When the adobe extension is active in Chrome or Edge, I can’t download pdf files.  In Edge, there is a Valid Certificate error even though the padlock on the page says the certificate is valid.  On Chrome, it just says there is an error.  All apps are updated and reinstalled.  This has been going on for awhile.  When I turn off the extension, the file will download and become visible as an ashx file.I will add it’s a particular site.  I’ve spent quite some time changing settings to make it work but I can’t. Any ideas?Thanks

I've been trying to create a form for over an hour. First I got the "109" error like four times. Then I finally get the document to do what I need it to do but upon saving, the document is all white and now completely useless. What a joke! Does this company even beta test anything before realeasing it to the public and having people pay for this garbage?

My colleagues and I have come across a problem when we combine files that only seem to be a problem on their machines and not on mine. I am working on an Imac and they are on higher-spec PCs.The problem occurs when combining files together. The combine file function will work fine on all PDF files, but returns an error on most word documents saying "Error during Processing", and skipping them. It doesn't seem related to the file size as it has returned the error for files under 50kb as well as on the larger ones. We have tried downloading the files and saving them to a folder on the desktop to make sure it isn't related to the path length or being online (again, the PDF files saved into the same location don't have any issues). When the files are first added to the combine file section and the previews are generated, it has no issue or errors with them.Does anyone have any other ideas for why this is happening and how we can fix it?

I've used Adobe Acrobat Reader quite a bit in past, and have some experience coding, but am new to Adobe Acrobat Pro. I'm working on taking pages from an existing PDF that we have typically printed and filled in with pen and paper and converting them with Acrobat Pro into fillable forms. I have the fields all set up, but I have a series of fields that are for numbers that I need a custom validation script on. The reason is that sometimes these fields are not used, and then they have to have "N/A" put in them. Recent updates to Acrobat have made the software frustrating to use when filling out PDF forms (like the IRS W-9). Here's what I've experienced:The font on entered text looks distorted and unreadable. I tried adjusting the rendering settings in Preferences, but nothing fixes it. I ended up switching to Preview just to fill out the form. Adobe Acrobat, which I pay for, feels like it's actively working against me. Toolbar changes are difficult to follow, and certain features have disappeared entirely. The signing workflow used to feel seamless but now it's fragmented. I have to manually type the date in a separate step. There's also no option to use a cursive font for signatures or dates, which should be a basic feature. I want to drag a text box from on page to another. But when i try, the object hits an invisible wall and wont let me move it to the next page. How do I drag a text box/object from one page to another? I am using PC. Acrobat 2022. 

There is a slight delay when the PDF opens and the 'Suggestions for you' pop-up bottom bar appears. This results in negative behaviour: When you start filling in a form field, the appearing bottom bar steals focus and prevents you from completing it. Please prevent this focus stealing from happening.

I have a PDF that I'm attempting to make more accessible. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro (Continuous Release | Version 2004.003.20180). I ran the auto-tag function, which did a very good job. But there are some issues I'd like to fix. This document is very simple: just a single column of text divided into paragraphs. Hi, I’m preparing my documents for an NBI online appointment, and I noticed that my scanned ID looks a bit blurry and unclear when viewed in Adobe Acrobat. Since these documents are used for official verification, I want to make sure the quality is clear and acceptable.I tried scanning from my phone, but after opening the file in Acrobat, the text and photo are not sharp enough. I’m experiencing a cursor issue specifically when working with PDFs. When I try to hover over or select text, the cursor appears offset and jumps around. Every time I open Adobe Acrobat DC, that pop up message shows up. I don't want nor need Adobe Pro. This wasn't happening a couple of days ago but now it suddenly does. I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it multiple times and it still does the same thing. The pop up comes out every time, when I click the red X, it gets frozen for a few seconds and it quits. I can't even read nor print PDFs, much less do anything else. I have attached screenshots of my MacOs system and laptop information as well as what I see when I open Adobe Acrobat DC. Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated. I hope Adobe is not trying to force us to buy and subscribe and that Acrobat DC will become useless and obsolete. Smh   

I’m using AA Pro desktop on a PC  Newest (2026.001.21431 Acrobat Pro) on an xps 15 64gb, 2tb mem. I’m using the current: Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview (eval copy Build 26300.8276-ge_prerelease_im.260410-1655). I have recently uninstalled AA, cleaned my computer (AA tool), reinstalled, rebooted, and tried a number of things to resolve these before asking for help. AI is disabled, I’ve tried disabling and enabling the new AA. And other misc related settings with no luck. Some specific quirks include:How do we get rid of the AA splash screen that persists :15-20 seconds after the document has been opened? I tried registry change, disabling AI elements, disabling AA messaging… all with no effect. When opening AA, the window opens in whatever size it wants, then when the document actually opens, it opens either full-screen, mid-size (vertical rectangle), or small (small rectangle). The highlighter tool switches to a text selection I-beam when it thinks there is OCR'd text. I've tried to get rid of the OCR text ghost via "Protect PDF" and hiding/removing data and that is totally ineffective. Also, saving as with both optimized and reduced size does not make a difference.

I have a pdf I exported from InDesign. Looks great when I look at it in Acrobat. All fonts are embedded. But when the client sent me a screenshot of what they see in Acrobat, it’s subtly different. The lowercase “a”’definitely looks different. Any ideas what could be causing the issue?My screenshot is the top one, client screenshot is the bottom one. Here is a screenshot of the fonts embedded.  

I am experiencing an issue when exporting PDFs from InDesign using the PDF/X-4 standard.When running a Preflight check in Acrobat, the font Jost (downloaded from Google Fonts) is flagged as invalid. This issue occurs not only in my files, but also when I edit InDesign documents created by other designers who have used the same font. Why has this version of Acrobat 26.1 been causing my computer to freeze so frequently recently? 

Every time the Adobe printer driver updates (which seems to be every couple of weeks), it turns the "View Adobe PDF results" back on by default in the printer driver.  Is there any way to stop it from doing this?

Is there any way to install Catalan language for Acrobat in my laptop. I'm using Catalan for the Windows 11 OS and for Microsoft365, and I'd like to use Acrobat in Catalan also. Thanks! 

The attach documents were created in Canva and pass their accessibility checker. The Mark Twain document has the alt text being read twice and the Denny document only has the logo alt text being read. Where to I begin to fix this?Videos:Mark TwainDenny

I've been asked to create an instructional training about using the HP Active Pen G3 to perform a variety of tasks for our investigators, I am able to use the pen to highlight and select things or activate in a form an area to enter information to in Adobe, but I am not able to use it to sign or annotate the documents.  I can't write in the various fillable options in a form using the stylus.  No pop-up keyboard appears ever to be able to use to enter in information.  I don’t see an option to use it to enter text anywhere. I don't know if I am missing something obvious, but is there a stylus mode within Adobe Acrobat?  I thought the stylus pen would have more functionality to it within Adobe.  It appears to be unable to be used to fill in portions that I am allowed to type in.  Can anyone tell me how to use the stylus to be able to fill in areas of a fillable form designated for text?  Thanks in advance.

I have a form where the number is not really a list, but they are numbered by sections. I’ve manually tagged them as lists, however, I keep getting warnings on PAC and I honestly am not sure how to tag it properly!<section> <L> <LI> <Lbl> 3. Is there something I can do to fix this?  

Acrobat is unable to save embedded pictures from an email in PDF. Other PDF Add-Ins are able to save with the pictures.
