Some messages have a translate option open with the message Other messages doen't and the translate option at the bottom of the message is gone
This is a massive step backwards and actually a big mistake on Adobe's part. The forums are now useless without the rich history of solutions from the past. I would say all old questions and replies are still relevant today. Just because someone hasn't searched for them in a while doesn't mean they need archiving. I would petition that Adobe restore all of the historical data as soon as possible. [Moved from “InDesign” to “Community Feedback” by moderator.]
To much White Space all over these forums and by not displaying the first 2 line of the post under the title that would help with the to much white space.
Feature request. Set the sort order on the main forum page to by Sticky for each user or make it in Alphabetical order. What is popular when you need to post to Forum A, B, C and so on. Now you have to Scroll down through the list that is NOT in any recognisable order. At least if it was in alphabetical order you would know where you have to go to get to the forum you need to post a question to. I Think (and I'm a pretty good Thinker) that is why we are seeing some many post in the Get Started forum that have Nothing to do with Getting Started.
So in the Community Help forum someone asked about theAdobe Experience Manager, AEM, and was directed to the oolder forums. Which for AEM is still active. But we are stuck on the POS MESS of a forum. How can that be. The buttons for replying and posting disappear on mundane browser operations such as resizing the window, switching to another tab or downloading content (e.g. an image a user posted) from another tab while the reply input field is open. Seems like some script is running amok, in particular when there are two or more instances of forum pages open at any given time, but I'm too lazy to dig into the debug console. So before this site went live to the gneral public there was a preview of it that had a forum for testing and giving Feedback on this new layout and design. There were a LOT of post in that forum that pointed out the multiple flaws, miss steps, outright horrible design and the TOTAL Lack of Thought that went into this MESS you people at Adobe call a User to User Help forum. So exactly what happened to the Feedback & testing forum? I know no body listened to anything any of the participating ACP/MVP had to say because at the first day of Go Live of this forum NOTHING had changed. 1. Once I open a thread in the list of threads, how do I return to the list where I left off? Now, when I return to the list, I'm brought to the top of the page which requires me to scroll down to where I was. (Previous forum layout returned me to where I was when I clicked an individual thread.) 2. Is there any way to determine which threads I've read in a given session just by looking at the list? (Previous forum layout recolored thread names to make this very easy.) If there's somewhere on the site that explains these things to me, I'd appreciate a link or instructions. Yet another complaint/annoyance: There are no replies.........
Bob and two others? Who are they and were did they post? Have to search for the reply and open each and every nested reply.
Forum OPs are getting an email notification to mark a reply to their thread as correct if it resolves the issue, but they currently don't have the ability to do so.
So what are the changes coming to the forum on October 14th? I'm also posting this in the ACP forum so it can be responded to following the NDA.
Could we have the time of day, in addition to the date, that a post was made?

Bonjour j'ai souscrit l'abonnement Adobe en début d'année. Mais voici que depuis une semaine il m'est impossible d'ouvrir le logiciel lightroom. Le message d'erreur est le suivant:"Impossible d'ouvrir le catalogue lightroom nommé lightroom catalog car il est ouvert dans une autre application" Rien est ouvert j'ai plusieurs fois éteint et rallumé l'ordinateur et fait control alt sup pour fermer toutes activités.Quelqu'un a-t-il une explication et une solution ?? I have working on AEM 6.4. User sychrnization is working fine between two publihsers with Sling Content Distribution , but UGC or any content not get sync to other publisher.
I'm simply dumbfounded by the change. 95% of the time I have a problem with Adobe software, I google it and find the answer in an old discussion thread. (The other 5% is Youtube videos). You've just DESTROYED YEARS OF SUPPORT by killing links to these old threads. This is just a phenomenally stupid decision and I can't even imagine how much productivity is lost because of it. Go back and update the forum in a way that isn't so destructive.
Adobe gets 1 more chance. I upgraded my laptop because it would not support the program. I can't use parts of the program such as the opacity and crop tools. All of them. tonight they had me on the phone for 2 hours trying to help. My system is at 13.0. Tried updating to the .5 version. It loads but does not change. I'm still at 13.0. They guy online says once I update I should be able to use all that fun stuff. I will be on the phone again tomorrow and if they don't fix the problem I see camtasia in my future. just venting.
For example a forum page I wanted to look at which I found through a search on google returned this url,https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2217477but when clicking on the link I am redirected tohttps://community.adobe.com/ I've tried adding /thread/2217477 to the end but it doesn't work. No one can find anything from search engines linking to your forums.
Hallo Communityich verwalte meine Fotos bereits seit vielen Jahren mit dem Organizer, jetzt in der aktuelle Version Elements Organizer 2019. Nachdem taggen von gerade aktuell 2.000 Bildern, möchte ich eine Auswahl nach iphoto und Flickr exportieren. Die vergebenen Bildtitel werden aber nicht übernommen. Über den müheseligen Umweg dem Editor Adobe Photoshop Elements kann ich zwar den Bildtitel händisch nachtragen, aber dann ergibt sich ein neues Problem, dass die verwendeten deutschen Umlaute in den Tags mit Hyroglyphen weitergegeben werden, also offenbar ein Problem in der integrierten Metadatenanwendung. Gibt es irgendein Plugin oder ein Scipt für den Apple Automator, der die jeweiligen Bildtitel im Organizier in einer Stapelverarbeitung in die Metadaten einträgt? Wenn ja, wie kann ich das Sprachproblem umgehen, oder muss ich mich damit abfinden, keine Umlaute zu verwenden? Ich bin auf das Tool Reveal gestoßen, hiermit funktioniert das Eintragen des Bildtitels und im späteren Export,
Since Adobe changed their forums into Adobe Support Community I have two problems with the forums themselves. The first is that they keep logging me out, I have to sign in every time I visit the forums. The second is maybe related, but super annoying. I usually use Google for any problem I have and 50% of the times end up on the Adobe forums. Google does show the entries that are on the Adobe forums but when I click them, I end up on the hompage of Support Community in stead of the thread itself? So I have to use the search engine of the forums again to find the thread... Which usually fails as well. I read somewhere that some old threads were not migrated from the old Forums to the new Support Community, is that true? Because it is super annoying that those solutions show up on Google but are not accesible on the Support Community forums. Anyone who knows a workaround, a solution? Is it something I am doing or my settings?
Hi,As I am trying to migrate my backend code base from AEM 6.1 to AEM 6.4, I came across the following issue.The dependency for org.joda.time,version=[1.6,2) and org.joda.time.format,version=[1.6,2) cannot be resolved.According to one of the helpx.adobe.com some of the methods for this dependency are depricated in 6.4. Can anyone suggestion the alternative for this dependency. I have added the below maven dependency in my project pom.xml: <dependency><artifactId>joda-time</artifactId><version>2.9.1</version><groupId>joda-time</groupId><scope>provided</scope></dependency>
Hi Once I start login to Adobe Support Community displays previous password as autologin. Actually my latest password is different. I want to change my password from previous to latest. What to do ?
regarding the new forum format — 2 things _really_ need to be fixed: 1) all the replies are hidden — you may see (part of) one reply, but that's all that displays. There could be scores of replies over the course of months (or years) but one would never know unless one clicked the "view more replies" text almost unnoticable at the bottom. The first reply — or the last — really doesn't encapsulate the whole of the discussion. And though I firmly believe reading the comments on online forums is one of the circles of hell, very, very often I find some piece of useful information in someone's comment — sometimes just a link to another discussion. Can you at least make viewing expanded comments a user-defined option? 2) It appears every reply, to the main post or replies to comments, contains the "view more replies" link — even when there aren't any. Seriously? Why is that link even there? You've gone and removed all of the comments from view, hiding them behind "v
I just purchased a new PC and I’m trying to install my CS5 on it. I already chatted with support and they pointed me here which is very strange due to my issue. I originally purchased a CS2 bundle pack which included Photoshop 6.0 with a CS2 upgrade several years ago. When CS5 was released, I purchased the upgrade version of that. I went in order of installing all of the same programs, but when I get to CS5 it asks for a serial key for one of 3 versions I do not own and never have. I had this same problem last year when I installed on a laptop and support was very easy to deal with and helped me with my problem in short amount of time. Can anyone please tell me what my options are? I was using this program almost every day, and for what I use it for, CC is way out of my price range and not worth it for what I need.
