Hello,all my project are made with RH classic 2019.we release a new version this month. I don't want to take the risk to migrate if possible.I can't find download links to this version. I would like to migrate later, when I've lesser time constraints. is this still possible?best regardsOlivier

I am using RH 2020, update5.  I have a Responsive HTML5 layout using the Charcoal Grey skin.  I see the Expand All/Collapse All buttons on the desktop layout, but I need to have these buttons on the tablet and phone layouts, too.  Can this be done?  If yes, how, and thanks!  I'm fine with using a different skin if necessary.  Yes, I know the equivalent can be accomplished using a Frameless layout and skin, but we are having too many performance issues with the Frameless layout and I need to try something else.

Hi,I have connected Azure DevOps without any error to my project. When I hit check in (this is the first time) the dialogbox is empty and no files o check in. Anybody know what the problem is? Thanks

The following are my queries:a) Can this utility be run stand alone, i.e without installing the Robo-Help or it is always required to install the entire Robo-Help to run this command line utilityExample:RHCL D:\sukanta\workings\projects\VSTS\RoboHelp\PCC_Contract\PCC_Contract.xpj -l "WebHelp" -o D:\sukanta\workings\projects\VSTS\RoboHelp\OutPutTestb) Is there any licensing cost is involved, if we want to use RHCL only to build the output from the sourcec) If RHCL is not the proper choice for the purpose, is there any standalone command line utility available to only compile the RoboHelp source code to generate the output with out complete installation of RoboHelp. If such utility is available please let me know along with the licensing detail

Hi, Firstly, I am very new to Robohelp so please fogive my ignorance. I have an existing English Help project which I have successfully translated to Spanish. When I open the translated project, there are a few items which did not translate. The Index is still in English. Should this also be translated when I translated the project ? If not, hold do I handle the index in the Spanish Help ? thanksDave

Dear AllI have recently upgraded to Robohelp 2020 from Robohelp 10 so a big jump.    Mostly I am getting my round the changes but one thing that I cannot solve is that all conditional tags are showing the text in the wrong style.  I can see that I can change the colour of tags (which I do not want to do) but not how to make it the same style as the rest of the paragraph.  They are showing up as blue and very large, whereas I want them to blend in with the rest of the topic.I have found that there are certain words or groups of words that are also not in the right style and are randomly very large.  I can fix them one at a time which is time consuming but do'able but the tags are always large even if I create a new one.Any ideas?  Many thanks

hi,i'm using the 2020 version of robohelp and after compiling my help it contains some dirty characters like à in place of à and others similar. do i need to set something before compiling? maybe Italian characters?tks daniela

Hello, I am looking into working with the Responsive HTML5 output for the first time and I'm wondering how best to check that my project will display correctly on all devices. I want to be able to check that everything works before handing over the project to developers for publishing.Is it as simple as resizing the browser window on the PC to simulate a tablet or smartphone? That seems too easy! I've tried copying the output files to my smartphone file system and opening it from there but it doesn't display properly - should that work if the project is correctly formatted? Or do I need to publish it somehow so I can view it online and check that it adjusts to whatever device it is displayed on? All advice appreciated, thanks. 

I'm getting an unknown error in Word and haven't been able to pinpoint the cause. I get this when I try to open the Word output:My other projects are fine, just this one. Also, the HTML output is fine (I checked each page). I did some testing by changing the CSS with a project that works, removing the link to a template (same template as the working projects), and adding individual topics to a test TOC. This last test with the TOC showed some success. A topic without a variable was successful. However, removing variables from other topics that failed previously was randomly successful. I'm using 2020.5.71. When I checked for updates, I got 2020.5.0, which I did not install.

Hello RH Community,We just upgraded and find that RH2020 is not recognizing most paragraph returns when importing Word documents. After completing a paragraph, we normally would hit Enter 2x. One to get to the next line and another to create a space between paragraphs. We are finding that RH2020 is not recognizing the paragraph return so there is no space in between the paragraphs. It also happens between other styles.  We tried just increasing the spacing after or before the styles. But this would require us to have a different Word document version for RH; one without paragraph returns. Is there a RH tool for paragraph formats for before/after spacing where RH would keep on ignoring where there is a paragraph return in Word but provide spacing before or after the paragraph? This would happen within RH after importing the Word document. It might be difficult to get people to change how they naturally create paragraph spacing in Word. Your help trying to find a solution would

My team is trying to use GIT Collaboration for the first time.  I have a GIT account, SSH Key, and a created project pushed to GIT using a Private Enterprise Repository.  When I go to Connection Profiles and fill out the dialog box, I am getting an error message when I navigate to my SSH Key.  Does anyone know how to resolve this?

HI, I am facing this error while trying to generate an Output from the project which i had imported using earlier version of Robo Help. Any help on this error is very much appreciated!!!!

One of my team just changed her system (Windows) password which gives us access to everything within our network (Including Bitbucket).  She can no longer access Bitbucket from RoboHelp so she can't commit, push and pull from RoboHelp.  MACOS BigSur Version 11.5.2. RoboHelp 2020.5.58 We tried these steps: 1. At first she was getting this message when she tried to pull from within RoboHelp. It did not prompt for a new password though. Note:  When logging into Bitbucket directly she has access.  2. We tried removing the connection profile and re-adding in RoboHelp. 3. We have tried editing the keychain passwords (one for Onesource and one for RoboHelp ). 4. Then we tried uninstalling RoboHelp and reisntalling.5. She cannot clone the project in RoboHelp (It did not prompt for a password and no error messages).   

I was  creating an online book when I noticed that the Table of Contents window overlaps characters in a topic titles when the windows is not long enough.  I never saw this issue in previous versions. I know this is not a show stopper but then I haven't published the book yet either.  Can anyone tell me if this issue will be resolved by development?    

I am new to using RH2020, but previously used RH2017. I have a master glossary that I want to use for all my documents. RH2020 will only import a small fraction of my glossary (doesn't even make it through letter C). What can I do to import my entire glossary? I've tried adding it to the document on the back end, I've tried starting over, I've tried attaching it in the Output options (I can't even search for it there). 

I recently started using Robohelp 2020 Version 4. I mostly work with CHM. After upgrading the robohelp project to 2020, I noticed a sharp decrease in the chm size from 13678 KB to 8400 KB. Has anyone else has noticed this decrease in chm size? Is there a reason for this, maybe something to do with mprovements in robohelp? Also is there a way to compare two chm files with robohelp? I did test the help file thoroughly, the content seems to be all there, and context sensistive help is working.  

Hi all,I use RH 2020 and I am looking into what version control does. As far as I understand, version control saves every version of the document so multiple people can simultaneously work on Topics. We have 2 authors. However, we will probably barely edit Topics within RH. We will most likely use Word documents as our 'source of truth'. The Word docs will be imported into RH > from there only minor things are edited within RH.At the moment, I use an excel sheet for our version control. In this excel sheet we track: 1) when a document was last updated & by whom, 2) when a document needs to be reviewed again, 3) what has been changed per version. I was not able to find answers to the following questions:1- Is version control useful at all if there's only 1 author?2- Is version control useful if we don't edit Topics in RH, but we use Word docs as a source?3- Is it possible to set reminders to review a Topic with RH version control? i.e. set a reminder 6 months into

However, recently our company's IT Department updated from Robohelp Classic 2019 to Robohelp 2020 which looks different. I've done some research on this new update, but couldn't locate any merge project information. Hi all,This question is about setting up a new project in RoboHelp 2019 Classic so that the output is the same as many others that were created previously. I'm not at the point yet of being ready to upgrade to RH 2020 (although hopefully this well happen fairly soon) so I'm still using an install of RH 2019 Classic. I'm using the same style sheet and master page files as are used on the other prrojects, and I don't see a customized skin or screen layout that needs to be used, but the output doesn't appear the same as that of other projects. Topic content seems okay so far based on the style sheet. However, in the output the header bar is not the expected color and I need to reference the product logo so it's displayed in the header bar too. Any suggestions? Many thanks. 

As a Robohelp user, I have to say that I am pretty disappointed with RoboHelp 2020.  Why do I have underscores instead of spaces in my Topic Titles?  And, why do I have a Content section and Table of Contents section in the workspace that I cannot modify?  Where is the Options > Tools feature to remove the underscores?  

Hi there!I am using RoboHelp version 11 and I was wondering if I inserted a GIF with animation in a topic, would that animation appear in my project?Any help would be great.

I have recently upgraded from Robohelp 10 to version 2020 which has been a huge leap.  While I am slowly working my way round there is one big issue I cannot solve.  I use hyperlinks extensively to jump to different topics.  Since upgrading they have all got a green arrow next to them.  I assume this is a setting somewhere but I cannot find how to turn it off.  I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how to change this so that jumps/hyperlinks are just the normal blue and underlined but no arrow to the left of them.
