Hey all,I have been researching a way to view all of the styles in the ‘Styles and Formatting’ pod for a while and I’m running into snags while getting it to work.My company uses a massive amount of styles and despite trying to narrow them all universally to just paragraph styles, I can’t seem to find a way to either scroll out and see them all in one view, or shorten the space between the style titles in the pod.Does anyone know of a way to do this, and if so can it be applied to that pod as a default setting, OR a quick way to do this each time. (short of deleting styles we may only use every now and then and have to add them in later occasionally.)A response A.S.A.P would be great, got A LOT of web and printed generations to do within the next few weeks.(All in Robohelp 11, we FINALLY got away from 9)

Hello all,Does anyone know if the personalized dynamic content filters work for linked FrameMaker books? Specifically, does the (linked) FrameMaker TOC dynamically update based on the filter selections?I'm currently creating a mock-up project to showcase this feature, but my FrameMaker books must  be "linked" (not imported) with the Robohelp project. The filtering seems to work (ie, content is displayed or hidden depending on the filter), but the TOC does not dynamically update. Is it supposed to?As well, clicking on a TOC item that conditionalized and used as one of the filters does not link to the topic (that is, I click on the TOC item, and the corresponding content does not appear in the right-hand pane. This happens if that content is currently conditionalized and used as a filter criteria for dynamic content).thanks.

Is there a RoboHelp topic review workflow that allowsfor multiple simultaneous reviewersreviewers to see each other's comments?I'm evaluating RoboHelp 2015 and have played with the PDF Review workflow.  However, PDFs don't allow simultaneous reviews.  Each reviewer would have to work on their own version of the review PDF, which means they wouldn't see comments from other reviewers. I appreciate anything you all can share as to your review process within your company. Thanks.

I have a client who accidentally clicked on the X in one of her TOC pods on one project. Unfortunately, it appears that she has lost all of the contents in the Table of Contents and is now having to rebuild it. There is no reason that I can think of that would empty the contents of the TOC as it had previously been saved. Even if she had made a few changes to it, the entire TOC should not have been lost in my view. The TOC file exists but there is nothing in it. Then she opened her other RoboHelp projects and discovered that the TOC for each of her RH projects was also lost. Can anyone tell me how this could happen? I have never encountered this before so I am not sure how this should be avoided.She was in the process of moving her pods around on the screen and rather then pinning it in place she hit the x. By the time she showed me her file all of the project pods were no longer displaying. I showed her how to add them back in to her view but the situation with the TOC is a complete m

why do I get "There was a problem running the macro (1037) when running help on Windows 7 PC?

Hello All,Absolute RH newb here. So calling robo help from a URL thusly:http://OurRoboHelpServer:8080/mybondapp/server?area=general&prj=MyBondApp&ctxid=11001Opens the window, but it's a 90x90 pixel window that must be resized. I tried looking at the TechScribe articles and Wvan Weelden and I don't understand how to do the things described. If I were a front end developer I'm sure it would be clear, however I am not. I have an issue where the search function in my web output with multiple languages yields results in all languages. For example, if the user enters a word that might appear in all outputs regardless of the language, the results will display all the HTML pages for every language where it appears.Is there a way to configure the web output so that if the user is viewing the English content, only the English HTML pages are displayed when using the search function?Thanks,Chris

I am using RoboHelp 8 and when I opened my project today, my project files had reogranized themselves.  When attempting to drag and drop to put them in the correct order, the file will drag, but does not drop.  I drop it and it does not move to the new location in the project files of the project manager.  Additionally, when regenerating the toc, not all the project file folder appear in the toc, only some of the files show up in the toc when I auto generate.  It was working fine yesterday and then today it is broken.  Any idea on how I can fix this?

Attempting to use the "Create PDF for Review", however, the Enable commenting in Adobe Reader is greyed out.  Adobe Reader X1 and Adobe Acrobat DC is installed, are either compatible?

Currently My team members and myself are creating a responsive layout to use for our projects, however, when we create the layout and add to Robosource on one machine, the other machines can see the screen layout but can not select to apply it. Does anyone know of a solution to allow multiple machines to use a responsive layout via version control in Robosource?

I'm doing an eval of Release 2015 right now, but I also have this behavior in RH10.Is there a setting whereby I can set image properties while inserting (or changing) an image file, without having to close/reopen the dialog? This is a truly annoying issue that I can't seem to find a solution to within RH. (Not to mention it's also extremely counter-productive!)Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If it's a 'bug' how do I go about getting it fixed?

I have upgraded a WebHelp project supporting a browser application from RoboHelp 9 to Robohelp 11.02.240.The WebHelp context sensitive help displays and refreshes correctly when the browser application is opened in Firefox and Chrome.The following error occurs when the browser application is opened in IE11:1/ The first time a help button is selected on the application the help window displays correctly.2/ But leave the help window open and select a help button on the application and the help window does not refresh correctly. A Blank Page is displayed.    The browser application uses the RoboHelp_CSH.js file and the RH_ShowHelp function with the HH_HELP_CONTEXT command.I have provided my software developers with the lastest RoboHelp_CSH.js file shipped with RoboHelp 11.02.240.This is an old application and the help did display correctly in IE when it was developed. I dont know which IE release introduced the problem.Is there a fix? Thanks.

We are upgrading from RH9 to RH11.  In doing so, IT changed the source control server and removed the old one.  The RH projects are still trying to connect to the old server.  How can we remove the SC from the projects without connecting to a now non-existent SC server?

A staff member has asked if he can have statistics on how often employees are sending a certain email to customers. The email in question is a UDV. Is there a way I can pull statistics on how often that UDV has been opened?

Hi,I have an issue with the scroll bar. I want to remove scroll bar from the multiscreen HTML 5 output. I want vertical but want to remove horizontal scroll bar? This means the screen should be fixed. Can someone help me in resolving this issue?

Member  in our work group use RH 11.  If a new member order RH 15, can all members work on the same files?

Two of the three master pages contained in my project have disappeared from the Master Pages folder in Project Setup.  They are still "assigned" to the topics where they have been used, and those topics look fine, but I am unable to select them when creating new topics.  When I look at my local project files, I see them in the folder for this project so they are not completely gone.  I did try to re-import them into the Project Setup, but got no results.  How do I get them back into the Project Setup so they are available for use?  Thanks!

I am experiencing extremely slow printing of pdfs in Acrobat Reader DC. I print from an HP Office Jet 8610 and I did not have this problem printing from XI Pro or Reader. I see that there are many complaints regarding this issue. Have there been any solutions?

I'll be meeting with a developer tomorrow to discuss possible solutions for the Browser history issue, where calling RoboHelp using the CSH JS API creates an entry into the browser history (for IE, at least), and then clicking Back recalls a CSH Help topic instead of taking them to their previous page in the browser. It appears that I will need to spoon feed them a solution in order to get a fix implemented. I understand scripting enough to muck through HTML, but I will definitely need assistance. The developer has told me this so far: "The events that are causing it to be an issue are that the project is sitting out on a file system (rather then web) and second that we are using an IE4 browser, the combination invokes an 'iFrame' instead of a pop-up window and stores a history record in the parents browser history." This doesn't quite make sense to me, unless the iFrame is the "IE 4 browser", because they've got us all on the same patch and same version of IE 6 at the company. Als

I just upgraded from Robohelp 11 to Robohelp 2015. We normally generate our output in the Webhelp format, but I want to try Responsive HTML5 to take advantage of the Dynamic Content Filter feature. After converting my project and customizing the Responsive HTML5 settings, I've tried generating the output. When I open the output after Robohelp generates the files, Internet Explorer crashes/stalls, and a message pops up at the bottom of the browser stating that the "The webpage is not responding due to a long-running script." When I open the file in Chrome, I do not get this error, but the project lags and starts becoming unresponsive if I click around enough. I've tried tinkering with the Responsive HTML5 settings and even going back to the defaults... but I can't seem to get it to work. Oddly, out of the 15-20 times or so that I've tried generating the project files, one of them seemed to work... at least better than the other times. I have a master project that houses external links to many projects (over 70) and all index entries combine to create a master index for the help system. After I upgraded to RH2015 and I have generated both the sub-project and the master project, the keyword/subkeyword relationships have disappeared. Index entry keywords are listed without any subcatgories although the project has them. Like this:So, now I have a giant list of keywords without the indentations to delineate the keyword groups. I did much of the index by hand using the Topic Properties and the "keyword\subkeyword" format. Has that delimiter changed? Anyone know or have the same issue? Am I missing a simple setting some place?I've been through the What's New and Forums here, but am not seeing anything.Thanks in advance.

I had a PDF document which had to be converted to a word document( as I had to edit some content). As we  don't have a PDF converter, I decided to import the document into Robohelp and generate a  word document. But all the pdf pages were converted to images when I imported into Robohelp and generated the printed document  all the content were displayed as images.(I was unable to edit the text in Robohelp as well).How should I do it. Please help.
