Questions

My question is having to do with editing (anything) in Adobe Acrobat Pro.  I am working with PDF documents are signed, and are a completed PDF file, some pdf’s are older and some are newer.I AM Desperately looking for HELP, SOLUTIONS SOMETHING!! (Having over 3000 pdf's to correct, not going to make deadline) A completed PDF consist of first page was a form filled PDF, along with other word documents that have been converted to PDF, these are completed filled out and saved as pdf final.(History of document: This document has been combined and saved by another individual, and the final PDF is signed (electronically), which is the completed final pdf for record purposes.)When the new users has the documents, doesn’t matter where the document comes from or where it is located (ie) email attachments (document from emails, are saved to personal drive for editing), on network drives or personal files, same problems always occur.  The new user open pdf then selects edit… he

I bought a copy of Acrobat X Pro many years ago.  I would like to move that program to a new laptop and during installation it indicates that the old S/N is not valid.  Any suggestions/solutions?

I'm in the process of updating a form that uses extensive radio buttons, and for the life of me can't seem to get Acrobat to auto-detect them. Is there any way to do this? I'll also add that I'm open to any tools that make it possible to tag field types when creating a document. I'm using Google Docs at the moment for this, but am certainly not wedded to it if there's a better option.

Organize Pages stopped working in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  Version 2022.001.20085 The button on the right side of the screen opens the Organize Pages screen, but I no longer have the ability to drag and drop pages into a different order.  When I click on a page the rotate and delete options show, and the three dots leads to more options, but no drag and drop into another place. What am I missing?  It used to work...

Good day. I have text that I am trying to edit within a pdf file that is in use by my company; it's minor adjustments (3-4 letters per line). However, I do not have the original proof that was used to create the document.  If I choose "edit a pdf" and adobe does not populate a text box for the area I am wanting to edit, how do I work around this?

Kısaca sayı yerine simge çıkıyor.Bu sorunu bilgisayarımda diğer uygulamaları ( Office dahil) kullanırken yaşamıyorum. Bu konuda yardımcı olabilir misiniz ?  

I am using the redaction tool in DC which I have used many times. I hit redact. Text and Images, Highlight what I want redacted and hit apply. It is redacting what I highlighted but also highlight the first letter and last of most of the other sentences on the document I did not select.

While I was editing a document in prepare form the text boxes disappeared completely and have not returned despite installing updates. Tried reparing installation. Tried saving to a different location on my computer.  If I clock where text used to be it does not register that anything is there.  There is no empty box.

I created a form for our contract. It used to be once I did this, I could open the form, fill it in, then send to eSignature and the fields I pre-completed on the form would remain and I could just tag where the client needed to sign. Today, I did this exact same process except everything I entered just vanished when I went to Fill & Sign. I don't want to waste time going into each field and filling it in because it is way more challenging than doing it on the form itself. You have to go to each, then go to the left side and put in the prefilled text. If there is a box to be checked, you have to do the same and then go to the left side and select "checked" rather than just tabbing through the form to pre-complete it. What happened to the eSign option that this is no longer an option? I've spent 1/2 a day already trying to figure out how to make this work as efficiently as it used to. Anyone have any suggestions? 

Hello,  I am new to adobe, is there any videos from 2024 that showcase how to perform these actions? I'm trying to hover my mouse over an image and i want it to pop-up on the page bigger to read. Is there any good videos on how to understand how to use indesign? 

I am working on a legacy (ca. 2016) PDF and attempting to tag and make it accessible. This PDF has a number of form fields, some of which have multiple annotations. The attached image shows a text field that has three duplicate annotations (two of which are highlighted on the right side, in the Fields list). I am unable to delete these duplicate annotations. I have also tried to delete the text field directly, but this leaves a weird "Field" reference that I cannot delete either. Has anyone expereinced this behavior before? Any suggestions on how to clean this up? It really does seem like these form fields have become corrupted, and other than starting over from scratch, I am at a loss as to how I should proceed.

Just got upgraded to 24.004 and the interface is very user friendly but I no longer can find how to create digital (Entrust) signatures for other people to sign. I can create a signature box for myself, but not for multiple people. How can I create multiple digital signature boxes on a form? E-signature where people write/type their name is not sufficient. I need it to be a proper digital signature.

Hello,   I have a form that I've added a button to that needs to pull from form fields and save the file with those field names to create a unique file name. I've read the old post on this topic: Solved: Save PDF File Name as Field Name in PDF - Adobe Community - 7231510 However, it's not working for me.  Steps I've taken: 1. Created JS file in the user directory for the trusted function C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\Privileged\DC\JavaScripts (this is for work and I don't have administrator access to save in the JS folder).  2. Copied the JS file into the folder where the PDF lives 3. I am working to tag and improve a PDF document that was created in 2016. This doc has multiple form fields, and over the course of tagging and cleaning up the file, a few of the text fields seem to be corrupted - and I have no idea how to proceed. I tried to auto-tag this doc, but cleaning up the generated tags was more effort than just tagging manually from scratch. In the attached screen capture, a text field that was fine at one point now appears as a generic, non-editable "Field" that I cannot delete or change. Looking in the Annotations under the Content panel and in the Fields list while Using "Prepare a Form", there is no reference to this Field. It seems like it has been corrupted, but I don't know how to get rid of it. Any ideas?  

Hola, lo detallo lo mejor posible. Uso Adobe Acrobat DC, necesito firmar PDF y son muchas paginas. Lo hago uno por uno manualmente,  pero quisiera saber si hay alguna manera de firmar automaticamente (en este caso en hojas pares) para hacerlo mas rapido. Greetings all! I am experiencing an Adobe Acrobat Pro defect when using Save As... > PDF vs using Adobe settings in the ribbon of Microsoft Word. When creating a PDF with Save As... > PDF, it will not create the links in the blue boxes:See attachment Not Creating Link Within Graphic (Save As PDF).pdf However, when creating a PDF with the Adobe ribbon in Microsoft Word, it creates the links in the blue boxes:See attachment Not Creating Link Within Graphic (Ribbon).pdf  Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2024.005.20320 64-bit.

I have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat, 20.006.20042, running on Windows 10. Acrobat is freezing and then crashing every time I open up the 

I need to add multiple links within a pdf document in the form of text boxes stating "see page X" with a link that takes the reader to page X. The same link needs to be applied to several pages. Is there a way I can copy & paste the link multiple times? I am using AdobeAcrobat 2017

Good morning everyone, I installed Adobe Acrobat on my Tablet to be able to edit and sign forms on the go. I uploaded a form to Drive that I need to fill out, sign and have my clients sign. I start Acrobat and fill out the form, sign and the client signs. Ok. Then when I need to fill out another one I upload it from Drive but the newly uploaded document contains the previous information, so I have to delete all the filled out information and refill the new form with the new client's signature. The same thing happens if I upload the form to the device or to the Adobe cloud, they are saved immediately without leaving me the empty "Master" form that I can use as if it were new. Every time I have to upload a blank document. How do I do it?

I thought I would eventually get used to the new Adobe, but I still dislike it. Unfortunately, I use it every day for my work, and so I cannot get around not using it. In the old version, I could set my preferences for the option to add text comment with a border. I always had this set to "no fill color" and my text color was Red.   I can still change this option; it doesn't hold for all future PDFs.Even when I click on "lock" or "make properties default", as soon as I close Adobe and bring up a new PDF, the preferences goes back to a default, which is a filled text box and green font 

Acrobat opens a window, I'm not sure what it is, then immediately closes. I reinstalled. I uninstalled and used CC cleaner and reinstalled. I uninstalled deleted all the folders on C:\ and reinstalled. I have no idea what to try next.
