I'm using RoboHelp 2015. I have a help project that was originally created for WebHelp output. What does error 404 mean on my live website?  The project is in RoboHelp but the error shows up on the live site.

I generated a WebHelp project with Adobe RoboHelp 10 last November. I had no problems with the TOC or index. Whenever I try to view output today, IE won't show the left pane with the list of topics in the Table of Contents. It also doesn't show index tags. I have no problem viewing this same output in Mozilla Firefox. I just set Firefox to be my default browser b/c it is so frustrating that I can't immediately view changes to my help project. Has anyone else experienced issues with IE 11? I even cleared cookies and the cache, and I still can't see my TOC and index. This never happened before.

Hi,I am using RoboHelp 10 and facing a strange issue in my project. I only see a limited number of master pages in the Project Set-up pod, but if i browse using Explore, or if i browse using Windows Explorer, I can see a whole lot of other templates too. These master pages that do not show up in RoboHelp's pod view, are also being used in the project and are not unreferenced.Exploring all possible options, I also tried editing the rhtemplate.apj file, located in the project folder. I did find in rhtemplate.apj only those file names of master pages that were visible in Robohelp. Would appreciate suggestions on what I am doing wrong or if this is expected.

While creating the help file using RoboHelp 11, when I tried to create the file through the Responsive HTML5 (Primary Layout) link, I repeatedly got a pop-up indicating that RoboHelp 11 has stopped functioning. This happens for one of the large Word documents (91MB) but not for smaller sized document. Do you have any suggestions on how this issue can be resolved?

Hi all,Just setting up merging in Multiscreen HTML5 output. It appears that publishing the parent publishes all the children that might exist in the "mergedProjects" folder. This is pretty undesirable behaviour when different people are working on each of the children and with different publishing schedules.How do people manage this so that outdated or draft/test builds aren't pubished?And does anyone know if this is the same for Responsive HTML5? Would we need to publish the parent and children all at the same time every time (given the children have to be generated into the parent build - or is that only the first time)?Regards,Amber

Hello,I am using RoboHelp 2015 and Word 2013 under Windows 8.1. When I try to generate a .doc file it stops at "Processing Topics" and never continues. Clicking Cancel doesn't help and I have to end task through the task manager. I saw a similar topic, and tried out all the solutions provided there but to no avail.Do you have any suggestions on what I can do?Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'd like to generate a WebHelp output in RH 11 with a provided skin (i.e. "XP silver"). In the WebHelp-Skin-Editor I do see the navigation bar.Generating the WebHelp, I do not see the navigation bar (Browser is IE11 or Firefox 42). Any Ideas? Any option I forgot to tic before generating?Cheers

Hi,I generated a webhelp that should be called context sensitive in a java application.Our developer uses the provided java api. I did map the topics to the topic IDs to the topic number to the topics. Now I got the .h and the .ali file in my project folder. I did export the .h file so now I got the .properties file in the "ExtraMapFiles" folder.Besides the webhelp output  directory, which file(s) do I have to provide to our developer? The ".properties" file? Where does the developer have to place it?The provided RH help is not very helpful in this case...Cheers

Will creating new topics while working offline sync correctly to the server when I connect again?

I'm having trouble figuring out what's wrong with the buttons in this skin.  The issue is when the help is first opened, all of the labels on the toolbar buttons display.  However, when you click on a button the right thing happens (TOC displays, or Index displays, etc.) but the button "disappears".  How can I keep the name of the button visible while perhaps having it change color or something to indicate it's the active one?I've attached screen shots that I hope will help.  Hopefully they come through with this post.Any help would be appreciated.Diane         

If I click on the main topic and say print from here I get a JavaScript Error.  Some other Topics work fine.  Help please.

Seems a lot of people think you can get robohelp skins here - https://creative.adobe.com/addons but they do not exist. Seems odd that adobe would put so much money and effort into creating Robohelp 2015 yet not supply a nice gallery of skin options. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a user guide which was created before I became the technical writer. I started using RoboHelp 7 and I am not sure if this guide was created in an earlier version of RoboHelp. I was upgraded to RoboHelp 9 then to version 11. The file contains 3237 files, 480 folders and the size is 64.5 MB. I had someone backing me up when I was out of the office. She used different font on some topics than what was used in the rest of the guide. (Arial was used in the guide, she used Calibri.) I am now updating the guide and I cannot change the font. When my cursor is sitting on text within a topic the heading and font fields keeps flashing. Header flashes from Normal to Heading 1 and Font  flashes Times New Roman and Arial. When I click the drop-down for font, I am unable to select anything because the drop-down keeps scrolling, If I try to scroll up, the drop-down keeps going back to Time New Roman. And it happens so fast I am unable to click on a selection. I tried selecting the font wit

Trying to move from WebHelp to Multiscreen HTML5. We created live test site to test/experiment with. We're still not clear on how to properly link from our software system to a Help page. Here's a little background:With webhelp, linking is simple. But it doesn't seem to work the same with HTML5 - or should it? Every link has "desktop" added to it (and yep, desktop is the default.) But if I'm browsing on my iphone with Chrome or Safari, it also defaults to desktop. Should it change to "phone?"We link from our software system directly to Help pages. For example, if you're looking at our oranges page, we link to oranges in Help (but a whole lot more complicated than oranges!) Therefore, we need to update virtually our entire system with links to Help - and those links have to be right. Other than this, we like the HTML site. Once we solve linking, we'll be ready to release to our customer base.Thanks!Julie

Have a WebHelp project in RH 11 and would like to add a Feedback button to the toolbar.  The information I've found here provides information on buttons that send emails with a link to a specific topic. I don't need the link to a topic - only want a button that will open a blank email with pre-populated To: and CC: addresses...no link to a topic. As always, any help would be appreciated.Diane

Hello,I'm trying to find the Unused Files report in RoboHelp 2015 (12.0.1.338). The help advises to select Tools > Project Status > Unused Files. It seems the only report I can view is Project Status. All the reports available in previous versions of RoboHelp seem to have disappeared.Can anyone advise as to whether the reports are available in RH2015?Thanks you,Tim

I am experimenting with RoboHelp 2015 trial version. I imported the framemaker files and in the Project settings tab I was able to select para and char settings via the + sign in 'Edit Conversions settings' in the Project Settings tab, but now after generating the plus signs are not there and I have no option to edit, please advise.

I have added a hyperlink which is a .mp4 video file but it won't run when I generate the document.

Is there a way to convert a Word document to PDF, without having to save the PDF? I would like to just open it in Acrobat so that I can either email or save it directly into our document management program.

My computer was reimaged and I need to download and reinstall Robohelp 11. I do not want to upgrade at this point. Where can I find the appropriate download for RoboHelp 11?Thank you.

Just installed Robohelp 2016; it worked for one day, but now I am receiving this Error Message. Uninstalled and reinstalled but got same result;  has anyone else seen this??

Is RoboHelp 11 compatible with a 64 bit operating system?

What options are available for Robohelp 2015 (responsive HTML5) analytics/reporting and user feedback? Robohelp Server apparently isn't an option. I have considered Google Analytics, but judging by another post based on Robohelp 7, it wasn't a good option. I don't know if that has changed with Adobe's newest product, however. For user feedback, I have looked at embedding Wufoo feedback forms. They work, but it looks like I would need to create a separate form for each page. That would certainly turn into a major headache. I'm hoping Rh 2015 has these features built-in and I am somehow overlooking them. I doubt that is the case with the amount of research I have been doing, though. Any tips, tricks, and advice is greatly appreciated!

How difficult would it be to upgrade from RoboHelp HTML version 7.03.001 to the latest version (is it v 2015?)? Does the latest version of Robohelp HTML support multi-browsers?
