With Adobe Scan Premium I need help with saving as PNG which has not only consumes much less storage but higher resolution. I tried save as original but Photo shows JPEG which is 1MB.
my workaround is to screenshot Saved Photo from Adobe Scan to reduce file storage to 640KB
Is screenshot the only way to reduce Adobe Scan Save as image by 36%?
BTW why JPEG is default rather than PNG?

At the moment, Adobe Scan does not have the functionality to save PDFs directly as PNG files. However, we do offer the ability to save images as JPEGs, which might meet some of your needs.
We value your feedback and always strive to enhance our product offerings based on user input. If you'd like to see the option to save PDFs as PNGs in future updates, we encourage you to submit a feature request directly to our engineering team.
