Thanks,Kinga 

Having issues with Acrobat DC in Windows 11 - the title bar just disappears - either randomly when starting or when the mouse hovers from content to title bar. ALT-SPACE allows me to switch between window modes which is a tedius workaround - no such problems ith Photoshop/Illustrator.

Greetings! I'm trying to figure out how to upload a PDF, and although I have indeed managed to do with before, I'm not seeing any way to get this accomplished. Any tips would be appreciated 👍🙂 

I have a form that a user enters an amount to be funded, then enters individual amounts of fundings and fees that it must equal. If the sum of the individual funds and fees does not equal the amount to be funded, I'd like to show the amount to be funded box in red to bring it to their attention. I created a hidden field that sums the individual funds and fees ("TotalFundings").The field the user enters the amount to be funded is ("AmountFunded")I have a custom calculation in the ("AmountFunded") as follows: var fund = this.getField("AmountFunded").value;var total = this.getField("TotalFundings").value;{if(fund == total)   event.target.fillColor = color.white;else if (fund != total)   event.target.fillColor = color.red;} The only time the "AmountFunded" field is red is only when I click in the box.  I'd like it to be red the entire time as amounts are entered and change to white when the amounts equal.     

HolaTarda un montón en abrir los documentos, aunque solo sean de una página, y se queda colgado o no responde durante un buen rato cuando quieres hacer algo con el documento, como pasar de una página a otra si es de varias páginas.Lo utilizo casi a diario y se está volviendo un problema porque me hace perder un montón de tiempo. Si sigue así, voy a buscar otra alternativa para los PDFs.Un saludoLuis
