Color Picker for Shapes

Why doesn't the color picking tool work for shapes? When I use it for shapes the circular magnified picker doesn't show up?

Hmm... I'm getting the circle for the eyedropper to appear for a shape. I'm using Chrome on Windows. You might try a different browser or making sure that your browser is up to date.
