I have designed a fillable form that includes a dropdown list allowing the user to enter custom text.  However, when the fill & sign feature is used if the user enters custom text I receive an error stating "Drop down default value not present in options" and I am not able to proceed with the allowed custom text.   How can I ensure that custom text can be used in a drop down using the Fill & Sign feature? Thanks! 

My Adobe Acrobat Pro DC starts up in selection mode and I would like it to start up in pan mode.  Is there a way to change this default method of start up?Thanks,TT

I made template certification file throught illustrator, then exported to pdf.Client love to edit the template himself on Acrabat,  and he want me lock other elements on that file but just keep the name/date editable.how can i do it?should I rasterize the background (to make the other element to a raster image) but just keep the name/date editable in Illustrator, then re-export it to PDF?or i should set password for protecting the PDF file?  if client forget the passaword, then that file is useless, is that practibale to use password?Any suggestions? i haven't done any Acrobat setting before, please give me advice. I have a 45 page PDF report in which I've created several links to pages in the document and attachments.I've discovered how to force the links to open in a new tab (in Preferences) for me but when the document is opened by others the link opens in the same window as the document requiring them to open the document again to continue reading.Is there any way of forcing links to open in a new tab or window for everyone regardless of their Preference settings?

Checkbox LICENSES has a Mouse Up action to hide/show textbox Text4 with the following script:if (event.target.value === "Off") {this.getField("Text4").display = display.hidden;} else {this.getField("Text4").display = display.visible;} Button Clear Form has a Mouse Up action to reset a form. I checked the checkbox LICENSES, textbox Text4 appears so I can enter some information.When I clicked on the Clear Form button, the checkmark was cleared from checkbox LICENSES and the information I entered was cleared from textbox Text4. However the textbox Text4 itself stays visible. How to re-hide all fields that were originally hidden after I Reset A Form? Thank you.

Is there a keyboard Shortcut to open the Organize Pages Tool?

I was commenting on a PDF in Acrobat (it has 96 comments on it, so far).  Suddenly, the comments line in the menu became grayed out (it may have happened when I saved the file-I habitually save files), and when I went to security settings, where it says that everything is allowed, but the security option is grayed out, as is every other property setting.  I have a clean copy of the file, that can be altered, but I do not want to copy 96 comments to it and 30 bookmarks.  Note that the problem is local to this file.  What do I do?  I have tried reopening the file, using SaveAs to a different name, reopening Acrobat.  I haven't tried restarting my computer.

Hi. I have a script for calculations that are giving me a problem.  I enter time 1 and the other 3 times are calculated.  I can also, edit times and the following times are calculated.  The problem I am having is that Time 4 calculation doesn't always register.  I have to delete and reenter the prior times to get it to calculate.  Can someone recommend a solution? Ich habe auf die aktuelle Acrobat-Version 2024.002.20759 aktualisiert.Nun ist es beim Schließen von geöffneten Dokumenten so, dass das darauf folgende Dialogfenster (speichern / nicht speichern / abbrechen) keinen focus bekommt. Ich muss dann immer in das Dialogfenster reinklicken, anstatt bequem über Tastatur die Auswahl zu treffen.Ich verwende Acrobat auf Mac OS Sonoma 14.5 Ist dieses Problem bekannt und hat vielleicht jemand eine Lösung hierfür?

I'm recently having an issue with lagging documents if I try to open more than 1 at a time.  I'm using Windows 11 and found the problem before and fixed it, but maybe it's because of a recent update??  Can someone point me in the right direction?  I'm sure it's a setting.... Thanks!

Hi, I don't see the option to change the scale ratio anymore with the new version of Adobe Pro. Has it been removed?  This is what I see when I right-click somewhere after trying to measure something (it's in french).  There used to be at the top an option to change the scale ratio "Modifier la mise à l'échelle" where you could add scaling inputs.   Has it been moved somewhere else? I don't see it in the measure preferences of the document either.  Tried with multiple documents, including documents where I know I've been able to change the scale ratio before using the same technique.  Thanks.

I want to remove the container tags like "section" but if you delete them without cutting the inner content and repasting it above, it deletes all the content. Is there a way to alter the auto tag so it does not use container tags or a way to "level up" the children of the tag like you can do in Common Look?
