Hi,I'm using Adobe Pro DC.  My PDF documents must be saved so the bookmarks are displayed when it's opened.  Can the document properties by set to default to these settings so I don't have to set them each time?  =>  file properties | initial view | navigation tab (bookmark/panel&page) | page layout (single page continuous) | magnification (fit width) | open to page 1Thank you.

Despite reading the instructions and trying to set up a digital signature, I have only been able to draw and set up a digital signature but every time I place the signature on a document, the date and time stamp do not show. How can I get the date and time stamp to show on the document. Thanks

Hi,I've used the "Send for signature" tool in PDF.Whenever I start typing an email adress, a drop-down list appears everytime with past email adress used previously.Is it possible to clear this list (email history) and how do you proceed?The reason behind this is to make sure I don't use an email adress which had a typo in it... Since it is a long email adress, I can't see which email is the good one since the typo is at the end.Thank you in advance!P.S.: I work on a Mac (Apple). 

How do I export my pdf file to word. I want to have all text items not in individual text boxes. need the .pdf when exported in .doc format do display all lines and text not surrounded by individual text boxes.   Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 17   [personal email removed by moderator.]   Note: Never ever leave a personal email or any personal contact information in a public forum. Now I’d like to distribute it, but with protection in place to prevent users from accessing the structure of the form or copying the scripts.I applied password protection to restrict editing, allowing users to fill out the form but not modify the pages. However, this causes a problem: script execution is blocked with a warning that the current permissions do not allow operations on templates.In my form, various templates are used to generate pages, which are shown or hidden depending on user input. This functionality is blocked unless page modification is allowed — but if I enable that, the form’s structure and scripts become fully visible.So, I tried a different approach: all templates are hidden, and I use spawn() to generate pages. Hola queria hacer un pdf de una sola hoja, donde tuviera hipervinculos donde al hacer clic se dirigia a otro pdf aparte y asi con cada boton. Veo que una de las opciones cuando quieres adjuntar en adobe acrobat es "Abrir un archivo", pero cuando guardo ese pdf y lo abro, no me sale nada para hacer clic, aunque haya puesto esa opcion para que abra otro archivo pdf. Alguien sabe como se puede solucionar?

I am trying to upload a manuscript with a lot of image that bleed to KDP and they will only take a pdf. I also have to have margins exact before they will accept it; however, every time I convert to pdf, it adds a white strip border down the entire side of the document.  I cannot find anything online that will help me fix this that actually matches Word 2019 or pdf's from 2024. Hi! If I highlight text from an article in Adobe Pro DC, is there a way I can see, how much/the percentage that highlighted text constitutes of the complete text?

I am using the latest Windows version of Acrobat Pro (no updates are available). Lately when I have tried to compress a pdf, the result is a pdf whose size is greater that what it started with. Since this is the predominate reason I purchased the product, this is a real problem. This used to work quite well for a single file as well as for multiple files, but not now. Greetings,I've asked this before and sort of knew the answer. I can change the name of a PDF file only on my mobile phone as of last year anyway it's impossible to change the file name of a PDF opened in any Adobe on the computer. Now that Adobe rolled out its AI version of Adobe I'm asking if can I somehow ask AI to change the name of my PDF file? You know what I mean it's frustrating to get a banking statement and after you download it it reads 56748811.pdf and you want to be able to find it fast if needed, so you rename it CapitalOne-State-03-15-2025. You know? Frustrating I have no idea why I can do that on my Android Phone however, not with a Windows computer?.

Since the 2023 update to Acrobat I can no longer view large images zoomed in. I design artwork for print at a few metres in width, and I used to be able to zoom in at 100 or 200% to check on detail. Since the 2023 version Acrobat will just freeze if I zoom past around 50%, and random white blocks appear over the image. I've turned off image smoothing and it makes no difference. Does anyone have a solution? I'm on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra with 128gb of RAM, so it's not for a lack of firepower. Used to work fine up until the 2023 version. It's really hindering my workflow.

I'm creating a form where I have people registering for an event.There is a drop down list for users to select 0-4 people in attendance. I have a regex problem.In my form (attached), after selecting the country in the drop-down list, the user has to enter a code which must correspond to the pattern of his country.The pattern is passed as a variable from the drop-down menu value.   In this example, I have a problem with Argentina, Australia and Austria: if the user enters too few digits, the entry is invalidated. As expected, this is OK. But if the user enters too many digits, the entry is not invalidated, e.g. for Australia he has to enter 8 or 9 digits, but if he enters more it is not invalidated and this is not OK.   I've tried with several different regexes, for example for Australia I use :\\d\{8,9\}or\\d\\d\\d\\d\\d\\d\\d\\d(\\d)?but the issue is still the same.   Is this a bug or have I missed something? Diese kann ich nun herunterladen, kann diese aber nicht aktivieren, weil ich sie kaufen sollte. Habe nun diese im Account gelöscht, versuchte auf dem Portal "redeem.adobe.com/classic" die Lizenz erneut zu aktivieren. Geht nicht weil mir mitgeteilt wird, dass diese bereits benutzt wurde. Wer kann mir helfen? 

Hi. I'm brand new to editing forms directly in Adobe, and have even less java experience. I've inherited a form someone else set up, and am trying to fix a bad calculation. Well, actually, to add a calucation. The form is used to request refunds of prepaid admittance fees to an event. It allows you to add up to ten people, depending upon how many you originally registered. Refunds are supposed to cost a $10 per person processing fee. The form creator added ten fields named "Amount1" to "Amount10". They did a calculation for "AmountTotal" using the formula of "Value is the sum (+) of the following fields" and then listed the 10 AmountX fieldnames separated by commas. They then added a field named "AmountLess Processing Fee", but did not add a formula. It currently is hard coded to -$10.  Then they created a field named "AmountRefund Due", with a formula of "Value is the sum (+) of the following fields: AmountTotal, AmountLess Processing Fee". I have a bank document PDF, and just need to delete, or paint over in white, a select fill of words of text/ actually bank account numbers. Even though I'm 25 years in PHotoshop. I could not after fifteen minutes figure out how to select a couple of words of text and delete.  I also could not find a pen tool to write over or paint over. Also could not find a way to select and fill.  Extremely frustrating, as I'd have this done easly in 1 min in Photoshop. I was able to bring it into photoshop, but then PS seperates the pages. I even googled how to do this , but did not help, some goofy tips on commeing .. Totally flustred.I knew Acrobat would be harder than photoshop, but I though after 15- 20 mintues, I'd find one of those three methods, but no totally stuck. Thanks!

Several years ago I scanned a group of files and secured the PDF - I thought I used my usual password but it doesn't open up this one file.  I have tried several methods suggested online but nothing works.  Does anyone know how to unlock my PDF?  Thank you

Hello, Starting today, I've noticed Acrobat is not displaying PDFs properly. It looks like all text is missing. However, the PDFs display perfectly fine using other PDF programs (even Acrobat Reader!). This happens when printing to PDF from a browser, however it doesn't seem to matter which browser is used. See attached file which shows screenshot of PDF printout of adobe.com homepage in both Acrobat and Acrobat reader. Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling. PDF printouts were working fine a few days ago. Any help would be massively appreciated!
