Templates can no longer be linked to a brand?

New Here ,
Sep 04, 2025 Sep 04, 2025

Yesterday, I discovered that if you want to create templates, you have to convert them. Unfortunately, I can no longer link them to a brand afterwards.
Have other people encountered this problem?
I also noticed that my templates can no longer be found when I move them to a project or my own folder.

Hi @Emuld , @Lily36397043cdhf , @kelsey_3607,

We're sorry for the delay. I'd like to inform you that Adobe Express has updated its template system for better organization and performance.

Key changes:

  • You can edit templates after creation and view detailed previews.

  • Faster, more stable performance for template actions.

What you'll need to do:
Move your templates from Brands to Projects usi

I'm having this same problem. I used to be able to export as a template to a Brand. Now, it's only allowing me to export to a Project. I can't seem to move my templates to the Brand anymore.

This is an issue for me aswell. I have older brands with templates that are usuable, but I can not make a new one and add a template. The only options I have are to add logo, font, colors, and graphics.

Hi @Emuld , @Lily36397043cdhf , @kelsey_3607,

  • You can edit templates after creation and view detailed previews.

  • Faster, more stable performance for template actions.

What you'll need to do:
Move your templates from Brands to Projects using the migration flow. Once moved, you can reorganize them into personal folders. Existing templates will still work but can’t be saved to Brands anymore.
