Hi All, Since I have updated to Adobe Acrobrat 25.001.20844 64 bit, my settings in the Adobe PDF printer keep reverting back to the default settings.

I have adobe pro license - just paid. I still couldnt find the redact function. What license and version I should have to use REDACT? how to confirm if I have the correct license or version to use the REDACT function？Thanks much.

When I open a PDF File, the name of the file is usually the name that shows in the window up on the LHS of the screen. But yesterday I opened a file and the name that showed was a different one. Does anyone know why and how I can change it or why this happened?

I have 3 displays. I need to view Adobe Acrobat on Display 3. When I open new pdfs, (Acrobat is already open on Display 3), Acrobat switches to Display 1 then opens the file. I realize it does this because Display 1 is my Home display, but I want my Home display to be Display 1, not 3. (Changing my Home display to Display 3 shouldn't be the only option.) When I open pdfs from my browser, they open on whichever display Acrobat is already open (on Display 3) as they should. This issue only occurs when I open a file from Windows file explorer. I've tried the "resizing tip" and other tips from the web - even my enterprise IT team couldn't figure it out. This is so frustrating. There has to be a setting that will fix this.

Hi All, Recently a user for a client I support, came to me about the logtransport2.exe error on her Windows 11 machine.  It pops up a lot and causes freezes on her machine.  I'm looking into that more tomorrow.   I read in various articles that this process is part of the data and usage collection Adobe sends to its servers.  I read that the process is controlled by the HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\(product name)\(version)\FeatureLockDown "usagemeasurement" key. I checked my adobe (free version) and I'm opted into sending data.  However, I don't see the usagemeasurement key?  If data collection is on in my account, shouldn't I see the "usagemeasurement" key? Thoughts appreciated.

Hi,I’m trying to install and activate Adobe Acrobat X on my current Windows computer, but I get the following messages during setup:“Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed.”and later:“Your license allows activation on 2 computers only.”I believe this is because I previously had Acrobat X installed on my old laptop, which I no longer use.I have already uninstalled the program there, but I can’t deactivate it since the computer is no longer available.I contacted Adobe Support by phone, but they told me that support for Acrobat X has ended and that they are no longer able to reset activations for this product.Could someone here please help me reset the activations for my Acrobat X license, or advise if there is any other way to activate it on my new computer?Product: Adobe Acrobat X (Student and teacher edition)Serial number: Available upon requestThank you very much for your help and understanding!Best regards,Dennis

Mac OS Sequioa 15.7.2 I have two customer created actions that we used to use in the Action Wizard. Working on another project for them and needed to use the actions. Found I needed to use the Guided Actions Tool. So went to the tool and in the left panel where the default and these two imported actions should be I have nothing. I've logged out of Adobe and back in, not change. I even tried to uninstall Acrobat and reinstall but the uninstall fails. Any suggestions?

Hi, when connecting to the company VPN, the "use a certificate" tab doesn't load. When connecting via LAN or offline (without the internet), the tab loads correctly. I have the latest 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Adobe; the error also occurs in earlier versions. Please help.

Hi everyone, Can anyone help me? Some days ago adobe can not edit pic using MS paint as before. when I work with adobe as usual, the app has started to send such messages: When I click OK, i still can work, but when I have to edit image using MS Paint: It shows this Error: At the same time, he opens that file in MS Paint, but if I edit something there, it asks if I want to save changes, and if I click yes, it does not make these changes in my opened PDF document as usual, but saves it in some folder on my PC.    I have tried to uninstall and install back Adobe pro, then I made the same with MS paint. I have downloaded Classic Paint (following the instructions in google), restarted PC million times, and all is the same.   Can you help me please?   [Edited: Title fixed]  

Hi all. I noticed that when I'm at 100% zoom or smaller, my check boxes and radio buttons are inconsistent. They all have the same settings, and I've also tried copy and pasting. When I'm zoomed in at >100%, this issue goes away. They also appear inconsistent when I print out the form.  I would appreciate any help. 

I am editing a PDF in Adobe Acrobat and I keep getting the strikethrough. I used to be able to just delete the word and backspace. How do I disable this? Thank you!

Hi all. I create a pro bono monthly newsletter (InDesign,) and have for many years. Most are emailed via pdf attachment but I normally print about 4 newsletters for some folks that do not use email. I updated to a Mac Mini this past month so all of my CC apps have updated. Today when I try to print my 4 newsletter copies, as I have done for years with "flip on short edge," side 2 is upside down. My quick fix to get the job done was to rotate all side 2 pages in Acrobat 180º but would like to get to the heart of the problem if possible. I HATE wasting paper, ESPECIALLY Tabloid! I received this pop-up when running a PDF through PAC. I don't know what it means, so I don't know how to fix it. I'm not clear on what an MCID is or how it functions, so I need help understanding the pop-up and also resolving whatever is causing the pop-up. Note that the PDF otherwise passes PAC and Acrobat's Checker.

Hi,I have the latest 64-bit version of Adobe Acrobat Reader 2025 and I can't overwrite a PDF file when the file originates from a different endpoint.I know how to disable Protected Mode, but for security reasons, Protected Mode must be enabled on my domain.The problem doesn't affect all files.Can you tell me what the difference is when a file is locked and when it isn't? The two files originate from different computers.

In Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 2025.001.20693 64-bit)In the search function, I am unable to paste text.  Typing text manually in the search field does work The paste function (Ctrl + V) and right-click → Paste works in other programs.Any idea's?

Hallo zusammen, wir haben 10 Lizenzen vom Acrobat 2020 gekauft und in der online Lizenzverwaltung von Adobe sauber eingepflegt. Hin und wieder kommt es vor, dass sich an den Arbeitsplätzen die Namen der Benutzer untereinander vermischen. Da stellt ein Benutzer in seinem Adobe Acrobat 2020 in Bearbeiten / Einstellungen / Identität seinen Namen korrekt ein, und kurze Zeit später steht dieser Name auch bei anderen Benutzern auf verschiedenen PCs im Acrobat 2020 drin. Ein Rückstellen des Namens führt dann wieder dazu, dass er auch bei anderen Leuten zurückgestellt wird.Wie kann denn so etwas ein? Was kann ich oder Adobe gegen diese Vermischung tun? 

Ich kann meine Kommentar in einem Acrobat pdf in der rechten Randleiste nicht mehr vollständig sehen. Ich sehe immer nur die letzte Zeile. Wenn ich die Randleiste nach links ziehe sehe ich mehr Zeichen aber imme noch nur eine Zeile..

Hi, I am testing Docusign & Adobe PDF accessibility issues.  I downloaded a signed Docusign form which Docusign converts to PDF and locks it down to prevent editing.  When I open the document in Adobe and run the accessiblity check I have one error.  "Tagged Annotation Failed".  When I expand the list there is one Element 1.   Normally, if I clicked on Element 1 the offending element in the document is highlighted.  But this is not happening.  I have no idea what element isn't tagged.  The original Word document that was uploaded to Docusign passed all accessibility checks.  All accessiblity requirements on the Docusign form itself were met.   I will be reaching out to Docusign as well but I'm afraid they are going to ask me exactly what element didn't tag.   How do I find this out?  I've attached two examples of the same issue.   Rachael LeybaOlmsted County, MN

Ik probeer in Acrobat Pro een pagina te wijzigen met Paint of Photoshop. Zodra ik dat kies krijg ik een melding dat de beide programma's niet goed zijn opgegeven in de instellingen van Acrobat. Maar vervolgens openen zowel Paint als Photoshop wel. Echter als ik dan de wijziging in mijn document wil opnemen, krijg ik de melding dat mijn verwijzingen niet kloppen. Dit is eerste keer dat ik hier last van heb. Kan dit door een update van Windows11 komen? Weet u een oplossing? Hoop dat u kunt helpen (PS ben geen ervaren windows expert)

After acrobat updated to 2025 last week I am unable to edit a pdf. I am trying to add a link, when I click on menu at left, it resets itself, shows a white box and spins. Then locks up - I am unable to do anything with the file and have to reopen, and it continues to do the same thing - any idea?   [Moved from the CC Desktop forum by moderator]

How to you stop Adobe Pro from auto-rotating or aligning a page and/or image. I have a logo that can't be altered but need to add it to another file and anytime I add the image it automaticly gets rotated not matter what I do. I need to add the image and be able to continue adjusting the rest of the file and not have the logo rotating willy nilly.
