Good morning ladies and gents, I started a new project with the Frameless Dark skin this week, and I've run into a problem.  I'm not sure if it's a common issue or if it's just me, but it seems like the breadcrumbs Home button/link is broken.  It keeps taking me back to a topic that I no longer have in my project, the First_Topic.htm topic that is the default topic when you create a new project.  I have tried to find out where I can edit the information for that topic, but I can't find it.  When I click it here, it just gives me a broken link error, because obviously the topic doesn't exist.  I want the button/link to take me back to the home page for the project.  It's the Home link/button I have in the attachment. Can someone please assist?  If I click the Title bar/icon it takes me back to where I want to be without an issue.  Ideally the Home button/link would do the same?

Hi,I am trying to change some of the labels in my project, but I am just not able to. I navigated to the Labels file, clicked the "..." icon, and then selected Edit. I am expecting this to open up a label editor. But nothing happens.Could you please check and let me know if I am doing something wrong? Thanks!

Does anyone know if there is a way of telling which reports in my project are not referrenced in my Table Of Contents? I'm using RoboHelp 2019, the minimal view. Thanks.

Hi,I am using RH 11 and Visual Studio for source control.I need to take an archived version of my RH project and open it for edits that do not go in the current project.When I unzip my archive, it automatically links it to source control and downloads the latest version of the project.It supplants the current project in source control, and even changes the path mapping in source control to match that of the archive project.So what I need to be able to do is open my archive project without it interfacing with source control. Is there a file I can edit that links the project to source control? I can't even open the project in RH because it hijacks the source control mapping.Thanks.

Hi guys, I've been using a lot of drop-down text section in my documentation.  I use them to show/hide additional information on certain sections, and I have anything between 2 and 10 of them on each of the pages in my documentation, so I can't just leave them out.   However, since upgrading my project to the 2019 layout, I keep getting "failures" on my drop-down text sections.  A bunch of them simply stopped working, in other words they don't "drop down" when I double-click them in the editor, and they also don't work when I click them in the HTML5 output.   Further, in the previous version (2017), I used to simply copy-paste the collapsed drop-down text section to where I needed a new one (because I have some containers in them I use across the board) and edited the images or tables as needed.  When I do the same now, it seems the drop-downs get linked together, so if I open up one in the output, they all open up and the images are all stuffed up.   I di

Do most users of Robohelp 2017 use the built in editor? After using Microsoft Word and Publisher for all my documentation, I find the Robohelp editor to be very antiquated.    Thank you for your response.

In the previous version of RH that I used, I could generate a PDF for review. It would contain only the topics I selected, and the review comments would be enabled. I do not see such an option in RH 2019. When I try to generate a PDF from the Output tab, I don't see a way to select individual topics. Is this function gone now? Thank you,Cindy 

RoboHelp 10 - latest release.   Moderator Note. Later corrected to RoboHelp 2019 Update 10   In the CSS that I have inherited, I have three paragraph styles (list-bullet, list-bullet-1, and list-bullet-2) that ideally should be list styles so that I can get the type of indentation/wrapping in my bulleted lists. (The attached screen capture shows in the top graphic the way that a bulleted list wraps now and the bottom screen capture shows what I want. )     I mocked up this graphic to show what I want - I am not actually getting what I want no matter where I try to modify these styles. I need a quick lesson on creating an android or IOS help system with Robohelp. I am use to creating Windows CHM help systems in Robohelp.  Please tell me what project type to select and build under?Can I view it on the PC with the phone layout? What is the file extension for the android help system after compiled? Thank you in advance for your answers. 

Hello Robohelp Community,Is there a way to create links in the Breadcrumbs that does not follow the TOC hierarchy? It appears each link in the breadcrumbs chain corresponds to a book in the TOC rather than a folder in the project's directory structure (my TOC is different than the directory structure).

I am trying to figure out if you can use keyboard to naivgate the frameless layout, does it work with screen readers, etc? I like the Frameless look and it meets GDPR requirements, but I also need to make it accessible. Wondering what my best options are to meet both requirements.

I am trying to build help via command line to integrate into a CI/CD pipeline but it keeps telling me the preset does not exist (even though the preset is visible) The error that comes from command line is: "Preset name "namehere" does not exist in the project" The command I use to build is: robohelp.exe --cl "proj.rhpj" -o PresetName -l c:\temp\logs -p c:\temp\output It gives that error and does not generate a log or output.

RH2019.0.10, new UI.Create a bookmark with the bookmark icon.Save the topic, so the bookmark becomes available in the contents section.Link to the bookmark within the same topic (drag it from the contents into the topic).Save the topic again.Double-click on te bookmark and change its name.Save the topic.Examine the link with ctrl-k. This link still uses the first name of the bookmark, and now is a broken link as a result. I don't mean the display text, that shouldn't change. But the link itself links to the old bookmark as well.Anyone else can confirm this? Will bookmark links also break when a topic is moved to another folder within the UI?

I have been using RH 11 for quite some time now. We are creating our manual in Word and link the chapters to RH. A while ago, our manual for which we create an output everyday could not be displayed in Firefox anymore (after an update) so we switched to Google Chrome but since then our cross references have been broken. These cross references only point to figures or sections within the same document, not to any external documents or other chapters. These cross references have been created "normally" in Word and work fine in Word and PDF files. I am grateful for any suggestions/help to solve this problem!!!

Hi,I am using the built in ‘Black’ theme (but I’ve tested some others too and they all behave the same way) to generate Responsive HTML help documentation for an application. The default ‘target’ attribute for the TOC div (when viewing on a small screen so that the TOC is collapsed) it set to “_top” (in Index.html). In this state, when the user clicks on the TOC (or the index or glossary) button, it crashes the application. To avoid this issue, we manually changed the attribute to “_self” and it doesn’t crash anymore. However, we end of with this situation when we click on the TOC button in collapsed mode:  Each time the TOC is accessed, it reloads the entire page (including the title bar and the button bar.  Is there any way to modify this behaviour without having to change the ‘target’ attribute of these buttons to “_top” or “_blank”? Thanks

I'm having difficulties with the "Insert Link" functionality in RoboHelp 2019. I've attempted to link files on my desktop as well as files on our corporate shared drive and neither file seems to open. Each time I select Local Files, browse for the file, type an appropriate name, and select one of the display in options and click "Link". Then I navigate to the preview screen of the authoring tab and click on the link. Rather than the file itself opening up, the browse files dialog box opens. Not sure what i'm missing here - anyone have guidance they can share?

I currently have two paragraph styles for two different bulleted lists in my css. In the attached graphic, the top bulleted list shows how these paragraphs are wrapping - w/ the text underneath the bullet. As I understand it, to create a bulleted list that has the indentation that I want with the text wrapping underneath itself and not under the bullet (the second list in the attached graphic), I must also have a list style that corresponds to the paragraph style, for example: p.Listing-bullet-1ol.p.Listing-bullet-1 If this is a true understanding, what properties do I define for the paragraph style and what properties do I define for the list style?  If I have a completely incorrect understanding and need to set up my styles for bulleted lists differently, I would appreciate the assistance. I have searched the OLH for RH2019 and cannot find the information that I need. Regards, TVB

I'm using RH 2017, latest version. I have a large merged with Help system with a master project and serveral children help projects. I have a local ISS web server (localhost) I set up to test how files look like on a real webserver locally before pushing them up to the public. However, when I view the generated help on the localhost webserver, RoboHelp files look bad, like the screen layout formatting is somehow missing?  But when I view the exact same files on the local disk drive itself, it looks fine (it also looks fine on the actual remote web server): Any ideas why and how to resolve this? RH new UI. latest patch.I've put the PDF I want users to download in the assets/docs folder. See screenshot.However, when I generate the Online Help, it is looking for a file in downloads/help.pdfWhile I can get around this by copying/pasting my PDF into the downloads folder, I'd like to know if this is an actual issue or is there a setting somewhere else, eg in the Skin?, that's setting this downloads folder. thanks.   

I am trying to install ROBOHelp 2019, but somehow it stucks at 95% only. I have lincense for the same.I tried many times but no use. I installed Adobe Creative Cloud also, but still issue is there. Can anyone please tell me what are the prerequisite for installing ROBOHelp 2019?
