Hi, Looks like something not working as described on help for the "Force Sync" function. I have 2 translation projects, then i select one file i have modified and i validate using "Force Sync".Then nothing appening on destination file content, i just see the date change but nothing on content. And some files stay as "Not translated" even after using the "Force Sync". Anyone having the same issue on this ? Thanks

I have been using Robohelp without any issues on my log on since February Extensively. I used it last Thursday, then on Tuesday (yesterday) I saw that my Icons had gone white and when I try to use it I get an error that I dont have the correct permissions. Any ideas?

Hi Iam using RH 2017 and trying to add a SharePoint version control from:Collaborate > Add to version control > RoboHelp SharePoint Connector.When I enter the sharepoint site and credentials or check Windows Credentials option I get the error:The remote server returned an error (403 forbidden)Any idea if how to fix this? Is it because I don't have admin access to SharePoint? or something else that is resulting this error?

Hello, I am using Robohelp 2017 and my final output is responsive html. I would like to know if there is an option to add pdf button(just like the print button) in the skin. Clicking on this button should export the content and create a pdf file. Please reply.Thanks.

Hi, I am on my first Project...(Windows 10 v.  Type: Software Documentation. 3 audiences, 1) End User  2)Developers, and 3) Investors. The workflow is new to me. I set up a dozen topics (that look like chapters in mind) I imported 10-15 graphics files - Initially, I just drug and dropped from my screen shot program (SnagIt). or from the finder. All the graphics show up in the various Topics. When I select a graphic, it seems it is not being recognized as a graphic in Author, Properties, General. There is no options for frame, color weight etc. Adobe Support said I would have to import the graphics via the "Insert Image (Ctrl+G)" dialog for RH to properly recognize the graphics... I tried reimporting the graphics with the dialog box, sourcing the files from my project's asset folder(s). - The graphics are PNG files and look like they import fine.. Yet I am still unable to select the graphic and get the frame options to appear...... Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Th

I am using the glossary for contacts. I changed the glossary icon to a phone. But I haven't figured out how to change the tool tip to say, "Contacts". Has anyone successfully done this?

Hello,We have a few Classic Robohelp (*.xpj) files on which we have multiple writers working. We were all on the same Robohelp 2019 version so it wasn't an issue.Now, for some reason, one of us had to upgrade to Robohelp 2020. With this upgrade, we are not able to work on the same .xpj file because Robohelp 2020 does not support these files. We decided to upgrade the .xpj file to .rhpj in Robohelp 2019. However, when we open this .rhpj file in Robohelp 2020, we get a message saying once opened, this file may not work correctly on older versions. I understand how this might be an issue because Robohelp 2020 creates a separate "assets" folder.Finally, we decided that we'd all upgrade to the Robohelp 2020 version. However, before we made the upgrade, we decided to trial run this for a single .rhpj project. We used "labels" in our 2019 Robohelp project. Now, when we open this file in Robohelp 2020, we do not see any Labels file getting in from our older project. Instead, we see a .lng file

After updating my macOS to Big Sur, RoboHelp 2020.2 crashes while initializing. Does anyone else experience this?  My computer is a MacBook Pro i7 (Late 2013) - yes, quite an old machine but working fine with Big Sur and anything else except of RoboHelp 2020 and Captivate 2019 (for Captivate, there is a notification in the regarding Adobe Community section).

I am working with help projects where there are embedded PDF files which open directly from the TOC.I recently upgraded to RH 2020, obviously loosing the Classic UI we have been using to maintain these help projects. After upgrading to RH 2020 these links do not work anymore, and I have tried to use a workaround with a topic containing a thumbnail with a link to the PDF. This works OK, but means several extra clicks to open the PDF.It seems that the feature where you could add a link directly from a TOC book/page has disappeared or is not working correctly? I tried adding a link to a TOC page (in a "Book style" TOC), but the PDF did not open.Anyone else who has tried using this method and got it working in RH 2020? Regards,Rannveig

Is it possible to add an image (of smaller size) in the content and on click in the help output the image should popout a bigger size for viewing. And then we click anywhere on the page to close it.

RoboHelp version 10 Our RH project is using 500+ topics, which are manually linked to our software's "UIHelpCodes.h"  file.We then performed a test publish.and discovered the help buttons attempt to load the correct topic, but only the default topic loads.   The settings for generating the WebHelp output are shown below, and the "UIHelpCodes.h"  file is selected as the map file. The topic exists properly in the TOC and in the generated output. It also is shown to link in the whcsdata.js file: Has anyone seen similar behavior? On my work PC, I have a copy of RoboHelp 2020 installed from a recent download of Technical Communications Suite and is licensed using an active subscription. The version is 2020.0.156. When I'm logged into the account with the subscription and try Help>Check for Updates, I'm taken to Create Cloud and I can't see RoboHelp listed and I can't find any link to check for and download the latest update. On my home PC, I have the same software installed and right now it's still running under a trial license (so I'm not logged in). When I try Help>Check for Updates on that PC, I get the Adobe RoboHelp Update application instead of Creative Cloud and I can check for and update the software. I've done this twice in the past week and I am now running 2020.3.32 on the home PC. The problem is if I take a project into work, the older version 2020.0.156 on that PC complains about version incompaitibility on opening the project and in fact fails to generate. How can I force RoboH

Hi I have been tasked to upgrade robohelp.   However the issue is that the client does not have the robohelp code flies or the project file.   So, of course I am struggling to understand a couple of things:1.   Can you upgrade robohelp if you don't have access to the project files.  Of course I am inclined to say not but I am hoping someone can guide me.   2.   This is the most important part, the output of robohelp is a bunch of html files.   why should I care if they were generated in robohelp 2019 or 2005. 

I tried the Review tab in RH2020 and the workflow. That part works well. I can see the comments added by the reviewers as well.However, to be able to feed the reviews back in the help section I guess it is a manual task?Is there a way to handle it better or any solution for that? There are no track changes which is major blocker.

I am using Studio skin for a frameless output. I am all set.Just wanted to check if we can a small one-liner or couple of words description to the Tiles that can appear below the tile title.Is that Possible? If yes, where in RH do we add it?

I have for many years worked with RoboHelp 10 in one company. We have now been taken over by another company and have finally invested in a newer version: RoboHelp 2020.    Unfortunately upgrading the project has resulted in extremely many broken topic links. Actually only a few of them have been converted properly. There are about 800 topics needing to get their link fixed and there just MUST be a better way than starting over from scratch. There were no broken links in the project before upgrading. It is only used for online help, not for print.   What can have gone wrong? What can I try to do better?  

I am attempting to download RoboHelp, I complete the registartion ifo, click dowNLOd for the trail version and nothing happens.

I am viewing my RH content via Project-Content, and applying condional tags. This content was imported via Framemaker import. I now see that one of my screen captures goes beyon the bottom of the frame. An easy fix in FM, I select the frame, drag it down until my full image is inside the frame, done. But in RH the frame is not displayed, nor can I select a frame around an image. How do I make the FM image frames show up so that I can manipulate them if needed? In the image below i put a red square around an arrow in the image that goes nowhere because the bottom of the image is below the image frame. Is there a way to edit this in RH so that I can lower the frame or are the image frames lost in RH?  

I am using RH 2020.3.32 on a trial basis. I have created a project and created topics and content. I was generating frameless output using Quick Generate and it was working fine. Now, for some reason (and I  may have inadvertently changed something) none of my topics are being published. I have looked online for advice but can't find anything that covers this. I can't see what I am doing wrong if anyine can ppint me in the right direction please? Thanks in advance

RoboHelp 2020.1HTML5 Responsive out with Azure_Blue skinMerged output (1 parent, 11 children)Output resides on an IIS internal web server for access by internal staff (either onsite or VPN) ISSUEIf we add a new topic in a child project, generate new HTML5 Responsive output, and then copy the entire project over to our IIS internal web server, the new topic doesn't show up in search or the index until/unless a user clears their browser cache - via the clear "Cached images and files" option in Chrome or Edge Chromium (depends on which they're using). Once you do that, the new topic will appear in search results and the index. Also note that prior to clearing the cache, the new topic IS available in the table of contents and from any hyperlink in another existing topic; so that's interesting. I don't know much about web servers - I have a request into our IT team who admins the ISS web server on whether HTTP caching might address this issue. While I wait to hear back from them,

The appearance and behaviour of a ToC has changed (somehow) without my making any changes to the Layout or Skin.The ToC that appeared yesterday (see ToC1.png attached) is what I want. On opening, all top-level topics appear in the navigation pane, with the first topic open to reveal the child topics.This morning—without any intervention on my part—no ToC appears on opening (see ToC2.png). I have to click on the ToC button at the left to expose the ToC and then I only get the first topic and its children (see ToC3.png). I have to click on the tp topic to expose all the top-level topics in the entire ToC.I then opened another RH project I hadn't worked on for weeks. It too now displayed  this new (user-unfriendly) ToC format despite  it behaving as per ToC1.png previously.Something mysterious has gone on. Any ideas?

I am having an issue where my site is prompting for a login like the help site being called anew when a custom Topic Page Button link is clicked. Version: RH 2019 New UI (latest update)I am following Peter Grainge’s rules on merged help and ZoomSearch.Created a new frameless output, and imported help topics from classic UI. I have been able to generate and use the help successfully with HTML5 & Frameless skin.This is a merged help project with child projects in the parent:I generated ZoomSearch files and page in the search_files folder in the parent.The Frameless skin is imported into Parent & Child projects before generating output, so they are all using the same skin.I need search.html to be available from every page in the help (including merged children).On the Frameless skin, I replaced the Topic Page Button for Search to go to the Zoom search page, and this is where I’m running into issues. I cannot define an absolute path. RoboHelp 8I am working to reduce the number of topics that we have in our 3000+ project by taking a large number of very small topics and adding the text from them into one large topic with bookmarks. However, as I was working on this yesterday, RoboHelp crashed on me and when I relauched it, everything I was working one was hosed up pretty bad.Here is my process for this compilation:1. Create a new topic.2. Cut and paste the individual text from each of the small topics into the new large topic.3. Create a bookmark for each of the items in the new large topic.4. Delete the small topic files.5. Reset all of the broken links to the new bookmarks in the new large topic file.I was just about done with Step 4 when RoboHelp shut down on me without warning. Now about half of the deleted small topics reappeared and the other half are deleted, but are appearing in the Topic List with a red X by them and I can't get them to go away.I attempted to roll back to before the crash, but that didn't r

Hello,When using a deployed frameless build, I notice that when trying to use the search function multiple times, the search box disappears. Is there a way to fix this? 

My management may not renew my RoboHelp license. They do support InDesign and Dreamweaver. Is there a way to transition my RoboHelp projects to either of those products? If so, how difficult or time consuming is it?
