Hi everyone.I've been facing problems when I try to output my CHM file (RoboHelp 11).The problem is that some topics appear in the list, but their content is in blank!Some topics are OK, but others are in blank. When I generate them clicking "Microsoft HTML Help" sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why it happens... If you can help me... It's save on a local folder. The weirdest thing is that some topics are OK, but others not.Sometimes the same topic can be viewed, but if I generate it again, the same content disappears...I will put some pictures to explain it better to you. The next image is the same topic shown in the previous image... I can't figure out why it happens...Thanks in advance!

Greetings,I found slightly similar issues when I searched the forum. However, none of them appeared to match my specific issue.I am using RoboHelp 2015 and the latest version of Firefox.We have page-level CSH in one of our products. When using Firefox, clicking the page-level Help links opens the Help window. However, it is blank. This does not occur in IE or Chrome.The Developers noted the following problem:Take for example our Views.htm topic.The following line causes a problem:var nPos = location.hash.indexOf(">>");In Chrome, location.hash has the following value:.../onlinehelp/whskin_tw.htm#Views/views.htm>>cap=CSH>>pan=1In Firefox, the same line has the same value, only encoded as follows:.../onlinehelp/whskin_tw.htm#Views/views.htm%3E%3Ecap=CSH%3E%3Epan=1The Developers have come up with a "quick and dirty" fix, but it would have to be applied each time we push the Help system to one of our environments.Can anyone help?Thanks in advance!Ann GreensethIntermedix

I cannot change the font in the Font change button on my customized ribbon. The font I selected doesn’t show up. It changes for a random font. At least, the Font change button in the Edit module stills work but it is disrupting my work a lot.This bug appeared randomly, suddenly. We relaunched Robohelp.We tried in a blank project.We restarted the computer.We desintalled Robohelp and installed it again.Nothing works. Anyone had this problem and was able to fix it ? Thanks.

RH10I've been using the Skinny on Skins (aka the bible) to customize a skin, but found something I want to change that isn't listed.I changed the font of the main toolbar to be bold, but that includes the "- Search -" in the search input toolbar. I found instructions to change what the text is, but I'd like to change its appearance, e.g. to grey italics, so it's not as dominant.Is this possible?

Hello,Several weeks ago I was given a new laptop with Windows 10.  I reinstalled all of my Adobe products including RoboHelp 2017 (13.0.1.27)and Captivate 9.We use RoboServer 9. Last week I uploaded a new SWF Captivate file to RoboHelp and then attempted to publish.  Repeatedly I get a  Runtime Error Program:...es(x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 2017\RoboHTML\RoboHTML.exe  abnormal program termination.  RoboHelp immediately crashes once I acknowledge the Runtime error.I removed the newly uploaded SWF file and attempted to re-publish but it still fails.  I always check to see how far into publishing it gets before it fails and it will randomly fail on another SWF file or a PDF - all files which have previously published for over a year.I've tried deleting my .cpd file.I've uninstalled RoboHelp and Captivate and reinstalled.Needless to say I have had many reboots since.I have tried publishing other projects and the results are hit and miss.  One time they wil

We use RoboHelp 2015 to write and publish the content for four different user guides. There are over 1,000 images in use across the project. Each image is included as a shared resource (FrameMaker and RoboHelp share images across projects), and within the RoboHelp projects, we use RoboHelp's tools to resize each image individually, i.e. the Size button in the Image dialog box. For an upcoming release, we plan to change the size of all our images, which would cause RH to stretch or squish the images once it updates. We'd like to remove RH's individual image resizing and bulk resize all the images to a uniform scale. Is there a way to remove RH's individual scaling across topics? Is there an Adobe (or other) plugin that can bulk resize images to a specific dimension? Thanks!

Using RoboHelp 2017, can I completely remove the Search functionality in the responsive HTML5 output? I cannot see a way of doing this in the GUI, but wondered if I have missed a setting. Perhaps someone could suggest another way to to this. Another quite unusual question please: I have removed the TOC from the output, but the left-hand pane, in which it was displayed, is still shown in the output. Please could you advise how this pane could be hidden please?Thanks very much

Rick, is there a way to remove the search feature entirely from the HTML5 Responsive output? I have a wee little project that contains release content topics that pop up as the app is opened - nothing to search on, really, so I want to boot the whole search function off the output pages. Can't find where to do it...

I'm testing a nearly finished help module, and I'm seeing image file names when I using the search function. I've tried all the layouts. It happens in each. It isn't happening in other modules I've created using the same starter module, so I'm at a loss. 

Using RH 11.4.0.291Exporting HTML5Using Internet Explorer 11I've been asked by our Design team to replace the PNG logo I've been using in the Topic.slp file for some SVG code they've given me - basically, they've designed the logo in Illustrator, and exported it as SVG, and given me the inline code to use.The resulting output works fine in Chrome, but when we test the site in IE, no content will appear in the topic frame. The logo appears okay - but somehow the SVG code is affecting the topic frame, and it just remains blank. I do have examples of SVG images in other topics, and they display just fine, otherwise. It's only when I try to use that code in the topic.slp file, that there's an issue. Furthermore, when we click through the Table of Contents (which appears to display okay), it'll refresh itself, as if we've started again. Sometimes I do see the topic content flash into the entire IE window, but within a fraction of a second it has disappeared.I've tried exporting my own SVG c

I would like to add a title page and some section pages to the document created by PDF Review. Is this possible in Robohelp 2017?Is there a work a round?Also, can I put comments in each topic to tell the reviewer what has changed?Thanks in advance,Paul

We installed Update 2 for RoboHelp 2017 this week and found that searching from projects that use the Indigo HTML5 layout no longer works from Internet Explorer 11 but it continues to work in Chrome. We had no problem with IE11 prior to applying Update 2. Could this be a bug in Update 2? Is there a workaround? How can I remove Update 2?

Hello there,I am currently using Robohelp 2017 to generate a Webhelp for our product. However, there is a requirement wherein the users should be able to convert the Webhelp (CSH basically) to PDF. Is it possible add an option (a script or otherwise) that can enable the users to save the entire WebHelp in a PDF format? The PDF should use the WebHelp TOC as the basis for structuring.

Hi,I'm using RoboHelp 10, and when I try to generate a chm file, I see the Table of Contents. But when I click on a topic, nothing shows up. I didn't get an error message when I was generating the chm file, so I don't know what the problem is. Has anyone seen this before? How can I troubleshoot?Thanks.

Hello,I am using RoboHelp 2015 to create .chm files.  We are currently upgrading to Windows 10 Anniversary 1607 upgrade.On a machine running the 1607 upgrade, on occasion when closing a .chm file we will get an error that says Microsoft HTML Help Executable has Stopped Working.Opening and closing the same file that caused the error again will not produce the error.  The error appears to be random with no pattern to duplicate it.  For example, I might open a file 10 times with no error and on the 11th try the error appears.  We have many .chm files and the error seems to happen at any time when closing a file.  It doesn't appear to affecting the file itself as it is usable and only happens when closing the file.Has anyone experienced this behavior or know how to eliminate the random error?  It has never appeared on any of our Windows 10 machines before installing the 1607 upgrade.Thank you.John

My client wants to link a very large job aid of a table of common edits (in an Excel Spreadsheet) to the manual (in RH) containing the solution.  Each Excel line item in the table would link to a spot in the manual.  In RH I have each of them flagged as bookmarks.  1.  How can I at least get the bookmarks to show up as subtopics in my table of contents in my generated and published document?2.  How can I link each line item the Excel Spreadsheet over to the bookmark in on the desired page? Right now I can only drill down as far as the page.Thanks in advance for your help.

I have generated a responsive HTML 5 output through Robohelp 11. The output is absolutely fine and responsive when I view it from the desktop. But when I am viewing the output from my mobile, only the content is appearing, none of the images and icons are appearing, it doesn't seem to be responsive. Can you guys please suggest a solution?

Hello Experts,I have a project created in robohelp11.My project has about 20 topics.  I am able to generate the project without issues in Responsive HTML5, and I can view the project in Chrome and Internet Explorer without issue.The Help content is being added to an existing android app and displayed in the devices browser, called from the app.Issue: Help opens on the android device, but the topics are not being displayed, the window is blank.  I am able to open and view without issue the TOC, index, and glossary.Side note: I generated the project as a native android app and installed it on my phone, everything worked fine, no issues at all.Please help,Jim

Hello, our team has started to see an issue with RoboHelp 2015 and updating from Microsoft Word files. When I make a change to a Word document and try to update in RoboHelp I get an error saying "Import Session Failed (0x80004005), If this error continues contact Technical Support".- We're seeing this issue on installs of RH2015 on Windows 7 and Windows 10.- The problem exists on any file I try and update, even in two separate RH projects.- Environment I'm running is Windows 10 64bit, Office 365 64bit, and RoboHelp 2015- I've updated everything in Windows and RoboHelp (running RH 12.0.4.460).Has anyone found a fix for this?
