Hi, In a new 2019 project, when I insert a breadcrumb placehoder in the header of the Master Page, I can see a non-touchable/editable numeral below it.Earlier it was visible in both source and outputs but now when I tried recreating a new Masterpage, it is only visible in the output.Attached is a screenshot of both source and outputs for your reference. Hi, My company wants to implement a "unified enterprise search engine (or insight engine/cognitive search). We would like to know if it is possible to connect to the Robohelp search engine and import (or export depending on the way you see it) the search results into the global (unified results). We would like to know how to do it. Thank you!
I seem to have already found documentation on how the Robohelp search engine works, namely what is the order in which the results are displayed. For example, does the search engine starts by finding the search terms in the title, then the keywords and then in the content? Is there anywhere I can find this documentation? I just can't find it in the user guide. If not, can someone give me the order in which RH is searching? ThanksP.S. I'm working with RH 2020.7.46

Where would I go to center the text in a column in a table? I have a class "center-test" that I have added to each TD and TH tag in the column, but that is tiem consuming. Regards,Rich

It's been a while.RH 2017 latest update.Word from Office 365Adobe Acrobat DC 2015For my work, I have about 40 Microsoft Word *.doc files of varying sizes with thousands of hidden XE fields (Index fields) in them. The Word docs are created from RoboHelp 2017 sections. I need to convert these .doc files into PDF files every six months or so when we publish a new version of our software. I use Adobe Acrobat DC to do the conversion into PDF. I can convert these Word docs one at a time, and they look just how I want them, as long as I open them up inside Word, one by one, and from the Acrobat add-in menu in Word, I choose Create PDF. However... The ProblemIn Acrobat DC, if I try to be efficient and convert all the .doc files in a group by using File > Create > Create Multiple PDF Files, then hidden XE index fields on the headings end up polluting my Bookmarks in the Bookmarks pane of my PDF files. I just recently uninstalled/rebooted/installed my Robohelp due to a different issue. With the same version installed, I get this warning when I open my RH project:I click OK, generate a Responsive HTML5 output, no errors, but the index.htm file does not open correctly. It just keeps "thinking." I tried to open in Edge thinking Chrome might be the culprit, but I'm getting same issue.Any ideas?
I upgraded to Version 2022.3.93 (i.e., Update 3 of RoboHelp (2022 Release)) last month. Created Snippet Categories so I could organize all my snippets. (My snippets were created in RoboHelp 2022, not an earlier version of RoboHelp.) Went through each snippet and assigned a Snippet Category. All went well for a little while. In the left panel of RoboHelp, I would select Snippets. All my snippets would display in their correct Snippet Category. I could drag and drop to my topic without issue. Then one day, I added a new snippet with a Snippet Category. Immediately all my other snippets' categories were removed. In the left panel of RoboHelp, after selecting Snippets, the only snippet I would see was the new one. All others were gone. (They were still available if I went to Contents > assets > snippets. But dragging and dropping from there to my topic is not the same/does not work correctly.) So I took the time and went back through all of them again to assign a Snippet Categor
Hi there,I'm using RoboHelp 2022.2.22, Visual Studio Professional 2019 (Version 16.11.20) with TF.exe version 16.171.32802.2. I'm trying to follow the directions (https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/using/devops.html) to set up the connection profile so I can add my RoboHelp project to Azure TFS. Our TFS database is stored on a local server. However, after it asks me for credentials it always gives me the following error: Incorrect workspace exists in specified local directory.I have filled out the connection profile in several different ways, but nothing seems to work. I'm quite sure I have it filled out correctly, because if I delete the specified Workspace from Visual Studio TFS, and attempt to make the connection again in RoboHelp, it (very conveniently) creates that Workspace for me in Visual Studio exactly as I have specified and exactly as it should be. Same error.
IT advised to start a RoboHelp trial under a personal account. The Review function worked (probably because it was using my Personal account for storage). They gave me an Enterprise user account and added RH 2020 to it (I have since upgraded to 2022, but the problem was there from the beginning). As soon as I activated the license, the Review function stopped working and I get the "File syncing disabled, contact IT" message. It also shows I have no storage. I have tried to uninstall/reninstall every Adobe product from my laptop, plus all the procedures you mentioned. My IT rep showed me the Admin Console and there was no restriction on syncing. I also tried: Peter Grainge's suggestion of removing the Cloud ID line from the project file and deleting the previous review files, deleting the options.tix file from CoreSync (it isn't there), doing and End Task on all Adobe and CoreSync in the Task Manager, and a few others. Hi all,I raise this question in the forum because I have not found in the RH interface the way to expand/collapse the whole content of the TOC.I am working with version 2022.1, using the Studio skin and generating the output using the Frameless preset. In these conditions I see the Expand/Collapse buttons used with drop-down text. Is there something similar for TOC? Thanks in advance!
Working on a project using RoboHelp 2020. Would like to organize a large number of snippets using categories. The RH online help says "In the Snippets panel, selet +, and then select Category. I do not see an option for category. When I click on +, I am only given a dialog box to create a snippet. What am I overlooking?
Users are liking <h2> headings as dropdowns in some longer topics. I would like to use the Mini-Toc link to not only target the <h2> but open the dropdown. (Users have asked why this doesn't happen.) A search does a pretty good job of delivering this. Is there some class or a javascript I can add to the links?
Hi All,I've a project through which I'm generating Word output in RH 2022. I have applied thumbnails to the images that exceed 1300 px in size. In Word output, the same image is falling outside the page. How to control this behavior in Word output? Do I need to manually adjust in Word or is there any option to control it?
Dear Friends, the new function is great to publish directly to Confluence. I face some issues - maybe someone already solved that:1. The order of the pages in Confluence is not the same as in the published TOC used for the export. How to get the same order/sequence of pages?2. Folders will be an extra site in Confluence, but without any text. This is not that nice. Is there a possibility to fill the empty page (which is a Folder in RH) with content?3. Formatting is not always correct - is there a way to optimize it? e.g. Templates in Confluence instead of inline styles?Many thanks for every appreciated hint.enjoy
Some drop-downs in my project are not working when published, even though they display correctly in my output preview. One difference I noticed when comparing drop-downs that work correctly vs. those that do not work, is the ones that work correctly are labeled as Drop-Down Title type in the Content Properties pane. The drop-downs that don't work just display as "drop spot" style. For context on how I publish, I generate my output to my C drive and then upload the files for my IT team to publish to our Help Center webpage.
I am running RH 2022.3.93 version. When I click to begin the Responsive HTML5 Output, I recieve the application error message telling me to restart. The output is created and I can view it. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?Thanks!
Where can I find 2022.0 for mac? This is the version we are using and I have it installed on my Windows machines, but not on Mac
I compiled a help project today and received multiple warnings. One of the warnings indicated my browse sequence file was external and would not be copied to the output folder. I generate three other versions of the project using conditional build tags. I tried each of them, and all of them still worked as expected. As part of my troubleshooting process, I restored the browse sequence for the version of the project on which I was getting the warnings. The project generated without warnings. I deleted one topic from the browse sequence and added one topic to the browse sequence using the UI. When I generated the project, I again recieved multiple warnings. I examined the .brs file in NotePad++. The system had copied the first topic in the browse sequence (the welcome topic) to the end of the browse sequence, duplicating the topic in the browse sequence, and did not put a line separator between that topic and the closing browse sequence tag
I'm having a similar issue. It looks like RH is looking for a Temp folder that it failed to create. Hi guys, trying to figure out with new Robo feature, but after pressing Create a link robo returns an error. Adobe Creative Cloud is installed and I logged in it with the same user as in RoboHelp. Any suggestions?

I followed Peter Grainge's instructions for displaying fonts on devices that don't have the installed fonts by adding the @11220649-face text to the CSS file. The URL file, Inter-VariableFont_slnt,wght.ttf, contains several variations of the font (e.g., Light, Medium, SemiBold, etc.) which I use for drop-down text and subheadings. The majority of my styles use the primary font which is Inter. The text I added to the CSS file initially was: @11220649-face {font-family: "Inter";src: url("Inter-VariableFont_slnt,wght.ttf");} However, when I viewed the output on a different computer, it converted the Inter Light, Inter Medium, etc. text to Inter. Since variables of the primary font (e.g., "font-family: 'Inter Light';", "font-family: 'Inter Medium';", etc.) are in the CSS, I added similar @11220649-face text for the other three. For example:@11220649-face {font-family: "Inter Light";src: url("Inter-VariableFont_slnt,wght.ttf");} However, when I viewed the output
Hi all,Apologies if someone has already asked this, but I would like to replace all my RH 2017 drop-downs with expanded text. The issue is that I have a lot of drop-downs in my project, so doing this manually is not an option. Has anyone encounter this issue before? Do you know if there's a way of doing this automatically? The idea is to try to replace all the drop-downs with something else that preserves the content inside the drop-downs. Any ideas are more than welcome. 🙂 Thanks in advance!
