I am trying to re-number some documents for a production, but I keep getting an error message that Adobe is unable to remove the bates numbers. The error message says:"Adobe Acrobat cannot find any Bates Numbering in this file. If you see Bates Numbering information, it was not added in Adobe Acrobat or by an Adobe PDFMaker, and cannot be detected as such."I literally used Adobe to add the numbers earlier today, why am I getting this message? I need to re-number and produce these docs today.

Work computers updated, I turned off the new version of Acrobat Pro so I could keep using the thumbnails to extract multiple pages and make new files in Explorer. The old version would auto-prompt for a save name when dropping the pages in File Explorer. It was easy to drag, rename, save, delete in seconds with barely any clicks or keys.  Now, it won't ask me to name the file, and just says Extracted Pages. I have to stop, move over, rename, move back, delete... For bulk scans, this would add a gross amount of time each pay period better spent elsewhere.  Question: How can I get Acrobat to prompt every time for a file name when drag/dropping files to new locations?

I've been using this script and it worked perfectly in the previous document. All I did was change the button names (shortened them). Now that I updated the document and changed the form field names, it is now delaying the action. It was instant before. Now, when I select "Other" int he drop down list, it still skips the hidden form field unless I click tab a few times or if I have to physically place my mouse in the form field. Turned my computer on today, haven't used any Adobe applications yet. Suddenly I get a desktop notification about your AI garbage from Acrobat. My company is paying for your rip off subscription model and frankly I'm furious. If this nonsense continues I will cancel everything, forever. So sick and tired of missguided companies trying to shove their failed AI investments into everyone's face. It's bad enough how prominently you display this garbage in your software to try tricking people into using it. And now you have the audacity to push this on the desktop without me even interacting with your program at all. Unbelievable. You're not even using the right localization you absolute buffoons.

I have been having exactly the same problem for a while and it is very frustrating. Could anyone look at this with a fresh set of eyes please?To recap, the problem is that when I am trying to open a pdf file from Windows Explorer with a double-click of the mouse, and the preview pane is open, the file usually doesn't open with the first click. I must keep clicking repeatedly. I am working with Acrobat Pro DC version 2021.005.20060, Windows 10 Pro version 2004. If the preview pane is not open, the problem does not occur.

I want to be able to create html code and the pdf will be the background of the page.1. I imported an image file into a pdf in order to have a background for the pdf form2. Then I switched to form mode and placed some so-called text fields on the pdf above which there is an image background.3. Finally, I thought I could create a web page on which there are the text fields with the locations and the background of the page will be the original pdf document4. What I saw in the html code is just the background image without the fields. how can I generate html web page with all the fields ?

Error: One page missed in printing from big file i from  Adobe acrobat reader on Windows 10 Home 64bitI have a large pdf file of shipping labels file size more than 4MB. This problem was happening dailly so i contacted printer support  but didn't find any help. So i search online and found one clew. Here are my findings. One file has 180 pages and the other has 214 page both are 4MB PLUS .When I print in the acrobat, it sends all pages to the printer according to the print job file but it does not print all pages. It prints 179 out of 180 from one file and it prints 213 out of 214 from another file. So basically it is skipping or missing one page from printing. However the print job shows all pages but the actual printer is missing one page.I printed it multiple times and it always skipped print on the same page So i searched online and cleared two things in settings of adobe acrobat reader 2024.003.20112 os Windows 10 Home 64bit and it reso

Hello, I have a user whom I have been troubleshooting an ongoing issue with. We host shared drives that users store files in and have no issues on Windows.However, our only Mac user experiences crashes when saving PDFs inside one of the shared drives.  The process is:User creates a new PDF or edits an existing PDF -> Clicks save -> Crashes both Acrobat and server/shared drive -> No edits to the PDF were saved I have tried the following troubleshooting steps already:1. Reinstalling Adobe Acrobat (both via Adobe Cloud app and directly from the website)2. Resetting the "Preferences" in Adobe Acrobat3. Deleted the "AccessabilityPlugin folder" which has been reported online to cause issues

I found a similar question from about a year ago (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/why-are-my-files-being-saved-as-a-23-file/m-p/14136498) and have used the solution in the link (locate and delete .24 folder in Registry Editor) multiple times but in the past week I've been getting .24 files and .2024 files and they are not showing up in Registry Editor this time. Might they be hiding in a folder in RegEdit? This is happening at work and is therefore quite problematic. 

I bought a Alogic Clarity Max Touchscreen Monitor.I have Adobe Pro and am unable to enlarge (zoom in) PDFs by using touch (two finger pinch) on the touchscreen monitor.I can enlarge PDFs (using a two finger pinch) on my Surface pro screen, but am not able to do this on the touchscreen monitor.I can enlarge other programs on the touchscreen monitor (using a two finger pinch) such as Word, Internet, jpeg, but I can't enlarge PDFs on the touchscreen monitor using a two finger pinch.Does anyone know how I can enlarge PDFs on my touchscreen monitor?

Apologies ahead of time for the long post. I currently use the DC version at work. I have been using Adobe Acrobat for 20+ years creating approximately 5,000 pdf files a year and the recent interface "update" made to Acrobat appears to be non-sensical and throws muscle memory of power users like myself out the window. Yes, I know I can go back to the previous interface but knowing how "updates" work, eventually the new interface will be force fed to users and some changes are, well... an issue. I would like some help in figuring out how to fix some things (thumbnails panel and plugins) and hope that other issueslisted below will eventually make it to an acrobat tech. Save Button Placement - why move the save button to the far right of the Menu Bar? Hello, I received signed document from outside my organization (required). However, when I try to save the document onto my desktop, hard-drive, etc. The signature I received disappears. Why is this? How do I fix this? I need the document to be saved onto BOX and not Adobe Cloud. Is there a way to fix this issue?  Thank you 

I have several PDFs that are protected and will only open if I have the FileOpen app installed.  I've had these for a few years, however, this week Acrobat will not open if I have the FileOpen app installed.  If I try to open the PDF it opens a browser and prompts for the FileOpen.exe and installation of the app.  If I do that Acrobat will not open.  Any suggestions?

This week my notifications as well as the completed documents have stopped being sent to my default email address. I now have to go into the website to pull the signed agreements and the audit page them combine them. I have cheked all of my settings and had an Adobe tech on who was not able to fix this any ideas? Was this a new update possibly that has a fuw bugs to work out?

I have a fill-in PDF document that is locking the fields when the user saves the document.  I design the form in InDesign, then export to PDF, then add fill-in fields using Acrobat Pro.  The users generally have only Adobe Reader.  When I save the fill-in documents, I do Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in and save) ...  I have been doing this for many years.  This most recent document, though, is locking the fillable fields when the user saves the document, even if they haven't signed it.  The document goes to several people to review, add their comments, and then sign.  I have the signature fields set to only lock the signature and date signed field for that each signature.  What can I do to fix it?

Hi, We use Microsoft Excel (desktop version) but our files are stored within SharePoint, note, we have to use the desktop version of excel due to the limitation of the online excel. Any changes sync back up to SharePoint via OneDrive software.We link supporting documents (PDF files) to this excel document. The PDF files are stored in the same location on SharePoint.I can open these files directly on SharePoint using the new Adobe Document Cloud program and edit/highlight/annotate as needed. but.... When clicking on the hyperlink from within the Desktop Microsoft Excel file - it opens on the default Chrome browser PDF tool rather than opening it from within Adobe Document Cloud so we can have the ability to edit etc.Is there a way to direct excel to open these hyperlinks via SharePoint Adobe Document Cloud? ThanksPaul

I have a web form that I send to patients to fill out new patient paperwork. This contains 4 different things I need and one they need. Is there a way to split the download so that when they've submitted it, the download file is split into File 1 (to be deleted), File 2, File 3, etc.  Ideally with specific names for each one? Right now the process is to extract those pages which Adobe hasn't really figured out yet and is super tedious.  Panda sign has the option to do this.

Hi,I am an administrator.  I have a request from my management to add/delete items to the quick tools toolbar and deploy it to all users.   Software:  Acrobat DC 32bitOS:  Win10, 22H2 How do I do this?   Adobe Support pointed me to the installation wizard.  I saw nothing in there to address this.  I'm ok with modify the registry through GPO, or using roaming profile.  Please help.     

Took quite a bit of time to find out what was causing the lines.. We edit abstracts, we have a records system that has stored scans of court documents in .tif format.  To add these to an abstract we need to print them off from that program to PDF files, many of these scans are not straight so I have been using  the deskew feature in "Scan and OCR" in the "Optimize Scanned Pages".  I turn off all but the "Descreen" in "FIlters" So no adaptive compression, no recognize text, background removal, or text sharpening. This works well, however using this tool on pages that have been printed with the Adobe Print to PDF printer that is installed with Adobe Acrobate Standard 2020, random lines are added to the page, when complete.  No lines are added from pages that have been scanned in, only pages that have been printed with the adobe print to PDF printer.  Why is this happening and what can I do to prevent it?  I have tried turning off font smoothin

I am a Graphic Arts teacher in a prison (limited internet access). I need to Package an entire curriculum; videos, Lesson plans, tests, ETC. into 1 all inclusive interactive PDF to transport from computer to computer for a presentation but when i do, it changes the file extension therefore losing the links.I am currently using: Acrobat X, CS6 InDesign.
