Using the Dark frameless skin, I have a problem where words are broken up like this in the topic navigation. If it were a standard topic I'd just shorten the headers rather than fuss, but this is a Troubleshooting page so it's tough to go much shorter without losing the reader. Is there a fix for this?

Where in the RoboHelp file system (or registry) are the profile connections (in my case, Git) you (RoboHelp project users/authors) create/configure stored? I had a bunch created (and active) and one day they just all disappeared (none of them were listed in the Collaborate menu). Very odd. Also of note, the list of recent projects that RoboHelp displays when you open RoboHelp was wiped clean - there were no recent projects listed. All the projects still exist on my local machine, as do the corresponding remote repos. As a result, I need to recreate every (in this case, 8 profile connections). Note: update 14 has been installed/running since its release. Thoughts?

I'm new to Robohelp.  I have created a sample project and now I am trying to display it from a c# .net application.  I'm having trouble determining what I need in my program to interact with the robohelp project, a demo or a manual would be helpful.

Upon Opening RH2019 Reimagined (NEW) / GIT- all connection profiles are gone. This is a frequent occurance among all of our team  members. We have not been able to determine a pattern for this behavior. Does anyone know what might be causing this to happen? Time consuming to have to re-create so often as we use several different ones during the day.

New RoboHelp 2020 user. Successfully setup and tested machine translation for Spanish and Portuguese, slick. The translation produced sub projects for Spanish and Portuguese. Satisfied with the translation setup, I turned back to the English main project and made some changes (.css, added image assets, etc.). The sub projects were now "Out of Sync" so reran the translations to sync things up.   The result was the sub project status indicated they are in sync, BUT the .css changes and new image assets are not present in either the sub projects. This is a problem for on-going maintenance. I'm hoping somebody can help. I've scoured the help resources to find the answer to what I think would be an obvious step-by-step for "updating a parent translation project". Primarily, it would be nice to know the following:   How to ensure .css remains the same among the main and sub projects? How to ensure newly added images to the main project are displayed in sub projects? Confirming: Is

Hi Everyone, We are working to migrate from RoboHelp 2019 Classic to RoboHelp 2019 New UI and are having issues with Style Sheets and the formatting of Multi-Level Lists. Here is the scenario: We have 18 Word documents that are the source files for our User Guide. The RoboHelp Project pulls in the contents of each Word document via Content / Link / Link File. Once the file is linked I use Edit Settings / Advanced to select  Convert Word Lists to HTML Lists and Import Inline Styles then select Create / Update topics.The result is content that looks perfect in the RoboHelp Content editor (List numbering, Fonts applied, Indentations correct) but has issues in the Responsive HTML5 output. When I create and apply the Master Page I loose the font formatting (the results of the Import Inline Styles). Everything I want to do works PERFECTLY in RoboHelp 2019 Classic.  Something happened in Reimagined - The List Paragraph style sheet is not being applied to the multi-level list items.&

Hi - I am fairly new to RoboHelp so bare with me. I inherited this project from someone else, and I created a new master page to make the pages look and feel different. How can I apply this master page to all of the pages in my project? Should I have just made the changes to the master page that is already applied? Any help would be appreciated!!

We have RoboHelp 2017 (latest version). We use a merged HTML5 help system, and we're customizing our first page (intro.htm) in that merged help system I'm knee-deep in Javascript code, and I need my js code on that page to find out if we're in a full context view or not. The easiest way, I can think of is to just check the URL. Example URL (Not in Full Context): file:///D:/DocProjects/Outputs/pcdmis/2021.1/en/helpcenter/mergedProjects/helpcentertopics/intro.htm  Example URL - In Full Context): file:///D:/DocProjects/Outputs/pcdmis/2021.1/en/helpcenter/index.htm#t=mergedProjects%2Fhelpcentertopics%2Fintro.htm  Note that the full context view has "#t=". That's the magic bit I'm checking for. Hi. I am using Robohelp 2019 v2019.0.14. I have several pages that use multiple stylesheets but when I compile using Responsive HTML only the main project stylesheet is included. Can someone please explain how I can get all stylesheets to be included?  Many thanks in advance.

Hello,I am not sure if this is user error or not.  I am using RH2020 (mac) with a Responsive HTML5 output. The issue i am facing is that the breadcrumb links (other than Home) do not navigate to intended page when clicked.  When i view the output in firefox developer tools, all breadcrumb links give the following url value: href="../../#" so clicking on them does nothing.   I added the breadcrumbs by going into my master page for web output and placed a breadcrumb placeholder in the header.  The actual text readout is perfect - just that the links don't work. Is there some step i am missing with this? 

RoboHelp 2020's autogeneration inserts social media links into my Responsive HTML output.Is there a setting or other means to prevent this generated output?

Hello,Not sure where to start troubleshooting.  I am using RH2020 MAC - update 1.  I am using the HTML5 output.  When i perform a search, there are some search result items return the entire page text contents in the search results window.  In viewing the topic code, nothing seems to jump out at me that would cause the issue.  In several instances, the term will only be listed once in the topic but the entire topic's contents will be listed in the search resultsResearch Results for "STIX"result 1xxxresult 2xxxxresult 3all text in the topicresult 4xxxxx    

I am using RH 2019. I generated a Responsive HTML 5 project. It works fine on Chrome (Windows and Mac); however, the TOC doesn't appear on Safari (Mac). Is there something I can do?

Can anyone tell me best practices for the Word Import Settings dialog? I am upgrading a large-ish project from Robohelp 2017 to Robohelp 2020, where I have used snippets extensively. Hello,We just updated to RH 2020 this week and are seeing 2 issues. One is that when we generate a Responsive Output, the Search Results displays breadcrumbs under every topic. Also, the text that displays below each topic seems almost random  and ideally, we'd like it to display the intro para - I've played around with context/characters but that hasn't seem to have helped. Any input would be much appreciated!

Just sharing the knowledge I gained from converting our RoboHelp HTML topic-based glossary to RoboHelp HTML's .GLO glossary.For years we've provided a glossary via a single topic; terms and definitions were presented in 2-column tables - one table for each letter, A-Z, top to bottom. Jump links for each letter at the top of the topic. For various reasons, I've been looking at the .GLO function (I really like the hotspot wizard, but I'm still not sure if it'll create any unintended formatting consequences with our content (thousands of topics)). We have a couple hundred terms and manually copying/pasting them in RoboHelp HTML is NOT something we want to do so I decided to see if I could automate most of the process (particularly since there's a single .GLO file and the guts of the terms/definitions is basic HTML).What you'll need:RoboHelp HTML 10 or RoboHelp HTML 2017 (likely applies to other versions; we have these two so I can verify it worked in both)MS Excel (or some

RH 2017 (latest) So, in some of our .htm pages, I noticed this style block kept appearing:  <style type="text/css">/*<![CDATA[*/ A:visited { color: #954F72; } A:link { color: #0563C1; } /*]]>*/</style>  This conflicts (takes precedence) with our style sheet, so I removed them. But what causes them to appear in the first place? I'm guessing it appears due to a copy and paste from Word into RH. Is that right? If so, is there a setting somewhere that turns this off so that copy-pasting only pastes straight text? I've not seen anything like that setting, and so my usual process is to paste into something that strips out all inline styling first, like Np++. Then copy from there into RH. I know in RH I can right-click on paragraphs, and choose Remove Attribute to get rid of inline styling at the paragraph level. But that doesn't do anything to this style block that gets added into the header. Thank you.

I've found a couple of other topics on the boards relating to this, but it looks like they might be for different versions of Robohelp. Thanks to Peter's great help on my PDF build issue I am on a roll. One more question ... it appears that the online docs generate fine as far as styles go. I'm using different master pages for online and print (different headers and footers).  I attached the same style sheet to the master pages.  The online docs use the style sheet as intended, but the PDF does not (it's like the styles don't exist). I've seen other posts that indicate that online and print need to use different style sheets. What do I need to add to the online style sheet to get the PDF Output to recognize that it will be used for print output?

I have a curious situation where a topic is suddenly not appearing in the compiled ToC. The topic is listed in the browser's navigation pane, but when I click on it, a message tells me the file is missing and may have been moved, edited or deleted. From within RH, the topic's file appears in the Contents list and the Table of Contents list, and it can be opened from both lists. Further, when I look in Explorer, the file is there, in the same folder as the other topics that appear with it in the compiled ToC. (These sibling topics display fine in the browser.) What could have caused one file that is certainly not mising in an RH project to be considered missing by a browser?

How can I remove the Favorites button from the home page? I use the 2020 version of  RoboHelp. 

I thought my questions were at an end. LOL I am having no problem generating Responsive HTML for my large project, but the PDF output has not yet been successful. I've poured over my project to try to figure out why it keeps failing, but I'm at a loss. Hello. I installed RoboHelp 2020. But after opening the program a new window appears , where I want to click on "Start free trial", I always get the message "An error occurred". If i close the window the whole RoboHelp program shutts down. If there is someone, who solved the problem or had the same problem, i would be thankful. Best regards.
