Background: I have created Responsive HTML5 Help using RH 2015 for a web-based application. I have organized the Hep by Role, then by pages users with those roles can access, and then by tasks users can perform on that page. In several cases, a topic is listed under multiple roles and for re-use and efficiency, I’ve just dragged that same topic from the topic list into the TOC where applicable.I’ve also used conditionalized text on the TOC level by role. Using the example below, I have conditions for Physician, Nurse, and Patient but I don’t think that’s part of the issue though. Conditionalized roles were created for filtering purposes. The issue: I have Overview topics that include hyperlinks to the topics in red in the example below for each role. When a user clicks on the hyperlink in that Overview topic, it brings them to the FIRST occurrence of that topic in the TOC, not the link that is associated with their role. We use snippets extensively in throughout multiple topics. Everthing works as expected when we build CHMs and WebHelp directly from the RoboHelp interface, which means the snippets are included in the output; however, when we build the same help (from the same projects) using the command line functionality, the snippets are not included.Anyone have a clue about why that might be the case?Thanks.

Hi all,Two questions about RH2015:-  Is there a way to change the interface of the Related Topics popup? I don't see how I can do this in the code. It's a bit small for my taste.-  How can I bring in my template from RH11? Will everything from my existing Project come into RH2015 when I open it in RH2015? (I hesitate to open existing projects until I see if there are any bugs in RH2015. I have also gone through the entire RH2015 manual, and I have to say I am very disappointed that they copied and pasted from the old manual, and a lot of the procedures and icons are incorrect.)Thanks,Pam

I upgraded from RoboHelp 9 to RoboHelp 2015 this spring.My company's products are SaaS cloud-based applications. I generate Web Help output for a product. I deliver the output to our Product Development team, who then commits the content and all RH output files to their SVN source control project. The help system is then deployed together with the application as a WAR file to a web application server. Context-sensitive mappings are maintained in a properties file.After a deployment to our pre-production server environment, it was found in QA that my web help content would not open using Internet Explorer 10. It threw the following message: "Object doesn't support property or method 'registerListener2' " and it references the whproxy.js file.The help file opens fine in Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.I downloaded and installed the 12.0.3.428 patch for RH 2015. It did not resolve the problem.Can anyone suggest a fix?Thank you

I have a page where I placed numbered items (1. instructions...., 2.  instructions..., etc.). When I preview the page in RoboHelp 2015 the numbered list appears with numbers and everything looks good. When I view the RoboHelp output file, the page with the numbered items looks fine. I inserted a hyperlink to this page (page A), from another page (page B). When I click the link to the page A from page B, all the numbers for the list don't show on page A.The numbered list was created using multi-level number list icon. All lists uses a style.This problem doesn't appear on every page that was done using the same structure and formatting. As long as any of our RHelp authors are Updating an existing topic – checkout, edit and then check-in all is good, in that those changes are visible from RoboSource Client Explorer along with the history and other users/authors can see the changes made by any other author via RH2015.  However, when Author X creates a new Topic and checks it into Version Control, there are no errors on the checkin BUT Author Y can only see the original newly created page and not any edits that any other Author has created. Author Y can do their own edits but only the person doing the updates can see their updates and not edits made by anyone else. PLUS when viewing the DB/Project from the RoboSource Control 3.1 Client Explorer while logged into the actual machine where RoboSource Control Server is installed, Only the original copy of the new Topic/Page is visible with no history of the edits made by any author.Existing topics/page work as expected. Hi,So - long story short, I started with one of the default layouts and heavily customized it using CSS. Everything works just fine in Chrome, but when the output is loaded in IE, the entire page shifts to the left, hiding a bit of the Nav panel on the left and leaving a white space on the right. It looks about the width of a scrollbar, and I tried forcing a scrollbar (as suggested by the folks over on stackexchange) but it hasn't fixed the problem. Sadly, I cannot mandate that our clients use Chrome. Any ideas?

Hi,I am using Responsive HTML5 in Robohelp 2015.The Azure_Blue layout works fine but when the search results are set to appear in the Content section no scroll bar is shown, so you cannot navigate to the search results that are off the screen. Scrollbars are shown when its set to appear in the sidebar. Tried in many different browsers - same result.Is this is bug? Do others get this issue?See screen shot below.Cheers

What is the syntax for calling a webhelp that contains content categories using the API?  I also noticed that no index_csh.htm is generated, can the URL method be used with such a webhelp (i.e., specifying the map number or ID over the URL)?When you use the CSH-Test tool that is provided with RH then an additional field is displayed to enter the name of the category - so evidently the call must be modified in some way to hand over the category name.The help of Robohelp does not appear to contain any information about this.

When the Responsive HTML 5.0 output is opened in a mobile browser or in any browser with a zoom level of 150%, the full TOC is not displayed.I have to click the Hamburger menu twice to display the full TOC menu on the left side bar. Please help.

I upgraded from RH11 to RH15 and my output was Responsive HTML5.  In RH11, the index and glossary separated the words in alphabetical order with a subheading of A, B, C, etc.  When I output in RH15, those separations are gone and now it's one alphabetical list.  Does anyone know how I can get that back?

Hi Everyone, For the last several months I've been working in RoboHelp to stand up a new project for a client. This client utilizes Team Foundation Server (TFS) to store and deploy code to the system. As such, RoboHelp was integrated with TFS via version control so that multiple individuals could access RH from different locations and update content, as necessary.I have found that I am having several issues:1. Multiple files do not appear to be shared or pulled into RH even though they exist on TFS. For instance, I created 2 different Responsive HTML 5 output files and although they exist on TFS after I checked them in, I recently upgraded RH and the files no longer appear in the Outputs pod. Additionally, no one else can get the outputs that I created to appear on their local versions of RH.  Thoughts? -- Some additional files that do not appear to be updated properly via the TFS/RH connection include: WebAppHelp.hhc, any snippets, any output files, rhbuildtag.apj, rhlayout.apj.2

The company I work for uses Drupal for the website. They would like for me to integrate my WebHelp in Drupal. Has anyone tried this? I haven't seen any Drupal modules that import from RoboHelp or whatever. Or perhaps just a way to have a Drupal "wrapper" and frame it around the webhelp?Thanks,Karla

I don't know what the name of the function was in earlier versions - I just knew what icon to click. What I need to do in RH15 is display topics in a browser WITHOUT generating output. I went through every tab in the Customize User Interface dialog, and didn't see anything that looked like it would do this. What is the name of this function, and which tab is it under?Thanks!

I really like the idea of layering content with twisties for online outputs, but when it comes to PDF output, I'm struggling with the best way to deal with them. For example, in my PDF, I don't want a button that says "Show All." First off, I know I did it wrong. Now, I'm trying to clean up my mess in the most time efficient method possible.I inserted images with cut and paste.  The images were stored in the root of the project, and not in the Images folder as I expected.  I tried to drop and drag inside the Project Manager, but the files won't budge.Next, I moved the file in File Explorer (outside RH) and then manually updated the link.  That works, but it is time intensive.  Is there an easier way?Shannon

I was notified today that our online help had the text highlighted in yellow. I opened RH11, checked multiple topics, and every one of them had all the text highlighted in yellow. Do any of you know how I may have accidentally done this and how set it back to normal (non highlighted text)?Thank you,Eric

Hello.I have been instructed to begin using Responsive HTML5 output for my user guides in RoboHelp 11.The only themes I have are:     Theme 1: Standard     Theme 2: Government     Theme 3: BlackWithin the Gallery I select 'Check for new screen layouts" and I am taken to this site: Learn how to download and use new screen profiles and layouts in RoboHelp I am not a programmer and I do not understand how to download the other themes.Can someone give me dumb user instructions?Thank you,Michele

After a system recovery I re-installed Robohelp 11 on my Desktop.I have a problem with opening old projects. When opening from the normal folder on my D:\Aart Korstjens\Mijn Documenten\My RoboHelp Projects\Adobe RoboHelp 2015 I see this message. . When I copy this folder to my desktop and I try to open the same project from there is no problem!Also a problem with new projest.
