Still unable to access Poster from print. Why is Adobe remaining silent on this.  

I've been pasting a specific PNG file with transparency in Acrobat Pro for several years with no issues. After an Adobe upgrade, the same image copied then pasted on the following page is reduced in size, has a black background and pastes in the center of the page. Before the upgrade, it would paste the image as it appeared on the prior page and place it in the same location on the page on which my cursor is located.   I don't see a solution that addresses this issue. The best solution so far has been to right click and select Replace Image, then move to the proper location and enlarge.   I thought this would clear up when I upgraded my PC and loaded all new software. Nope. Same result.   My System - Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, Windows 10 (Version 2004 build 19041.985); Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2021.001.20155.   Any ideas? I have a rental agreement that I would like to update with some conditional form fields. I allow my tenants to choose either a 3-month or 6-month autorenewing contract, but also like to spell out for them the months which the contract will renew on. To make it super easy for me, and to not make me look/feel like an idiot counting on my fingers when a tenant sits down with me to sign, I would love to have either a dropdown with the month of the initial signing, that pre-populates the next signing months based on their term. For example, if they sign a 3-month renewal lease in January, then the next form will auto populate April, the following July,  the final in September. Or, if they choose a 3-month in March it would be >> June >> September >> December. Does that make sense?

This is a generic PDF where I clicked on the "Edit" menu option, and I run into this problem constantly. Acrobat thinks the line in this text is a separate text box rather than just a line. It creates the "12/26/2024" as a separate text box that I cannot access by clicking on no matter how close I zoom in, because the "underscore text box" is covering it and will intercept the mouse click. How do I move this "underscore text box" to the back so that I can access the "12/26/2024" text box?      

Hi, I'm at my wits end with Adobe Acrobat Pro 2023.I am trying to add digital signature fields to a form, like I've done a million times before on old versions, but it now appears as a text box even when the properties say it is a signature.I saw a solution to this was to revert to the old UI, which I have done, untick 'this document requires signatures' and find a 'more' button but I don't have that? Screenshot 1: My screen when opening the PDFScreenshot 2: Yellow highlight under the signature field tool used, and the resulting fieldsScreenshot 3: The preview of the field being text. I'm trying to publish an InDesign file to the publishing portal, but linked text icons in my headings are collapsing inline on top of each other. What's broke Adobe?

I have several PDFs that I edited for accessibility and security in Acrobat, and I'm trying to share them using Google Drive. The Adobe settings prevent editing, copying, and printing in high-def, so that anyone can read the PDF, but it's at least a little harder for people to plagiarize the content.  When I upload the PDFs to Drive, it's very unclear whether those settings have carried over or not. When I open the Google link preview to the PDF, I can easily copy and paste and print. I haven't found any options to fine-tune these settings in Google other than the general permission settings (which are pretty all-or-nothing with no option to permit some actions and not others). Anyone have any insight into this? Is there any way to protect my PDFs across platforms and PDF readers? Is there a better PDF editor for this? Should I just use a different file sharing platform? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated! 

Windows 10 Ent 64-bit, Acrobat XI Pro (11.0.18), Office 2013. User reported loss of "Save to PDF" functionality in Word. Checked COM addins and the "Adobe PDFMaker Office COM Addin" was unchecked. Checked it, closed Word, re-opened Word, found it unchecked again. Ran Word as a local administrator and the box remained checked (or unchecked) across numerous changes in state & restarts. Per numerous pages I've tried the following:Applied latest updates & ran repair installs on Office & AcrobatConfirmed that HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins\PDFMaker.OfficeAddin Loadbehavior is set to 3Checked file system permissions on PDFMaker directory. Found them lacking so added Domain Users with Read permission.Run RegSvr32 to re-register the relevant DLL'sRemoved & re-added the COM addin As noted, this is not an issue if the user is local admin. Any thoughts on how to get the enabled addin to persist after closing Word?Thanks

I have 5 computers all with 12th gen i9 CPUs and EVGA 3080 Ti GPUs with each holding 64-128 GB of G. Skill RAM. Out of all 5 computers Adobe Acrobat is Not Responding and crashes. I have updated each computer, followed ALL of your troubleshooting methods on your website and in these forums. Accumilated 10-12 hours of my own time following Adobe guidelines to "fix" their program. Yet, the program is unusable. I even spent my own money to have two SEPERATE IT companies remote in on all FIVE of my computers to try and find the problem. $617 later they can't even find the problem to make Adobe not crash. I am paying to use your software and paid a 3rd party to try and find out why its crashing. Still, I am left with a non functioning software. How is this even possible?

Hello, I'm trying to prep a simple contract to be signed by my client(s). I created a signature field (for myself) that marks all form fields as "read only" except for the signature fields for the client(s). However, when I go through the prompts for the signature requests, the fields that were "locked" show up as being able to edit by "anyone". I know I can use the "prefill" text tag to assign myself, but this created an extra step in the sending process where I have to click "Start" and then "Send". I'd like to avoid this, if possible. Once I sign (before requesting signature), the read only form fields shouldn't be editable by the signer(s), correct? However, they still are. Is there a way around this without using the prefill text tag?

Is there a way to secure a PDF form so that a user is prevented from copying it with all the form fields and the work that went into creating dynamic form field content (math and duplicate fields, etc.) built into the form with other people?  I'd like to make and sell pdf legal forms, but I'm worried after searching online about pdf security that a password is easily removed from pdf documents.  Any ideas about how I could prevent sharing of my pdf form except for the person who paid to use it?  Without being able to prevent sharing of the pdf form, it wouldn't be worth putting in the effort to make a detailed and dynamic pdf form since I couldn't charge for something that would eventually be available for free from other users of the form if they can just copy and share it.  I don't have thousands to spend on a server or other possible solution.  Any creative ideas?

I just purchased a 2023 imac 24" and a mackbook pro laptop running M3 chips. I have them set up as mirror images of each other. I'm having an issue on my desktop tha I am not having on my laptop. when I try to print a PDF from Acrobat the distiller launces and crashes both apps, it works fine on my laptop. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and same thing. I should say I am running from Creative Suite - sot it's all downloaded from the same place. Can anyone give a suggestion as to how to fix this. My 2nd issue is happenign on both computers. When I try to export PDFs using a preset I have used for over a year to prep files to upload to a print shop using plates will no long allow me to use the 1.3 compatability setting which the printer says they have to have to file accuracy. How do I gt around this I prep files for a magainze and are on weekly deadlines.  PLEASE HELP! attached is the setting I've been using for over a year and now doesn't work.

I'll start off with I'm using Designer.... I have 5 check boxes that must be checked on a form. When searching and selecting text on Android I get a clean output; however, in the desktop program I get this sort of output "O U T P U T." I opened the same file with the different programs; however, this would be useful for searching large 300+ page manuals.

I'm creating a fillable form for mileage calculations. For example, I have a table for mileage: sports center to middle school is .3 miles, sports center to senior high 2.1 miles, etc. I want people to enter location to location, and the mileage gets entered automatically. I'm fairly new to Adobe and very green with javascript. I would appreciate help. thank you 

over 40-odd pages in a document. I can create multiple copies, but only to a maximum of approx 25 on one page. I can duplicate the boxes over multiple pages, but then they are duplicates not individual fields so if I tick one box it'll tick them on all the other pages. I want to keep the root name the same for all the checkboxes as I want to write a script at the end to summarise them all - but I can't do this if I copy and paste the checkbox. Is there a better way of doing this, or do I just have to copy & paste my checkboxes and select fields at the end for the summary? Thank you

I've tried so many differe scripts and none are working.Per the picture, I need the following:if 2E (which will be hidden) = "Y", then get the value of 2D, etc.Then total all values that have a "Y" in 3A.

I pay for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, largely to be able to redact.  I am running it on a MacBook Pro which is running MacOS Mojave 10.14.16.  I can use the tool to redact, but when I apply the redactions, it makes the entire page blank except for the black boxes where the redaction has been applied.  Obviously, this is a problem, since I need to see the rest of the page.  I have tried doing it more than once, and tried different ways of effectuating the redaction and get the same result every time.  It looks like this: . 

Hello, I have some enrollment forms that contain a lot of fields for dates. The date fields are set up as 3 separate fields that can be tabbed through. I have no issues with the months and days but when inputting the year 2000 (2 zeroes), the field only populates with 1 zero. Is it possible to get 2 zeroes? 01/01/00. The client requested 2 digit years and the client called this issue out so I need some sort of solution. There are many instances across numerous forms. The file was built in InDesign but all functionality is done in acrobat. Thank you!!!

I just purchased the Adobe Acrobat Premium (monthly). One of the features is for me to have the ability to edit PDFs. But when I try to edit one file, it prompts me to buy Adobe Acrobat Pro. This is frustrating. Does anybody know here what to do? I attached here a video of the screen record

When I have a document open and I have edited it, when I click on the X to exit, it asks if I want to save. Whenever I click 'dont save' it highlights 'save' and saves the information when I didnt want it to be saved. Any idea why?
