I have to ask about certain functionality that seems missing or incorrect. At the top of the message board is a SORT dropdown, it is always set to "Relevant". I set it to "Latest", but the next time I visit that page (or even refresh the page), it goes back to "Relevant". Please make "Latest" sticky. There seems to be no way to quote the portion of the original message that you are referring to, other than manual copy and paste. There is no block-quote feature. When I want to reply to the original post, I can click on the blue Reply button (with white text), and I get a window that has icons for italic and bold and underline and so on. If I want to reply to one of the replies, and I click on the black text that says reply, there seems to be no way to use bold, italic, underline and so on.I cannot find any way to send private e-mails, even though you say above "feel free to contact me directly". I am using Chrome 76.0.3809.132 on Windows 10 Enterprise.
Just want to do a search but the "Search field" is confusing:Why are there two fields? Why is there no "clear" button on at least one of them? Why don't ALL threads appear when there is nothing in the Search field?I have to navigate back to the forum to view all threads. That seems illogical.
I had the weirdest thing happen. I was logged in and posted a reply to a post. Immediately I got three popups telling me I had replied to to a post I was following (!!!!). And then I noticed I had also been logged out of the forums. Except my post posted correctly (!!). So something is very messed up with whatever login system is being used.
I am confused about my community account here. I seem to have been reset since the forums were updated. I can still reach my previous account from emails about forum topics, but I am required to post as though I have only just joined now. My previous account goes back to 2013, and I'd like to maintain the ability to look up those posts and conversations. Is that possible?
Logged-in users must not be counted as views when viewing or editing their own posts. This totally skews and falsifies the metrics. Surely this shiny new forum is advanced enough to distinguish between someone else peeking and poking at a topic than the original creator... Mylenium
See this.
Much feedback was posted in the Back Room by Top contributors on this site. I never thought the Jive Powered site was great for it has some issues. Lithium make Jive look great. I can not understand why Adobe chose to use Lithium as a replacement for Jive other then Lithium purchased Jive and announced it was stopping new Jive development. All the feedback I have seen has been negative and IMO its justified. Adobe should not try to fix up Lithium they should evaluate the best of the current forum packages and pick a replacement for Lithium. forum software 2019
Some messages have a translate option open with the message Other messages doen't and the translate option at the bottom of the message is gone
This is a massive step backwards and actually a big mistake on Adobe's part. The forums are now useless without the rich history of solutions from the past. I would say all old questions and replies are still relevant today. Just because someone hasn't searched for them in a while doesn't mean they need archiving. I would petition that Adobe restore all of the historical data as soon as possible. [Moved from “InDesign” to “Community Feedback” by moderator.]
To much White Space all over these forums and by not displaying the first 2 line of the post under the title that would help with the to much white space.
Feature request. Set the sort order on the main forum page to by Sticky for each user or make it in Alphabetical order. What is popular when you need to post to Forum A, B, C and so on. Now you have to Scroll down through the list that is NOT in any recognisable order. At least if it was in alphabetical order you would know where you have to go to get to the forum you need to post a question to. I Think (and I'm a pretty good Thinker) that is why we are seeing some many post in the Get Started forum that have Nothing to do with Getting Started.
So in the Community Help forum someone asked about theAdobe Experience Manager, AEM, and was directed to the oolder forums. Which for AEM is still active. But we are stuck on the POS MESS of a forum. How can that be. Here is the post in this forum that pointed to the older forums. https://community.adobe.com/t5/Community-Help/User-generated-content-sync-between-two-publishers-in-AEM-Sling/td-p/10649787
The buttons for replying and posting disappear on mundane browser operations such as resizing the window, switching to another tab or downloading content (e.g. an image a user posted) from another tab while the reply input field is open. Seems like some script is running amok, in particular when there are two or more instances of forum pages open at any given time, but I'm too lazy to dig into the debug console. Windows 10, latest version of Chrome (77.0.3865.90, 64 bit). Mylenium
So before this site went live to the gneral public there was a preview of it that had a forum for testing and giving Feedback on this new layout and design. There were a LOT of post in that forum that pointed out the multiple flaws, miss steps, outright horrible design and the TOTAL Lack of Thought that went into this MESS you people at Adobe call a User to User Help forum. So exactly what happened to the Feedback & testing forum? I know no body listened to anything any of the participating ACP/MVP had to say because at the first day of Go Live of this forum NOTHING had changed. So exactly what happened to the Feedback & testing forum? So exactly what happened to the Feedback & testing forum? So exactly what happened to the Feedback & testing forum?
1. Once I open a thread in the list of threads, how do I return to the list where I left off? Now, when I return to the list, I'm brought to the top of the page which requires me to scroll down to where I was. (Previous forum layout returned me to where I was when I clicked an individual thread.) 2. Is there any way to determine which threads I've read in a given session just by looking at the list? (Previous forum layout recolored thread names to make this very easy.) If there's somewhere on the site that explains these things to me, I'd appreciate a link or instructions. Right now—probably due to my ignorance—the forum is quite tedious to work with. Moved this thread from Illustrator to Community Feedback. [MOD]
Yet another complaint/annoyance: There are no replies.........
Bob and two others? Who are they and were did they post? Have to search for the reply and open each and every nested reply.
Forum OPs are getting an email notification to mark a reply to their thread as correct if it resolves the issue, but they currently don't have the ability to do so.
So what are the changes coming to the forum on October 14th? I'm also posting this in the ACP forum so it can be responded to following the NDA.
Could we have the time of day, in addition to the date, that a post was made?

I have working on AEM 6.4. User sychrnization is working fine between two publihsers with Sling Content Distribution , but UGC or any content not get sync to other publisher.
I'm simply dumbfounded by the change. 95% of the time I have a problem with Adobe software, I google it and find the answer in an old discussion thread. (The other 5% is Youtube videos). You've just DESTROYED YEARS OF SUPPORT by killing links to these old threads. This is just a phenomenally stupid decision and I can't even imagine how much productivity is lost because of it. Go back and update the forum in a way that isn't so destructive.
