Hi,I have been facing this issue where the Topic Content Pane (<div>) overlaps the SideBar pane every time I try to open the Browser-Based AirHelp after it has been published on a server.Although, if I view the same locally on my machine, it appears fine.I'm using RoboHelp 10 to create the help and have the context sensitivity enabled for integrating the help with my software application.I have also created the custom window for viewing help.Now, considering the fact, that we are only using and testing our helpfile on the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome browsers with Flash enabled, this problem however, is not consistent. After getting published, on some machines it appears fine on both browsers and on some it only appears fine on any one of the browsers. Hi guys,I'm sorry, I know the problem's been diskussed a lot. But I still have the problem, that after generating my CHM-File the glossary tab is empty. I already tried registering various HHActiveX.dlls i found in robohelps installation directory.I tried registering them by using %windir%\system32\cmd.exe and %windir%\syswow64\cmd.exe.The dlls I tried to register are:C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\RoboHTML\HHActiveX.dllC:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\Redist\HHActiveX.dllC:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\Redist\x64\HHActiveX.dllI tried to register them all together and i tried to register only one at a time.The funny thing is, after generating and opening the file directly out of robohelp, the glossary showed up once. After closing and opening the same file, the glossary was again empty.I am using RoboHelp 9 on Windows 8.1. 64-bit.Is there a chance to get that CHM-File to work?Thank's in advance.

Hi. I'm using RoboHelp HTML 8.0.2.208, having recently updated from 5X, generating WebHelp. In a discussion about a year ago (May 2009 - http://forums.adobe.com/message/1924387#1924387) I learned that as of that time there was no option for "turning off" ranked search results.Point #1 - Maybe behind the times to want Search to return a simple, non-ranked alphabetized list, but forum postings make it seem that it is desireable for a number of users to at least have the option. Currently lacking that option (and, yes, possibly for the better), we're fine with bringing our help users up-to-date with ranked search results (generate with the "Show Context in Search Result" not selected).Point #2 - However, at least in our case, the left-hand Rank column of the search results seems more a waste of screen real estate than it is an aid. Hello,I was so excited about the new Captivate 8 responsive projects for developing apps.  I have a Mac and I have Captivate 8.  Here is where I am at...and don't know what to do anymore.  STUCK!  I have all the certificates, the provisioning profiles required by apple.  I developed a "test" app.  When publishing, I signed in with my Adobe phone gap account.  Entered all my iOS information.  But then what?  Do I have to run it through xCode?  When I go in my phone gap account, I can see the app.  How do I package this to send it for approbation?  (I am absolutely NOT very familiar with this kind of development so please excuse my ignorance...

I have Rh 10 installed in my 64-bit machine with Windows 7 OS.The problem is when I click Printed Documentation and click Next in the Printed Documentation screen, Rh crashes.Without clicking Next, if I click Save & Generate, pdf is generated with missing topics.When I check the event log, I see Application Error. What exactly is causing this crash? Please help.

I have both Word 2010 and 2003 installed. Normally I use the 2010 Version and there were no general problems importing from Word into Robohelp 11. However I now used the 2003 version for a brief period and after this no Word import into Robohelp is possible any more. This concerns all documents (also new test documents), both .doc and .docx.When I switch between Word version I get the "Configuring Word.." dialog every time and this process evidently confuses Robohelp's ability to call the correct Word version. I tried all combinations, having Word 2010 or 2003 as my currently configured version and importing both .doc and .docx documents, but nothing works anymore.I have the hope that I can reset Robohelp's Word configuration - is there any solution except for re-installing?Robert

Our company is considering using RoboHelp for online help. Our present documents have images that are in the form of screenshots with circles and arrows over the relevant parts. Will these import with circles and arrows intact? Right now we don't have Robohelp installed so no way of checking in advance.

Recently moved from RH9 to RH10. I produced HTML5 output using the same files and Map IDs as the WebHelp output used from RH9. I even made sure the htm output file was the same name. When dropped into the product, the CSH icons no longer bring up the correct topic, they just launch the entire help system. Should I be able to just replace the help files, or will the developers have to reprogram how help is called? At a previous job, I went from RoboHelp-generated WebHelp to Flare-generated HTML5, and all the map IDs worked just fine. Seems RH to RH would work too.

When using IE11, all attempts to access my organization’s published Help file displays a blank page with no URL shown. I have seen similar forum discussions on this topic but nothing that has helped us crack this problem.  The Help file is generated in RH11 and version 11.0.3. We recently upgraded, but had the same problem with IE11 using RH10.Our in-house testing shows this behavior does not occur when opening the Help on IE10 or the latest versions of FireFox, Chrome, and Safari. The Help opens successfully when using these other browsers (although two pages open when using FireFox, one of which is the Help and the other is a blank page).  A developer on my team found the following javascript error when attempting this action in IE11: ‘Permission Denied in whcsh_home.htm line 295’. Hello all,I am using RH8 for HTML on Windows 7.  When I insert a new image into a topic, the image does not show.  What appears is a small red square.   You probably want to know how I inserted the images.  I create the image (usu a jpg file) in Photoshop Elements.  Using Windows Explorer, I copy the image file into the Images folder for the RH project.  In the RH topic, I click Insert, Image.  In the dialog box,  the image does not show up under the images folder, so I click the Browse icon to browse to teh image, select it and click ok.   The image is inserted.. I can tell because there is a red square, and when I preview the topic, I can see the image is there.  Also, even after I have inserted the image, and it then shows up in the Images folder in the "insert image" dialog box, I still cant see a preview of it.How can I get the images to show in the topic when i insert them?Bob

  Having an issue with Robo11 allowing me to change a style in a topic (document imported from Word) that already exist in the style css. Robo allows me to scroll down, but immediately jumps back to the top. This has only occured on 4-5 projects out of over 50 projects. Have tried more than one way to change style, but continues to jump to top of style type list.

I have installed RH 11 and all 4 patches. When I open a RH8 project in the new RH 11, I'm receiving root.fpj and rhbag.fpj errors.  Any ideas as to how to fix or what is causing the issues? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Opening a RoboHelp 8 project in new RoboHelp 11 and receive the following error:An error occurred while trying to save data to rhbag.apj...I can see this file in the project but many of my baggage files (.pdfs) are missing and I am not able to add them back into the project. I select New Baggage file and select the file to add, however the file is not added and no other error is received.Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

When generating a Responsive Design HTML 5 output, I'm getting this error:  "MasterThemeSchema.xml file has invalid data." I am unable to  access the manage layout features now to continue my customizations.  I had imported a customized font before seeing this message. I'm moved the project to my harddrive, where the software is installed, and and still getting it (I know RH doesn't always do well on a network drive).  Any ideas?

When I following the instructions for inserting a Multimedia file using the Insert > Multimedia Demo option.I can insert an audio clip (.wav) no problem. I can click the View Selected Items icon and see an audio player (Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/jBowwVKtQ), but when I actually generate the help I no longer get an audio player and the sound clip automatically plays.Is there a way that I can have the audio clip and player appear when I generate the help like when I use the View Selected Items icon and not auto play with no player option?Thanks for your help!

First - recently purchased RH v11, after using 8 for many years. But that has nothing to do with this issue.Due to a series of catastrophic events, I lost my VMware drive (where I create my content) and my backup drive as well. I do have a backup on an external drive from about 8 months ago. I create content locally, then publish to a webserver for our users to view over our intranet.I pulled the content down from my webserver, but there is no .xpj file. Old backup has a lot of extra folders (under !SSL!, WebHelp, WebHelp_Pro), which I'm thinking are unnecessary. So - thinking of the following, and wondering what people might advise is best:Use the old files from the backup and recreate data. I think I'd shoot myself.Copy everything under each project from the backup into the projects I downloaded from the webserver into my old local folders, but don't overwrite any existing filesAny other suggestions? Trying to install Robohelp 11 (not server version) and getting stopped when Robohelp wants me to create a database. There is no database software on this machine and SOE does not permit a database product.Can I still use Robohelp?

When we are running a search on a merged project, pressing Cancel to cancel the operation, followed by running a new search results in a Javascript error on both Firefox and IE (11).  In Firefox the response is to send the user an error message saying that the script is taking too long to run continue/cancel.  Continuing results in a loop-back to the error, eventually.  Cancel and reload filxes the issue.  On IE, it shows show as a hung browser.Thoughts?-m

Our team is currently using a old version of Robohelp and are looking to update it.  We've looked at the pros and cons of Helpsmith, Doc-To-Help, Madcap Flare and, of course, Robohelp 11.  If our version 7 files could easily be converted then Robohelp 11 would immediately jump to the top our of interest list.Thanks,Greg

I just got the new TC suite 5. I used to have TC suite 3.5.I have many documents created in FrameMaker 9 from TC 3.5. Now, when I convert them to the new FM 11, randomly graphics that were Imported by Copy into the document are suddenly showing up missing. FM 11 is trying to find them in the original folders I inserted them from, which are unfortunately long gone.The first few times it happened I thought it was my mistake. But a document that I'd opened in FM 11 and worked fine suddenly came up searching for some graphics, and they're graphics I'd inserted several versions ago, so now I know that it's not my error. For some reason, Frame 11 is deciding that some graphics imported by copying into the document many versions ago were imported by reference.Any thoughts? How can I report this to Adobe?

I've selected the Exclude this topic from Search checkbox for a specific topic and generated a new CHM file. But when searching for a specific word, the topic appears in the search results. Is there a bug with this issue?

I cannot open projects or import files or images in RoboHelp. I can open existing projects in Windows Explorer, but I cannot open them via File > Open, or by clicking Open...on the splash screen. I am trying to create a new project, but cannot import my company's css, skin, or any other templates I need to create the project I want. This is a Robo problem only. I do not have this problem with FM or Captivate. This is a fairly recent problem that seemed product related, not project related, so i uninstalled and reinstalled robo help, but it did not help anything. When I click File > Open or File > Import, Robo freezes, and I cannot click anything. When I hit Esc on the keyboard the mouse is released and I can again navigate and click stuff in RoboHas anyone else had this problem?
