Every time I download a PDF from Microsoft Edge version 141.0.3537.99, the PDF automatically opens in Adobe Acrobat after downloading.I would like the PDF NOT to open automatically in Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Edge when it is complet downloaded.I want the PDF only to be saved under 'Downloaded Files' so that I can manually open it when needed. How do I fix it?

I have a licenced, full cost version of Acrobat Standard XI which I want to install on a replacement laptop.  I have deactivated the old version on the old laptop and installed on the new one. It's saying it won't activate because there are too many licences already active. But this is not the case.I have gone around and around with Adobe support online who eventually suggested posting on this forum.Anyone have any bright ideas?

I have the full adobe suite through work and i cannot send a document for signing to my manager. It say's its not working right now but there are no outages reported. 

Need help for FigJam Compression for larger file types for client presentations. Files can be too large and need to compress down to keep clarity and to not have a file over 25mb for email size.

The pop-up message "Turn almost every file into PDF" keeps coming on every Adobe Acrobat lounch and file opening. There is no "don't show this" button available so I wait every time when opening document for that message to appear so I can close it. Please help how can I remove the message. Weird thing has been happening to me for a while. I often have several PDFs open at the same time because I have to ref several different files at once. Mostly equipment specifications where one files references me to another file, etc... If I have a few files open overnight invaribly the next more morning none of my editing tools will function properly. The hightlighter doesnt work. The "add text callout" doesnt work properly. When I select that tool and then click on the page to drag my text box with an arrow point to my callout all I get is a text box. So I have to close every PDF and then close the program. Then reopen the program and PDF and my tools will work. I have repaired my installation and I always check and update the software as required. Has anyone else run into?

Hi all, I have an acrobat X which I want to install on the new PC. It shows an device limit error. I have got only installed on one laptop for which the hard drive died. So I can't deactivate the licence there.

I was offered to extend my free trial for a month and cancelled before the trial ends.Adobe says that I have pay still. 

Using Acrobat version 2025.001.20756 on Windows 11 23H2 When I open multiple files and close one, all of the items are still stuck on my taskbar showing as open. Ie, I can't remove any of the items from my task bar unless I close every file and the whole application and start over. If I have my taskbar mirrored across multiple displays, this problem goes away.  But in an ideal world, I want to keep my taksbars separate for each screen. Any ideas?  My office tech support has tried to re-install multiple times.

Adobe keeps opening, after using the quick print option. I'm not sure if there is a setting change or even a bug, after an update that was completed last Friday. Last week Adobe was working fine. Any help would be greatly apprectiated

Hi - hoping someone can assist. I've created a fillable form which is an employee reward nomination form. It needs to be filled and signed by multiple people across the business before it is completed. For example -1. Employee's direct manager initiates form, filling out and signing 1st section.2. They then send to department manager to approve, fill and sign.3. From there it is sent to HR team to finalise, fill remaining details, sign and save. The form I've created works but once the first person fills and signs, it then saves as a basic PDF and isn't able to be filled and signed by the next person. For further context: the aim is to store the nomination form on a shared drive for employees to use regularly. So they pick it up and start editing whenever suits for them. Is this possible? Help!

Hi all, I am looking for a javascript that will update any text fields on a form that have been formatted to 'number' and change the decimal places from 2 to 0. 

Here's the scenario:A company has 7 representatives (rep) and they need to track how may times that rep was chosen throughout the year. On the form there there is one dropdown that will be repeated 6 times for each month (72 dropdowns per form). Although the dropdowns will have different field names, all will have the same 7 representatives listed. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2021.007.20091.  I used to be able to add a Clear Form button previously when creating forms until now.  Is that no longer an available feature? 

I need to create a PDF that can be edited on my phone. Until March, I was able to do this without any problems using Create Modules, but when the customer received the PDF, they would see blue boxes where they had to write. Now, when I do the same thing on my phone, I no longer see the blue boxes where the customer has to write. Help. How can I fix this?

On 06-11-25 I could open PDFs, but after I had opened a few they would no longer open. I would have to restart my computer or do a ctrl/alt/delete, then select task manager, and end the adobe application. That would work temporarily, but then it would stop opening PDFs again. I never had this issue prior to 06-11-25. When something that has worked and then it doesn't I as asked myself, what changed. I checked the properties for my adobe application and it showed there was a modification on 06-10-25. I see there was a planned update on 06-10-25. Is there something in this update that is causing this new issue?

Diese o.g. Fehlermeldung erscheint bei Acrobat Pro DC seit dem Upgrade auf macOS 15.4.1. Alle anderen Anwendungen werden gedruckt. PDF als Bild drucken funktioniert auch - kann aber nicht die Lösung sein, da es vorher alles ohne Probleme funktioniert hat. Kennt jemand eine Lösung? Danke.

Hello. I'm trying to find a simple way to select a part of a PDF and print it. I don't want to use an external app, or Windows print screen, there must be a very simple 2-3 click way to do this. When I select a section of the screen, it gives me the option to save as a snapshot. When I try to print the snapshot, under printer, more options, it doesn't give me the option "Selected Graphic" as shown in many online turorials. I'm also not looking to print current view, only what I have selected.  Driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated. 

 I am unable to view previews of adobe PDF documents in the preview pane in Windows Explorer on my computer (i.e. local drive or network drive) unless it is via my OneDrive folder. When trying to view files on WE that are on local or network drives, the preview plane is blank and contains no error message or warning. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling adobe and my IT department have tried various fixes such as deleting temporary files, editing the registry, and editing local adobe acrobat settings. None of these fixes have worked.

Hallo zusammen,ich habe in Word ein Dokument erstellt und dieses in ein PDF umgewandelt. In Adobe Acrobat (aktuellste Version aus der CC) habe ich daraus manuell ein Formular erstellt mit Textfeldern zum ausfüllen und Kästchen zum abhaken. Bei 5 von 7 Testpersonen wird das PDF korrekt dargestellt (hellblaue Balken, alles ausfüllbar). Bei zwei Personen werden die hellblauen Balken nicht angezeigt und das PDF ist nur in Teilen bis garnicht ausfüllbar. Erstaunlicherweise sind die beiden Personen bei denen es nicht funktioniert in meinem Unternehmen und benutzten die gleiche aktuelle Software und Betriebssystem. Bei anderen Externen funktioniert es, unabhängig von MAC oder Nutzung eines kostenlosen PDF Readers.Kann dieses fehlerhafte Anzeigen auch an Antivirensoftware oder Firewall hängen? Eigentlich sollte ein PDF doch plattformübergreifend konstant dargestellt werden. Über hilfreiche Tipps wäre ich dankbar.

Bei dem Versuch mach längerer Zeit musst ich feststellen,  dass ich mein Passwort vergessen habe. Der Versuch ein Neues anzulegen misslang, weil es sich nicht speichern lies. Hi everyone,I want to do the following in Adobe Acrobat:I have a PDF that should always be the first page (i.e., the cover).I also have several other PDFs. My first PDF should be attached to the front of each of these PDFs, i.e., as the title or cover page.Important:The PDFs should not all be merged into one large file.Each file should remain separate, just with my cover PDF as the first page.I want to do this automatically in batches (i.e., for many files at once).Does anyone have any tips on how to do this in Adobe Acrobat?

I am trying to update acrobat by checking for updates in acrobat.  The process keeps hanging when it reaches file msvcp140_atomic_wall.dll.  I also tried the offline installer and get stuck in the same place.  How do I get around this?
