Picture one is the 6.5" valve stem that goes into the house, with the piece to the left being the holder for the rubber gasket that stops the water (deep inside the wall so the faucet won't freeze in the winter) when the handle on the outside is turned... the gasket assembly is 'free floating' inside the hollow valve stem, with the shape of the rubber flange designed so water will go past the sloping rubber when the valve is turned to open... the rubber flange is there to keep the valve stem centered inside the hollow faucet assembly   Picture two shows the 'larger' O ring that goes inside the valve end cap to keep water from flowing out when the valve is open... barely visible inside the gasket assembly is a 'small' O ring that is supposed to stop water from flowing through the hollow valve stem when the valve is open and the water pressure pushes the gasket assembly into the hollow valve stem   When our outdoor faucet leaked when the valve was open I first replaced the O ri

Does anybody here know whether Adobe's ACI certification programs for Creative Cloud design/video are still alive? Have they been killed off?I get no response from Training Partners. I tried contacting various help email addresses for Adobe Education and Certifications but nobody in those departments knows what is going on either.I appreciate that Adobe is a big company with lots to do, and I am also aware that Adobe has stopped accepting new applications to the ACI programs. But as a decades-long-standing Adobe Certified Instructor whose current AD0-C101 and AD0-102 certifications reach the end of their two-year validity in a few weeks from now, it would be nice to know what is happening.Will I still be an ACI at the end of April? Will anybody? To be ignored entirely is rather impolite.If the ACI program is dead, it's a shame but that's Adobe's call. If the ACI program is to be kept alive, then great but how do we know? At the moment, my ACI status is like Shrödinger's cat.

Hello my name is Oluchi Ann, I am a Nigerian and I attended the just concluded Adobe max2021.  I must say it was really inspiring. I am new to creativity and I really don't know where and how to start this journey. I would really love it, if I could get a mentor to guide me through. I got really interested in the educative aspect during this conference, getting to know how to bring creativity to classrooms to enhance learning for students. I would like to go into that line but I don't know how to begin. I noticed schools in Africa haven't incorporated this creativity in classrooms yet and I would really love to speak to someone about this and if it's possible for Adobe to train some interested people to how to bring creativity to schools here in Africa.       Thank you.

I'm interested in starting to work on more brand style guides and I was wondering: When I give the client a style guide that shows how their flyers, billboards etc should look, should I give them the actual files for those designs aswell or should I just give a guideline of how it should look? Also, if I give them the actual files of the designs, how do I charge for that on top of the style guide.Any advise will be greatly appreciated. TIA

A San Mateo, California company building a flying electric car is now taking pre-orders.    Alef Aeronautics’ flying car has been given a Special Airworthiness Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), meaning the company will be allowed to road/air test the car.   The fully-electric vehicle (with a hydrogen option for a higher price) is a low-speed vehicle that can be driven up to 200 miles on public roads and fits into a regular garage, but it can also launch vertically into the air with a flying range of 110 miles.   The "Model A" can fly forward above obstacles until a desired destination is reached.  Estimated price per car is $300K. In the code which will exist in runtime on the site, how do I get the version of the extension so we can send it with requests we will do from the client side browser?   Is there perhaps a way to get it from the Adobe Extension UI first? I took the plunge and bought a Duxtop portable induction cooktop from Amazon.  It arrived today.    I've got a magnet strapped to my wrist to test my old cookware.  My old stainless steel pots aren't having it.  But good news, my vintage cast iron boiled water in 1 minute.  Yeehaw!    It may take me a while to learn how to cook with induction. But so far so good.    

I am trying to create a custom datatype within a Content Fragment Model for colorpicker I followed the steps given in the following document -    https://blogs.perficient.com/2020/10/20/adding-a-color-picker-to-the-aem-content-fragment-model-editor/   I do see the color picker in the CFM but loads empty set of properties for the colorpicker -  Error logs show -  com.adobe.cq.dam.cfm.ui.impl.extras.DataTypeConfigImpl Provided meta type colorfield is not recognized as a valid type in the configuration resource /mnt/overlay/settings/dam/cfm/models/formbuilderconfig/datatypes   Are there any additional steps needed while adding custom datatypes and do we have a good set of documentation listing down the steps?

I want to build a facebook game similar to Monster Legends.It will have turn based pvp, leader boards, guilds, leveling, rankings, quests, various currencies, teams, jobs/professions, vendors, story modes, customizable characters, customizable skill sets, skill trees, various drop rates eg. low and high chances of certain items dropping from kills.  What programs are required to create a game like this?Can it be done using only Adobe products?
