Hi,Have you found a solution to this? I am having the exact same problem - it was working well previously but now, whenever I have conditional text IN A TABLE in my FrameMaker source that is hidden, Robohelp crashes.Thanks.

HI, I am experiencing a problem related to page numbers in the pdf generated through the RoboHELP source files. Hereby I am giving some images of the initial pages of the PDF, in which I have clearly explained the issue. I have removed the content and images related to our project. Please let me know, how I can overcome this issue. NOTE: The page numbering issue was not there earlier.  I have imported two frame maker files. Then I was not able to generate a PDF. That particular FM file had a table. Read in the Adobe forum that some type of tables may affect the generation of PDF. Hence, I have deleted the FM files. Since then I am facing the page numbering issue. Here are the images with my explanation of the issue:The following is an image of the pdf. This is actually the fourth page of the pdf, but it is numbered as xiv.The next pae is numbered as xv. Again the numbering reverted back to xiv as shown in the following iamge.Immeditely after the TOC, the 1st page is numbered as 11

I recently converted from RH 7 to RH 8. I have updated existing pages and created new pages. Any pages that I have touched since the upgrade will not display when published with WebHelp out to my company's networked location. They will display when I publish WebHelp just to my computer. What can I do to fix this? I am using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8. Publishing via WebHelpThank you

I converted WinHelp to HTMLHelp in RH8.  I lost all of the indentation of my index.  Is there an automated way to fix?

Hello, Situation:               Upgraded several projects from RH9 to RH11               WebHelp Pro Output               RoboHelp Server 9Search no longer works for upgraded RH11 projects.  No matter the topic or keyword entered, results are zero.Search works on RH9 projects.I looked through forums for similar situations, I didn't find any for RH11.  Some solutions for RH10 said to verify the whfts file included all the xml packages and the RH11 output does.  Others had to do with settings in WebHelp but couldn't find anything specific to WebHelp Pro.Any ideas?Thanks,Julie

Selecting Printed_Documenatation crashes more than half the time in RoboHelp 10.There are two messages saying that RoboHelp has crashed and needs to close. Problem Event Name:APPCRASH  Application Name:RoboHTML.exe  Application Version:10.0.0.287  Application Timestamp:4ff35b9d  Fault Module Name:OLEAUT32.dll  Fault Module Version:6.1.7601.17676Problem Event Name:APPCRASH  Application Name:RoboHTML.exe  Application Version:10.0.0.287  Application Timestamp:4ff35b9d  Fault Module Name:ntdll.dll  Fault Module Version:6.1.7601.18247This happens when double clicking on Printed_Documenatation or right clicking and selecting Properties. Sometimes it works, there seems to be no pattern though. Tried multple projects including the sample projects.

Has anyone observed this problem. If so, is there a way to fix this? If I have text in angle brackets <> right next to a glossary term, and I run the Robohelp Glossary hotspot wizard, Robohelp will get confused and delete that text in the generated output . I've shown this using some screen captures. I'm losing my mind.  I tested adding a PDF to my RH 10 project last week and would have sworn the Baggage Files folder appeared after I did that. Now nothing I do will trigger display of the Baggage folder.  I've toggled the Project Manager view back and forth; I've readded the file; I've restarted the project.  When I toggle between views in the Project Manger pod, the only thing that changes is HTML Files toggles to Project Files but the contents look identical.  😕😕The only thing I can think of after perusing the forum is that I added the Baggage file to the root folder because we don't have subfolders in the project. I did try attaching it to a specific topic but that didn't have any effect either.  I must be missing something obvious. Help?

I have created an image map with multiple hotspots (using RoboHelp HTML v11, creating a WebHelp help system). The hotspots are invisible by default. Is there any way to make them visible, so the user can see that they are present in WebHelp? Thanks!Tim Huddleston,Charlotte, NC

When I search for specific words that starts with a bold letter (e.g. "Allowance"), that I know are in the eManual, I get zero results. I have several other eManuals with similar formatted words, but have no problems with them coming up in the search results. I've spent some time comparing the settings between the eManual that works and the one that doesn't.  I've gone into the topic properties, checked the Stop List in Project Settings, and reviewed the HTML, thinking that the bold tag was breaking the word up in HTML, therefore limiting the search- but I believe the search uses text instead of HTML. I've attached two screenshots. One of the Design (text) and the other of the HTML.Design/TextHTMLI am using RoboHelp HTML, version 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!Gretchan

I've searched for whether this can be done from Robohelp but all my queries are matching the FM Named Destinations to PDF, which I know how to use, but is not the particular goal.  It seems there should be a way to convert MapIDs in RH to Destinations in PDF but I have not found anything that indicate the Printed Doc Single Source workflow supports this. We recently upgraded 5 WebHelp projects from RoboHelp 10 to 11.  Everything went smoothly except for one project that is displaying a huge amount of broken links.  These appear to be for Index words and even Map IDs but the strangest are the ones that appear to be picking up the first few words of a topics.  For example: Copying_a_statement.htm#Select_a_statement_and.Any ideas what may have caused this and how do I go about correcting the problem.

Why when publishing and merging 2 projects, one of the projects does not completely publish?  When I publish each as a standalone project they each publish completely.Additional Info - Using RoboHELP Server Web Administrator, if I uncheck the "Automatically merger projects of the same type" and then View each project seperately each Project is complete (the TOC for each is complete).  If I check the "Automatically merger projects of the same type" and view the merged Project one of the Projects is only partially viewable.  In other words the TOC does not contain all the project books and pages.  Unchecking the "Automatically merger projects of the same type" and the TOC is once again complete.I applied a fix suggested by Adobe support and now I am getting the following message whenever I click on a Book in the TOC at any level, "Loading, click to cancel..."  BTW, clicking on the message does nothing.

My team is having major issues with RH11 and now want to go back to RH9 until we sort the issues out. How do I open projects in an older version of help still installed on my machine? 

I have generated webhelp using a trial version of RH11.  When the webhelp is deployed to the web server the navigation buttons (browse sequence) do not work with Google Chrome.  The buttons work correctly when the webhelp is installed on my local machine.  I experienced this same issue with RH10 and was hoping that RH11 corrected the problem.  Any ideas?

Earlier i couldnt see an image in the settings manger. i research this and found that in, internet options>advanced tab>security. to uncheck the box that reads. save image to disk. so I cleared the check box and now I have an image to clear my flash cache.  Now i cant see it again.  the only thing different i did was run my Malwarebytes program.  that shouldnt have done anything to the problem. i checked the internet options under advanced tab again the the box is still unchecked.  so why am i not seeing the image?  also, when i checked to see if i had flash player installed ( I uninstalled my copy today and reinstalled the same program, I was concerned about a faulty program) it installed correctly, it said i have the current version installed but it says i dont have any browser?  Im using IE10.  it said all this when i was testing my new installation.  Please help..

Hi,I've edited the mobile.css file for iPhone layout. There is a blue color near the Search bar and on Contents and Index links that I'd like to change. Where in thh mobile.css file can I change this? Examples are below. In the first example, I want to change the color that appears around the Search bar. I searched for background code in mobile.css, but no changes I made seemed to affect this. I also want to change the blue color for the Contents and Index links.

Hi,I have trouble with setting the start page for a WebHelp project. In the options for the WebHelp I can set the output directory but RH ignores my setting for the start page. What RH does, is creating a directory with the name of the .htm I provided. Maybe I'm forgetting something.My input looks like this:C:\tmp\rb\name.htmRH creates the WebHelp like thisC:\tmp\rb\name.htm\Project_Title.htmI've read the manual about this and I'm still clueless, why RH does not recognize my start page entry.Any ideas?

It sounds like the issue of the contents panel not appearing has been around a long time - and is even in RH10. I produced a WebHelp system in RoboHelp 7 a few years ago and had no problems. My IT department upgraded me to RoboHelp 9, and I made some updates to a few topics and redeployed it in our workflow system. However now the Help is missing the contents tree. Some experimentation revealed that the contents only appeared when we use an http call to the Help. If called from an https statement, which our secure workflow system does exclusively, the contents are missing. Since I see there is a fix for the missing contents in another post to the forum, I wondered if a) anyone else has seen my problem? and b) does anyone have a fix for it, or will the js script solution for RH10 to IE11 work for RH9 to IE8? Greetings,First time post, based on need…My organization currently utilizes Robohelp for building their help documentation, and we are trying to assess the feasibility of  upgrading to RH11. Our last help document was built using RH10, we can publish just fine, and all appears well.  I’ve recently installed the RH11 trail just to see if I can get it working . I open the project from our shared location, and it downloads the current project files to my local machine. From there I point RH to my project file and choose ‘open’. From there it recognizes that the project was built in an older version, and it asks if I would like to upgrade. I choose the upgrade option, and all appears well until it gets to the reloading files step (viewing the status bar at bottom). No progress is made, and I give it about 5 minute until I get the message from robohelp… “Robohelp has stopped working.”Windows 8 8.1RH 11 Trial 64 bitAny help regarding this would be greatly appreciated!Thank You!

Hi,I need to customize the colors and icons in Screen Layout for iPads and iPhones. The Home slp has links to TOC and Index slps. In the Home page's HTML view, I can't find code that links to the default orange header_background.png or the icons for Content, Index, or Glossary.(I see them in Windows Explorer view when I open C:\HELP\iPad Help\HelpProject\!ScreenLayout!\iPad_Layout_TEST.) How can I change header_backround.png in slp for iPad or iPhone?Do I need to create a new SLP and can I insert our company logo into it? I really just want to generate output that uses colors other than the iPad default gray and brown or iPhone default light blue and gray Screen Layouts. I'd prefer to use the default SLPs I see in the Project Set-up pod and just edit them to change colors and icons.I have opened each slp under iPad Layout and don't see where I can change the defaults used on the Home page slp. Does the BugHunter tool work on a 64-bit machine in RoboHelp 10?

I was previously using RoboHelp 8 on Windows 7 64-bit. Yesterday, I uninstalled RoboHelp 8, and installed Technical Communication Suite 5, selecting RoboHelp 11, Acrobat, and Captivate. Now, When I try to launch RoboHelp 11 from the Start menu, the app crashes immediately. I am still using RH8 and I'm creating documentation for a new version of a product. We created the documentation for the old version and 80% of the changes we need to make are just changing the version #. So I figured it would just be easiest to copy the old documentation and then do a find and replace. Is there an easy way to copy a Robohelp project?
