I would like a simple way to export form data in a PDF as an FDF file. Currently, i can do it manually: Prepare Form > More > Export Data > SaveBut I would like a button or action or something to do it with one step.I found this page explaining how to make a button to do it: Setting action buttons in PDF forms, Adobe Acrobat But this procedure only will upload the form data to a webserver or as an email with an attached FDF file. I just want to save the FDF file, with the same name as the source PDF, in the same directory.Any ideas? Thanks very much. -Steve

Running Microsoft 365. Have Adobe Cloud. When I print to PDF from Microsoft Word, the resulting PDF file has all of the text greyed out -- very faint. I've tried resaving the Word file, saving as and selecting PDF, directly printing to PDF, and using Microsoft's built in option of save to PDF. All result in the same grey text. It also looks like header fonts have not rendered correctly. I'm using Windows-based fonts -- Libre Franklin. I've tried using other fonts. Same results. Ideas?
Hi, I work in IT and a costumer of mine has following issue. on the SQL Server we save many .pdf Files which are named with numbers. (1.pdf/2.pdf etc.) Now I have a Microsoft Ticket open since May (When the issue appeared) and we can't seem to find a solution. MS was able to find out that Adobe IFilter can not see any Content of the PDF Files and therefore won't write down any Information in the Windows Search Database which is used for the Windows Search. We tried many thing already: - Updating - Reinstalling Adobe Reader / IFilter - Installing IFilter through HTTP and FTP - Uninstalling most Porgramms which work with pdf Files - Deactivating Anti Virus / Firewall- .pdf Files are not temporary files (Attribute 0x20)- Ownership of folder and permissions are ok- Created another folder in C: Drive -> same issue - Checked Indexing Settings and reindexed folder - Checked Folderpermission to be indexed - all DISM / S
have encountered an issue with an employee where, upon opening a new tab in Adobe Acrobat, the expected functionality is not working as intended and crashes. I attempted to resolve the problem by disabling the temporary fix "New Adobe", but unfortunately, this did not work. Do we have an alternative solution or a more effective fix for this issue?
Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 no longer combines my Excel files into PDF. It works for Word files, other PDFs. Is there a security setting in either program that will fix this?
I cobbled up this script to gether to Delete last 2 pages from every 10 pages in a pdf using javascript but get the error message this.deletepages is not a function. Any help would be appreciated as I have no clue what I am doing. if (app.viewerVersion < 10) {app.addMenuItem({ cName: "Delete last 2 of every 10 pages", cUser: "Delete last 2 of every 10 pages", cParent: "Tools", cExec: "Deletelast2ofevery10pages(this)", cEnable: "event.rc = (event.target != null);"}); } else {app.addToolButton({ cName: "Delete last 2 of every 10 pages", cLabel: "Delete last 2 of every 10 pages", cTooltext: "Delete last 2 of every 10 pages", cExec: "Deletelast2ofevery10pages(this)", cEnable: "event.rc = (event.target != null);"}); }/* Delete last 2 of every 10 pages in the document */// Double slash at front of line is a commentfunction Deletelast2ofevery10pages(doc) {try { for (var i = 0; i < this.numPages; i += 10) {t
I have the whole CC suite. I use Photoshop and Illustrator regularly on this relatively new, powerful Windows 10 machine with no problem. But when I try to edit (or even open) an existing PDF in Acrobat, it usually freezes up, the "wait" pointer or "busy" pointer, for ten to sixty seconds, then goes back to standard pointer for just a second or three, then back to the wait or busy for another long period, back and forth. I can sometimes actually do something quick, like click to select or insert, for the seconds it's the normal pointer, but often cannot. It will do this for five or ten minutes, then eventually will start behaving normally, and I can use it. This is a real problem when I'm needing to get something done for a client in a timely fashion.Rebooting doesn't help. It's the latest version of Acrobat (According to CC).My machine has 32 gigs of RAM, a 12th gen i5-12600K that handles Photoshop just fine, and is booted on an SSD.It happens with small or lar
Has anyone encountered this behavior on Acrobat 64 bit 24.005.20320 on Windows 11?The window of closing a file with saving changes loses resources, after which Acrobat hangs completely, and the only thing left is to remove it through Task Manager.
I need to draw a box and put text inside the box that people can read. When I draw a box using the comment tool, it covers up the text I've written. When I use the comment text function to write text, it won't place the text where I click, and the text gets smaller and smaller as I add more text to it. How do I create a text box that will let me place the text ON TOP of the box, and let me place it exactly where I need it to go?
I have been using Canva to create a document and have exported it as a PDF, into Acrobat (I have an Acrobat Pro subscription). I have added Form Fields and Drop downs, but can't see a way to edit the text, as it is exported from Canva as a scan. What's the easiest way around this issue, as I want to avoid having to use 2 platforms to make any future changes to the document.
Since 3-4 days ago, any Pdf that I "Fill and Sigh" ot "Comment", turns the Hebrew fonts to Gibbeish after saving or mailing it. Latin fonts and nubers remain as they were. What happened?!
Hi Everyone,I’m working on a requirement to send multiple agreements for e-signature in a single email. However, when I send multiple document IDs in a single API call to Adobe, it combines them into one agreement, adds a signature block at the end of the last document, and sends a single email for signing. This approach does not meet our needs because we need each document to be treated as a separate agreement with its own signature block. Has anyone encountered this before or knows of a way to send multiple separate agreements in a single email, with each document receiving its own signature block? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
My team is reporting slowness in using Acrobat Pro DC hafter thet latest August 2024 update. Spins for minutes in some cases.
I am attempting to download Adobe Acrobat Pro on Mac os 11 on my Mac Book Pro, and it keeps saying the file is corrupted or you do not have the proper software to open it. I have attempted downloading from 15 different locations on Adobe support, and I have the same result. I can't get ANY support from Adobe. It just sends me back into a continuous circle of NOWHERE!!
Over the last few days, every time I open a PDF generated from AutoCAD, it hangs and does not respond, and I cannot work on it. I tried all updates and troubleshooting and nothing worked, please I need a solution because all my work is on it.

I'm trying to create an action to change page size of a whole folder of PDFs (and save a copy without altering the originals) from their original size (usually 9x12 in) to US Letter (8.5 x 11 in).Using the Crop tool failed already outside of the action, saying that the page could not be resized. Besides, adding the Save action at the end since I want to save a copy of the original files, not change them asked me this for each file:This didn't happen for other actions I created, it was just working as intended, opening > processing > closing the file and moving on iteratively. Now, I should use the Print Production > Preflight > Scale to specific size function but when I go to try to create an action for that, it doesn't work. How can I succeed here?It seems to me that resizing PDFs should be a quite straightforward action in 2025 but, instead, I am not finding quick, reliable, repeatable ways. Thank you for your help.
