We are running into a strange issue with Acrobat Standard when viewing PDF documents sent to us by a client.

Some of the text appears to be scrambled and unreadable, yet the document looks fine when opened in any Internet browser and even free version of Adobe Reader.

But a other user can see the document correct.
It's on a Server 2019 and Server 2016 where this issue appears.
They are working with RDS call.
Other users don's have problems with a document only one user?

 

So far we have tried:

 

- Repairing Acrobat

- Updating Acrobat

- Fully reinstall Acrobat

- Disabling Document Protection

- Deleting the Adobe appdata o for that user 

But all makes no difference

It's probably because the fonts were not embedded into the PDF at the time is was exported from the source document (such as from MS Word).

 

If possible, open the original source file in Word (if that was the source application from which the PDF was exported) and embed the font following these instructions:

 

If that's not possible, try embedding the fonts within Acrobat. Open the PDF on a computer where the fonts appear normal and follow these instructions:
