I have Windows 11. If I go into the Task Manager and End the Adobe Background Processes, then I can open one or two .pdfs. Then, every .pdf I open after that only opens in the background and I can't see it. So, I again go into Task Manager and "End" all Adobe background processes. And, when I am in there, I can see that there are a couple of .pdfs running in the background. Has anyone found a solution?  I have been "ending" Adobe Acrobat background processes all day long for the past year. Help!  Thank you.

Bonjour,  Si j'utilise la fonction envoyer via Outlook, je ne peux pas coller une adresse dans la barre de destinaires.Les données qui sont collées sont celle-ci : https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:EU:0...............Il semble que Acrobat impose l'adresse du lien vers le document. Merci de votre aide.

Hello All,A couple of coworkers with Adobe Acrobat Pro (024.003.020180) installed on newly upgraded Windows 11 machines are no longer able to open several PDFs from links in the Service Desk tickets on Jira Software.They are getting this message:One of the coworkers uses Firefox and the other uses Edge.  In Firefox, at least, there is the option to download the PDF and then she can open it with Adobe.  I feel like I am missing some setting adjustment here.  Any suggestions are welcome. 

I want to switch from acrobat pro 32 bit to acrobat pro 64 bit without losing the settings and buttons 🙏

Ein Hallo an die Community,mein Acrobat X habe ich mit dem CS6 Standard Bundle für Windows erworben und über viele Jahre ohne Probleme genutzt. Das Bundle ist unter meiner Adobe ID lizensiert und aktiv. Seit ich vor wenigen Tagen das Laufwerk C bereinigt habe, macht Acrobat Probleme. Vermutlich sind dabei wichtige Einträge verloren gegangen, aber welche? Bei jedem Programmstart kommt jetzt die Meldung: Testzeitraum abgelaufen / Diese Software lizensieren. Ich trage also die Nummer ein und kann bis zum Beenden des Programms damit arbeiten. Beim nächsten Start wieder dieselbe Prozedur. Eine Reparatur und auch eine De- und Neuinstallation waren erfolglos. Jetzt weiß ich mir keinen Rat mehr.Ich würde mich freuen, wenn mir hier jemand weiterhelfen kann.Gerti

Lo que sucede es que cuando se coloca la firma digital y se pone aceptar el programa se cierra. Al cerrarse se  crea igual el archivo con la firma digital pero está corrupta. Ya intenté con instalar y desinstalar el programa pero sigue sucediendo. Agradezco la colaboración.

I have a Korean file. When I perform text recognition on an English file (having English text), it works perfectly fine. But not on a Korean file.Can it be solved?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if it's possible at all to create an image field (in a form fillable PDF) which, upon clicking on it, allows to choose from a selection of images preloaded to the PDF somehow. Like, for example, adding the possibility to choose between three predefined images - and only those three - which would be available for all users, without them needing to have said images stored in their devices. I hope my question is easy to understand. Good morning, Just upgraded my PC and tried to move my Acrobat X Standard license over - unfortunately it says "This serial number is not valid for this product" even though the product was installed from the same installer file as the original PC. I assume this is a "Sorry we don't support Acrobat X any more and aren't even going to try to help you", but want to see if there is something I can do to transfer over the license file (e.g. copy registry entries from the , set up my own authentication server). Failing that does anybody have any recommendations for PDF editors that don't cost more than my Disney Plus subscription? I don't use it enough to justify this expense - I'm just more annoyed that Adobe would shut down its authentication servers and not release a patch to the software that auto approves the license key.

I work in law enforcement and have created PDF forms to help streamline our massive amount of paperwork. I also use a barcode scanner in other applications to scan drivers license and registration paperwork.I have been searching for a way to scan the barcode on a drivers license and have it populate into the PDF forms that I have created, but have not found a solution to this.Do any of you have an idea on how/if I can scan this info into my forms and have it populate the respected fields (name, dob, address, etc.) automatically? I am using both Acrobat XI and DC on different computers.Thanks in advance for any help or guidance!!!Corky

Hello, I have a question. If I have several word documents that contains links between each other and I will "combine" these documents and create one PDF file from them - is there any way how to make the links work between these documents but in the PDF file (not to be linked to the word file but to the same document in the combined PDF file)? Thanks a lot!

Hi,Up until a couple weeks ago, when I would open a pdf to review/edit, mark it up, and I could click Save As and it would bring up the folder of the previously saved file location.  Now, for some reason, everytime I go to Save As, instead of showing the folder where the pdf I opened resides, it shows me a window with only the only options of my desktop or downloads folder.  I then have to click the "Choose a different folder" and manually redirect to the originating folder with the pdf. Since part of my job is to review and comment on pdfs, it has become very a cumbersome process. All my other Adobe apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) default, Save As, to the previous folder, but for some reason, Acrobat does not.  Any tips or suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. I am running Acrobat Pro version 2024.004.20243 on Mac.Thanks,Neil
